Hotel Saint Nicolas

This hotel is located very centrally in Brussels literally within the bars and shops. It is great value for the price and the room is comfortable for a short stay.

Great location, walk out the front door and you're in the middle of all the action. The only downfall is the size of the room - quite small. If you can see past this then this hotel is just fine.

Stayed for 1 night. Room was small, no coffee maker or fridge. Good location. In a pedestrian zone so you have to walk a few to catch a taxi or uber. Very close to tourist attractions, plenty of bars and restaurants.

We stayed at the St. Nicolas the week between Christmas and New Years, so it was incredibly busy. But I could not have found a better location--walking distance to the Grand Place and other attractions (including a 4 minute walk to the meeting point for tours) and right next door to a small market, which we visited every day for snacks and beverages. The hotel itself was charming. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast every day. Really could not have asked for a better experience--especially at this price! Definitely would stay again!

Great location!! Quite comfy room just kinda old. maybe put much bigger sign for hotel’s name..

Very noisy - can hear music and sounds outside . We are 3 persons staying in triple room but only one key given. Very inconvenient especially when one guest was unwell and stayed in hotel room. When we returned at night, we have to knock hard on the door to wake him up to open the door for us.

The rooms we were given were not what we booked! We were given rooms slightly larger than a cupboard, definitely not what was in the photos for a double and a twin room. Our room smelt of cigarettes all weekend :( !!!

The main feature of this hotel is the location: super central, only steps away from Grande Place and the Bourse, not to mention the plethora of shops, bars and restaurants. The property is undergoing some renovation right now, and I’m sure it will be very cool once completed. The gentleman at the reception when we checked-in was less than cordial, and the only time he smiled was when we went back to mention that the room wasn’t yet cleaned. Breakfast was OK, although on the basic side: also here robotic staff.
