Paragon Hotel - Dubai

Room was nice for the price. Internet was decent, but horrible around 11pm to about 3am every single night. Could not even Skype during those times. The gym closes at 7pm every night, very odd. The restaurant was closed for an unknown reason and no national/international food chains with in 2 miles.

The Hotel was easy to locate even though it changed it's name to "PARAGON HOTEL". The picture in helped a lot with finding the hotel. Also the subway is very close to the hotel. Hotel staff were also very helpful and would attempt to go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. This is more of a solid 3.5star. Not a 4star by my experience. Rooms were a bit small but clean. Our room was facing the street so you could hear a lot of traffic outside at the dead of night. The windows perhaps weren't properly selaed. Was not too fond of the small glass partition over the tub that was supposed to prevent water from getting on the […] bathroom floor. Showering created a flood of water on the bath floor! These are al items that can be fixed or changed. The location was not too bad though, close to some shopping and food areas and the Al RIgga metro station. The hotel restaurant food food was really great though! That was a plus. The staff in restaurant were super nice too! We would look into another hotel if we return to Dubai, but if all else fails we would stay again! Lisateave

The hotel is located closely to the airport and is easily reachable within 10-15 minutes. Don't expect any taxi driver to know the hotel, but everyone knows the deira clocktower at the roundabout in close proximity. The hotel greets you with a well smelling lobby. The metro station is 400m away and many restaurants are reachable within walking distance. This makes up for the no bar and a relatively poor choice of snacks and meals. IMPORTANT: The hotel is a completely dry place. Not only do they serve no alcohol, they also prohibit you to consume any. You have to sign up for a 500 dhs penatly at checking in, in case you do not stick to the rules, so don't let the room service see any empty bottles.... Lisateave

Great hotel in greater area. We definitely recommend this hotel and the location. They allowed me and wife to check in 6 hours before check-in. The service of this hotel is truly outstanding! A++

Had free internet even though hotel info didn't say was free. Room was nice and clean. Right off main street. AC was cold, Internet was fast, TV was good. Would stay again. About 800m walk from the Rigga Metro Train stop.

Room exceeded all expectations. Clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. Free internet was really fast though most all voice over IP services were blocked as were some social media sites. Could not check email on cellphone with wireless but could with computer but could surf internet with phone only. Firstly, a very dissappointing check in. The Bellboy was manning the reception and I had to wait around 10 minutes until the clerk arrived. Then I get to check in, my reservation clearly requested a smoking room. When I arrive in my room, it say - non smoking. I get to the bathroom and the tub is so small I can hardly fit in it.. taking into account […] I am not one of the larges guys around weighing only around 77kg, so I can just imagine a 6 foot guy. Reception - "No sorry sir - this is a family hotel - no smoking is allowed as well as no alkohol" No short pants either -Visiting Dubai for a well deserved beer or 2,sorry not allowed in the hotel, sorry no we can not give you a smoking room. (It is Ramadan time -you are not allowed to smoke on the street during day time)So I checked out within 5 minutes after arriving, still getting charge the full 2 nights stay, although I did not even make use of their facilities.I get told, sort it out with Expedia, They have to charge me. I went 20 meters around the corner, found the Avenger Hotel, what a pleasure. Cheaper, more clean, full compliment staff, much better rooms, a Pub, a Restaurant, A Sauna, Swimming pool all I needed So Alhamra hotel, be assured, I shall spread the word in Saudi about your treatment, and If I can convince two prospective customers not to make use of you, then I shall have the pleasure of knowing I did you in with money as you did with me!! Room was nice and clean. Had a couple of wet spots on floor. Only gave one key so I was unable to cool room when I left. Great customer service and kind staff. Was not there long enough to take in all amenities, but can say room service was prompt and correct.

This hotel is great value for money. It is neat and well kept. All non-smoking rooms. Staff are great. All friendly and helpful. Room is super comfortable, it could be a little bigger. Only bad point is that there are only 3 english TV stations, but who comes to Dubai to watch TV. Great breakfast selection

Personeel was slecht. Wat er beloofd is niet nagekomen. Kamers zijn super klein vergeleken met wat er op de site staat. Voor mij never meer al hamra hotel. Service was super slecht.

We were three people but the third bed was a joke. It was 15 cm shorter than the person sleeping on it and did not live up to what you would expect of a bed in a hotel like that. Staff was not that great and we had to have our room "checked" by them before we were allowed to leave

İ like so much this hotel. But İ forgetten something my room. İ found just half my clothes. (İ found under bicini but İ didn't find bicini top and white esofman top. İ talked resevation desk no body call me. Also gone. But the hotel so clean,tidy and not so crowded inside. When İ back to again stay same hotel. But İ musn't forget anything.

スタッフの方はみなとても親切でフレンドリーでした。お部屋はとても清潔で快適でした。メトロの駅までは歩いて行けますがスーツケースがあると少し遠いかもしれません。空港からはタクシーですぐです。追加料金で空港へのピックアップもあります。次回ドバイに行くことになればまた泊まりたいと思います。

Small but Great! Service was great, food cheap and good, pool and gym small but good. Rooms are very nice and tidy! It's located in the Diera district, a district with offices and makrets. Many locals here, this means cheap restaurants and so on. Taxis from here to the center is very cheap. Can only recommend

The distance to the next metro station or to the shopping center is quite far when the temperature outside is of 45 degrees Celsius or more. In winter time this should be no problem.

nous avons été terrriblement decu par la chambre triple qui s avere etre une chambre double. Ce n etait donc pas de tt repos!!!!! l hotel n est pas fait pour les trio. la piscine est miniature et se trouve en haut du building. Neanmois le personnel reste super sympa
