Kimpton Hotel Vintage Portland

We had a lovely stay in the Urban Soaker room. I highly recommend this option. The hot tub is relatively private, but there are windows that can look down into the tub area. We love the restaurant, il Solito. It is absolutely delicious and a must go each time we visit Portland. The Fried Spaghetti is unique and delicious! Overall, this was a delightful stay, and we anticipate staying here in the future.

The front desk and house cleaning staff of the hotel were amazing. We had contacted the hotel prior to our arrival to advise them of some environmental problems we have. At checking in the front desk clerk knew about our problems and explained to us in detail all the cleaning and airing procedures they had performed in order to get our room ready for us. The Il Solito restaurent Everything was very nice except for the room climate control. The thermostat was not located in our main room but in the hallway leading into the bedroom and bathroom. Because of this it was slow to respond to actual room temperatures changes. When trying to heat the room up a couple of degrees it would over shoot the selected temperature and then it would turn on the a very cold air conditioner blast to try to correct the error. The main problem with this was that cold air blew right onto the bed making sleep a hot or cold punishment.

The hotel is targeting the younger crowed. Location downtown. Room on 4 th floor facing street had morning noice from street.

Loved both hotels The Heathman had a French press which was a great extra. Both have extra charm and comfort. Very clean and in the best parts of town. Great food and drink right in the hotel. Very helpful and down to earth staff.
