Holiday Inn Chicago-Mart Plaza River North

We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn for a family wedding. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms, though needs update, were clean and comfortable. The location of the premise was ok. Overall our stay at this hotel was nice.

Hotel is so-so. Location is great, but the shower in my room didn't work. The water only came out the bathtub spigot; the diverter to the shower head was broken. Was there for two nights, I asked them to fix if but they never did. The blinds in the room were also broken. Other minor issues as well. Hotel isn't a disaster, but I felt like, for what I was paying, it should have been a bit better.

I loved the stay, we had an amazing river view and the hotel is conveniently located near the major tourist attractions. The hotel staff is friendly and quick to respond to any service requests.

Nothing fancy about the hotel rooms, but it’s in a good location and was one of the cheaper options. We were able to check in before 3pm which was nice. The room smelled like smoke. Nice bar and breakfast restaurant in the hotel.

This was our second time to stay at the HI MP and it was a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff at check in was friendly and helpful getting us checked in a little earlier than regular check in time. We also went to the bar and wow, what a great view! The bartender was very friendly and quick with a drink and with getting our food order in and served. We would stay again for sure.
