Amba Hotel Grosvenor

Hotel was immaculate, staff very attentive and friendly, room was lovely and clean however I didn’t find the queen bed comfortable but it is hard to beat my memory foam at home. Breakfast was delicious, overall a lovely stay and we would return :)

Room not ready at 4pm; given a key card for the wrong room. Eventually sorted out. Reunion bar booked out for a private party, not explained at reception. Room lovely and excellent room service,

Hotel staff stole $1600 from my room. Security guy is some Russian gentleman who couldn't have cared less. They called me on my last day and told me to move rooms because of plumbing issues (there were no plumbling issues) and moved me to a room with no working heat that was freezing. A nice hotel run by incompetents and thieves.

Heater was broken, service by one person was unfriendly

Everything was very good except for our night of arrival We arrived from US at night and from the time we checked in all information was completely wrong. We were told by staff that restaurants were open time of closing of 2 restaurants both of them Ended up closed before we we were told .Instaed of advising us we could order room service we ended up having to go all over theNeighborhood looking for food .After 11 pm ,all of the restaurants shut down. So we ended up at a McDonald’s due to the misinformation of the staff. Then we called from and asked if their bar was still open hoping to have a glass of wine with our Mcdonalds and they said no both bars are closed So when we arrived with Mcdonalds food,we walked into to their bar and were informed us that they were open until 1:15 am and welcomed us for ourglass wine . All of this on our first night was totally unnecessary if they just had their staff trained.Once we explained all of this to the lovely manager she was excellent and gave us a free breakfast. Otherwise rooms are totally renovated and clean just don't stay in the “wing rooms “ if you can avoid them.
