Homewood Suites by Hilton Dallas-Irving-Las Colinas

We did not receive housekeeping the whole time we were there. The power went out,So we slept in a cold room, with no lights no electricity and with no hot water. All of our food we bought went bad in the refrigerator. I went to the front desk and They told me they can’t do anything because the whole building power went out not just our room.

Spacious suite, very nice. The only issue is they need to wash the blankets for the pull out. One of the blankets smelled like horrible body odor. I think they wash the sheets but not the blankets everytime.

The front desk was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The issue was with the couple in the room below as they were arguing, screaming, pounding on the windows and door for hours. The police had to come. It was very unsettling to my wife and I. We chose the hotel to have a "date" night out alone while the children stayed with grandparents .. we couldn't sleep for the screaming/pounding; we felt like packing up and leaving at 3am, but we were exhausted from being kept up. Our date night was ruined.

The room was nice. The bed very comfy to sleep on. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Would stay there again.

I stayed for 3 nights. From the phone conversation I had with Azariah(not sure the spelling) it was very pleasant, she was very informative. When I checked in she also assisted me and was extremely patient. I also had a wonderful experience with Kaila (I believe was her name) she works until 11pm. She was absolutely amazing, if I had questions about locations in the area or providing me paper towels or sheets. Just very accommodating. I miss seeing both of the ladies smiles and energy. I definitely will be staying upon my next visit.

Maria, the weekend front desk person is AWESOME. We stayed a few weeks and always dealt with her. She became like a friend and was very sweet and personable which we appreciated 😁

From the outside it looks nice. Keep in mind, the place is very spread out on the outside. From room to front desk is up and down stairs and around like a maze of bushes that is accessed from the outside so it is not secure or locked.The only thing that is gated is the pool area and the gate opened without a key.It is like an apartment building.Don't go here if you can't haul luggage up and down crooked stairs in the rain.The first night the front desk manager was very helpful and nice. Helped us with luggage to room.The same one was there our last morning of 3 day stay. Later that first night night the 2nd shift desk person had locked the door to the hotel lobby as we were coming back from store. (the hotel lobby does not connect to your rooms) We couldn't get in! Her and her friend let us in saying her ex bf was trying to access the building with threats! She had a friend with her and this issue took precedence over any hotel patron. Went there later, all of this drama still going on. Was afraid to even come back to lobby at all. Next night came to desk. Girl was in the back room with a guy. I stood waiting to get food and some towels.No one ever came to our room to offer towels or fresh linens. Next night there was a lady screaming at the front desk man, cursing him.Talk of calling police. Bad environment.Cleaning people leave bags of dirty sheets and towels laying in grass outside the rooms all night, even in the rain.Won't stay again. Was told this was a weekend thing.

Wonderful location!!! The lakes at Las Colima’s is beautifulRoom was clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the tub, but they fixed it, no problem! I am a personal trainer, and I MUST have somewhere to workout. While their gym is limited, the paved path around the lakes is optimal for running and jogging. Great restaurants all around too.

I was given a filthy room but immediately the girl at front desk changed my room. The 2nd room still had some mess in kitchen but easily cleaned myself. Manager did apologize and said he'd refund for the mess in room but it's going on 2 weeks and yet to receive it
