Concord's Colonial Inn

The Inn was scrupulously clean throughout. Desk clerks were extremely friendly. the room was comfortable. It was a picture-perfect weekend for outdoor dining, which was handled well by the Inn.

I have always loved staying at the Colonial Inn, and they've made everything as workable and safe as possible during the time of the pandemic. We really appreciated the complimentary breakfast delivered to our room (M-F) and additional coffee as required! Plus a coffee for the road when we checked out. The only thing that was difficult this time was wifi: wouldn't you know the internet connection was unstable exactly during the time I needed to be in a meeting. . . . .

My overnight stay at the iconic Colonial Inn was pleasant and comfortable although my room was on a busy corner and there was quite a lot of street noise. It’s a short walk into the picturesque town center.

Such a nice and romantic place! The room was very comfortable (king size bed) and quiet. Beautifully arranged- It felt like stepping in the 1700s!- yet very comfortable. The only thing was there was no cabinet/ table in the bathroom to put our things on so we had to put them on the floor... other than that, absolutely perfect and the restaurant (we had dinner and breakfast there as well) was as satisfying!

The hotel is charming, clean, friendly, and most important the bed was very comfortable.

Great location! Friendly staff! Loved the restaurant porch seating. Called ahead and told them we were in the hotel and were quickly seated. Very clean and comfortable. Can walk to Old North Bridge, Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, lots of walking and biking trails. Short drive to Battlefield Road and Great Meadows. Will definitely return!

Great hotel filled with history, beds were great but could change out the pillows which are extremely hard. Food was great and in a great location to go exploring.

We needed a couple days away after working all summer non-stop and we thought Concord would be a lovely place and the Concord Colonial Inn a perfect retro stay. They said they were pet friendly, but when we arrived we were told pets were only allowed in the basement of the adjoining Prescott Wing--not in the main hotel. If that was bad enough, we could only stay on the first floor of the Prescott Wing, which is basically a basement with rooms that only had views of the road (5 feet from traffic) or the dismal parking lot. On top of that when we pulled back the covers to go to bed, there was a small bug in the bed. Yes, a bug. When we asked to switch rooms, they said they could only move us to another room on the same floor. To be completely honest, the gentleman at the front desk, Zachary, did the best he could and even comped our second night. This is not the way to run a hotel in any circumstances, but with the pandemic about, it just does not instill confidence that the hotel is truly taking care of its guests. Its unfortunate, as the facilities appear to be nice from the outside, but once you enter this place...beware!

The staff was exceptional warm welcoming and engaging

Beautiful area but did not get good sleep. Got put in room 301 where the double doors kept slamming every time someone went through them. Didn’t notice as much during day when we checked in bc we had TV on but we got woke several times before 7:30am whenever door slammed.. went downstairs at 7:30am & Wendy said she would have maintenance come up and fix it. I had to actually vocalize that at this point my sleep been ruined. She said ok we will take something off your bill. I asked her to be more specific as we had paid good money to have this type of experience, and she just said, “We are going to take some money off your bill.” Again I had to repeat myself, “Can you be more specific?” She huffs then goes behind the counter to look up my bill, and said, “Unfortunately since you booked through a third party, we can’t do anything.” ORBITZ, would you like to interject if this is true or not? Anyhow, I had mentioned we were planning to do breakfast here since I had breakfast here many times and it was always good but wasn’t feeling too great about my experience right then— and so she offered to take care of breakfast to which I said I was glad she was at least doing something..Fast forward to breakfast and we are still waiting for our meal.. and I have time to keep typing.. sigh.Since I have more time, shampoo and conditioner was good, sheets not as good as Marriott. The charm of the area is echoed in the hotel/ furnishing.I really wanted to love my first stay here. Want sleep
