Pullman Sydney Hyde Park

Overall our stay at the Pullman was very disappointing. The rooms need a complete makeover as the furnishings are tired, worn and out dated. Housekeeping was very disappointing with 1 coffee pod in a container for 4 and presentation was shocking. Toilet seat would not stay up. We asked to change rooms, no coffee pods in second room and furnishings just as worn and tired as initial room. Manager was apologetic, but it is just not good enough. When you choose 5 star you expect 5 star standard. Would not stay at the Pullman again!

The hotel was close to Hyde Park where you could relax in the gardens and view the scenery. There were numerous malls close to the area and historic sites. The taxis sat right out front of the building and they would take you anywhere in the city. The hotel itself was comfortable and the staff were exceptional, especially with helping me because I was using crutches.

We stayed at the Pullman for Mardi Gras and it honestly couldn’t have been much better! The staff were lovely and helpful, the location was great and the hotel has so many great views- from both the room and the rooftop pool, spa and sitting area. On the day of the Mardi Gras parade, staff dropped off a large piece of rainbow cake with a Happy Mardi Gras card to our room. They also had a rainbow crossing painted out the front of the hotel! Every year we stay at a hotel for Mardi Gras and the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is our absolute favourite place to stay each year. Hope to be back here for Mardi Gras again next year!

Needs a renovation. Inside of windows were dirty and room was worn. Also the room had a motion sensor and if you sat too long reading all your lights turned off, in the dark, one has to find ones way to the front door to activate. Happened over and over. The hotel should also warn guests when window cleaning is happening so that one does not give the cleaners a show! Not overly happy with my stay here. And will never recommend this hotel.

great place to spend mardi gras! front row seat to the action with plenty of parties and events all week. make sure to get an executive room for access to the executive lounge for free breakfast and happy hour beverages.

Loved the roof top pool and lounge area. Waited to check in whilst room was inspected, when we got into room there was a couple of things. Used shower cap hung on back of door and we found a condom (unopened) near bedside cabinet. Sheet on bed didn’t fit mattress which was a nuisance.

I felt very much looked after by all members of staff at the Pullman Hyde Park. Most imporantly my wife enjoyed herself also. Thankyou so much to all staff members who made our stay special.

The lift was terrible made us late every day we were there. They broke down every day cost us alot of time and money extra.
