Rathbone Hotel

Room was VERY small, but comfortable. Bathroom was somewhat past its prime. Staff was wonderful. Location is awesome: tons of restaurants, bars and traditional pubs. Public transportation very close. And busy Oxford street next door. Yet my room was as quiet as could be, facing court side.

3rdvusut this year to this hotel. Great location. Lots of restaurants and pubs close by. Had breakfast this time, which we enjoyed.

What a lovely hotel in the centre of London. Our greeting at the desk set the tone for our one night stay, it was so warm and friendly and genuine. We were asked if it was a special occasion so we told them about our ruby wedding the day before and that we were in town for the staged concert of les miserables. On our return to our room later that afternoon, there was a card, a slate with two cakes on it and a double cd of the original cast recording of les miserables! It was such a lovely touch. Whenever we went through reception, everyone greeted you warmly. The location was great just a 5 minute walk from Oxford street and 10 minutes from the theatres. I would recommend it to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic hotel with an unbeatable location. Highly recommended for journeys into Soho.

Quiet, apart from some noisy neighbours and a delivery lorry on the first night. The bathroom is old-fashioned and needs updating. But bed was comfy and there was lots of hot water on tap. Cleaner was very good.
