Ramada by Wyndham South El Monte

It’s good in general and worth the price but the hotel is close to freeway and a little bit noisy

Really comfortable although it could use some updating

The woman who checked me in was very pleasant, though there was no complimentary upgrade, but that’s not something to be expected. She had checked with the cleaning crew that they had just finished up in that room just as she was checking me in. When I first got into the room, supposedly right after it was cleaned, there were a few ants on the bathroom sink and counter, and stuff on the bottom of the jacuzzi tub. I did my own cleaning of the bath tub and I used my leave on conditioner spray to kill the ants. As I was cleaning off the dead ants, I noticed the sink drain was leaking and when I opened the cabinet doors the bottom of the cabinet was wet and moldy as if it’s been leaking for months. The faucet fixtures were cosmetically broken but still controlled the water. Annoying issues but manageable after I did my own attending to for cleanliness even though it was “just cleaned.” So I turned on the TV and ordered a pizza for dinner. The leftovers in the pizza box was placed in the room farthest from the sink that had the few ants. In the time it took me to go put the parking pass in my car and go literally right across the street to fill my car with gas and then park for the night, the pizza box was covered in ants and there was a gigantic trail of them across the whole counter. My stay was a waste of money, for the room upgrade, the food I had delivered, my hair product used as ant killer, and it wasted my energy on cleaning there room so I could try to feel comfortable.

Misleading add I had back surgery and l Booked this room to use the hot tub for therapy I paid checked in and room was nothing like pictures and no hot tub I called down and asked he said online does not show the option to get a hot tub room He said it was be over 150 extra on top of my already paid room I said fine I’ll take it and then he said sorry none available ! This was misleading wrong and I blame hotels .com I tried to contact them they never got back to me waste of my money and time and no compassion for a customer who was in excruciating pain

My room had spoiled milk, milk that had expired 3 days prior to arrivin,then I got moved but the counters were all sticky

My room had flies inside, the balcony door wouldn’t open plus my room’s phone wasn’t working. There is no wifi.

Im always satified when staying at this location

The place is kinda creepy needs lots of repairs ....no ammenities ....smells old an dusty. Front desk female rude person.

The room was dirty. Under beds had dirty rags overall we were so disappointed that we left to another hotel worst part of it was that you have to fight with them to only get SOME of your refund..

Check in was easy and we got the room we needed but they haven't updated this hotel probably since it was built and the carpet and bathroom tile was so stained it looked dirty even though it was fairly clean. Just drab overall. The beds were also hard so we woke up sore. My Mom ended up having to take a cold shower and the faucet wouldn't turn off completely. Wouldn't stay here again.
