JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead

The website or the hotel never mentioned it was under construction. Lobby was closed, make shift lobby on second floor. Bar and lounge seating area was closed cause of construction also. House cleaning needs improvements for sure. The Burgess and Grand Hyatt were much bettter when I stayed in Atlanta previously.

Not a good visit it all. Finding the location was hard, parking was a nightmare. Payed fir a deluxe room but did not receive it and had to go to a lesser quality room than what I paid for. I’ve gotten over 30 rooms since March and this was by far the worst exotics had. And the most expensive. For the price I believe you can go to a much nicer hotel and have a better experience.

The hotel was under construction so there was some noises heard in the room and throughout the hotel. The room size was nice but didn’t have a full length mirror and we noticed the original towels we received, some were not fully cleaned. Parking was okay, couldn’t locate self park so opted for valet.

The hotel was great. Had the hot water worked, it would’ve been one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in

I was very disappointed with my visit. First, there is no concern about Covid at this facility. There were 40-50 people gathered at the entrance with no social distancing or masks. The hotel is under construction, yet no one told me until I checked in. They warned me that the construction could be loud. Unacceptable. There is no restaurant. There is a room set up with a table of liquor with someone to pour basic drinks. NOTHING nice, but they still charge $16 per drink. They put me in a room on a newly renovated floor, with very few guests. They had an entire floor for people and they put me right next door to someone else. I had to work late, so didn't get to the room until after midnight. At 4am, my neighbor has rap music cranked up. I call the front desk to complain. 20 minutes later, it's still crank up. I finally get back to sleep and the housekeeping service begins ringing the door bell at 9 and wakes me up again. In addition, it's hard to drive in and out of the hotel. I am in Atlanta a lot, but I will not be staying at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead again.

We lucked up and got a room that they had recently Renovated. It was beautiful and very clean

The bathroom floor was not clean. I wasn’t going to eat off it, but it was off putting to find hair and dust under the sink fixture. Also, their website describes a breakfast restaurant but all that was open was a very limited coffee bar.

The hotel was dirty and under a ton of construction. I am hoping hotels.com comes through with a refund.
