I booked this hotel for a 3 night stay. I received my usual email, how was yourscheck in. I was caught off guard, because my reservation should have been for the following week, Thanksgiving weekend. I looked at my reservation and saw that I had put in the wrong dates. I called hotels.com to find out what I needed to do to get my room rebooked for the following week. They were unable to get in touch with the manager and was told they would call me back the next day. Two days later, still no phone call so I called them back to check the status. There were no notes in the computer and the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about. They called the hotel to see about rescheduling my reservation and were told no, they can not change a reservation once it is made. I am now out $387 and have no reservation. Happy Thanksgiving to me and my family! I looked at the hotel myself and there were rooms available at the same price but they would not budge. I will no longer stay with a Holiday Inn Express because of their poor business practices and lack of customer service. I could understand them telling me no if I was only requesting a refund, but not when I wanted to reschedule with them the following week. I own a small business and travel and stay in hotels weekly. I know that the loss of my business is just a drop in the bucket to them, but word of mouth can hurt, hope it was worth it! Think twice before you book with this company you may be next.

We had no problem checking in our room the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the AC unit works great. The shower lacked pressure and I left behind a nightgown and swimsuit and asked for it to be shipped back they sent me a link to fill out and want to charge me $210 to ship my items back which is ludicrous. I also booked the room and thought it was $103 per night my total turned out to be 170+ so my charge was also wrong.

Every contact made with the staff was pleasant; our room was missing an iron and one was provided quickly, any interaction in the halls or elevator was always gladdening.
