Pearl's Key West - Key West

Our Queen room was great, our friends room (queen economy), was not. There room was a trird floor walk up, in the attic with little headroom. Pool area was fantastic. I would stay again. It is on the quiet end of Duval, which works for sleeping.

The hotel staff was so friendly. I loved that they had 2 pools, a hottub, an on-site (Very good) restaurant, and outdoor bar. Very short walk to Duval; quiet setting.

Weren't sure what we would get. Turned out very good. Very friendly, comfortable and easy going. Small rooms but just what we needed. Clean, convenient and good breakfast.

The air condition system was a bit loud and the Wi-Fi only in the common areas and even there a bit uneven, but all together I would go back

Pearls is close to the southernmost point and the beach. On the not so busy side of Duval St. Still close enough for us to walk to the busiest part of Duval and walk back. The hotel room was small but clean and nice. It has a nice little bar area and pool. The Sangria at the bar was pretty good. :) Hotel staff was very friendly. I would stay again.

Our room was rather small, but the facility does have larger rooms. The facility itself was very pleasant. Food is available in site. There are several private court yards with pool or hot tub. I would definitely stay there again.

The quality of service and friendliness of the staff were excellent. Great breakfast and charming, old Key West feel to the hotel. Lovely setting in the pool and spa areas and comfortable bar on site. Not knowing what to expect I was very pleasantly surprised. While only steps away from the "madness" of Duval St., once you stepped inside the gate we entered a peaceful, intimate space by the pool/bar area, nicely landscaped and comfortable with sun and shade spots available. Separate outdoor smoking/non-smoking areas. Great breakfasts in the dining […] room (best omelets ever). The room was clean but small, okay for a 2-night stay but would get pretty crowded for a week. The grounds and pools where spotless. The lobby and breakfast room was spotless. My room and the bed needed updating. The staff was so nice and made sure that my vacation was lovely. They upgraded my room to make sure I was comfortable. A better group of people you could not find. The location was superb.

The reviews I read about Pearl's were very good and my experience confirmed their reliability. The staff that I dealt with was very professional, helpful, and hospitable. My room was very nice and more than adequate for the price. If I were going back to Key West, I would definitely consider staying again at Pearl's.

It is in a good location. The attic rooms gave plenty of opportunities to crash your head. Wi-fi was adequate.

We had am amazing stay at Pearl's. We had a gueen size guest room which at times got cramped but manageable. We really didn't spend much time in the room other than to sleep, change and get ready. The grounds were nice with two pools and two hot tubs, they were always clean and had plenty of sun chairs around. We did the breakfast plan with our mea,l […] totally worth it, food was always amazing and really cut down on our food bill during our stay. We really enjoyed our time at Pearl's and loved the atmosphere and that it was for adults 21 and over. The staff was always outstanding and so willing to help. Lisateave

Just finished participating in the Key West Ragnor Relay and this is where I had booked my room through expedia. The rest of the team was staying at the SouthernMost Hotel which was one block over. I loved the Pearl! It was a very quaint hotel, more like a bed and breakfast. My room was on the third floor and very charming. It was perfect for one person, […] but if my husband had joined me, it would have been crowded...especially with the slanted ceiling. Staff was very helpful. Location of the hotel was wonderful, 1/2 block from Duval Street and 1/2 block from the water. Definitely would stay there again! Lisateave

My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the location. Great little spot and and is warm and inviting. Nice little outdoor bar area and 2 smaller pools to relax in. The room we stayed in was okay. It was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. The bed was the only thing that needed to be replaced in the room as it was to soft and I woke up […] with tight back for quite a few days during and after our stay. Cute place, full of character. Great bar and poolside jacuzzi. The breakfast was the most amazing ever! Fresh orange juice and lovely coffee; perfect sausage and scrambled egg in an English muffin with diced fried potatoes on the side and a fresh fruit cup.. Awesome!!! Wish we had stayed longer!

The staff were all super friendly, the room was very comfortable, and I can't say enough about the breakfast! We stayed during the Christmas season, and I had the special of the day... eggnog cranberry pancakes. I've never had better pancakes anywhere. Yum!! And for other meals, you couldn't do better than Duffy's, just a couple of blocks away.

Pearl's offers amazing customer service, a friendly staff and is an overall great place to stay. It is very laid back, friendly and if you are traveling alone, other guests will talk to you and invite you out with them. They create an amazing atmosphere there that is welcome and fun. I would highly recommend it. The only thing I didn't like is that […] my pillows felt flat (they were normal hotel pillows, not the ones from home if you like big overstuffed ones like I do) and they don't have regular toiletries like soap in the rooms. Instead they have gym styled soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. I was allergic to the scents they have as well so it was not comfortable to use them. They also do not sell toiletries like toothpaste if you need them. They'll say to walk to CVS, but there is a little local store much closer to them that you can find it at. I would definitely recommend it. It's close to everything and you'll love the guests and staff. Lisateave

Pearl's has a charming atmosphere; it's more comfortable than just a hotel room. There is room to roam between the outside and inside areas; a big dining room where they cook you breakfast; a couple of pools and hot tubs and a great bar out back with great bartenders. We wrapped up each night after a full day in Key West there and met a lot of nice […] people each night. The room was small, but very clean and had a refrigerator, air conditioning, a fan, a bed and bath and a window to let the sun in in the morning...that's all we needed. All of the staff are really nice there. The location is very good, because it's close to the Southernmost beach and bar and close to Deval. There's a small grocery store, restaurants, drug store and liquor store all within a couple of blocks too, so you never have to walk far out of your way if you forget something. Two very nice heated pools and two very nice whirlpools all of which were open 24 hrs. Also nice onsite bar with reasonable drink specials every day. Staff was very nice and friendly. Only downside was a small room and a small shower but since we're only in the room to sleep and shower that wasn't a super big issue.

The hotel has a lot of character and is well situated, just half a block off Duval. The building was originally a cigar factory and was successfully transformed into a hotel. There are several heated pools as well as hot tubs. We had the cheapo room, which was very small and a bit challenging if you're tall (slanted ceiling). The A/C cannot be controlled […] so it would likely be very hot in the room in the summer but was OK now (end of November). Overall, the stay was OK, however, there were a few issues: - the mattress needs to be replaced as it hangs through in the middle - if you are unlucky and have inconsiderate hotel guests, it is noisy - i.e. you can hear everything outside your rooms (we had to witness a breakup drama between two Italian men at 5AM...) - even though the room was prepaid, they still make you sign for $100 on your credit card and when you check out, they say that it has been "released". They don't give you any kind of receipt for that and you are told that you just have to trust them that you will not be charged. An odd thing to do - other hotel just run through your credit card but don't ask you to sign. Apart from these issues, they are very nice, offer you a welcome Sangria and serve you a good breakfast. Pearl's is a cute place. It fits in nicely in Key West. The people are very nice and friendly. The place has tried to make the jump to mainstream travelers from a lesbian client base. It hasn't quite gotten their yet. It's close, but I still feel this place is more suited to female travelers. With that said, my girlfriend and I had absolutely no issues […] as a straight couple there. We were very welcomed by the staff. On the room, I felt the room was a little too smallMy girlfriend was OK with the room size (She likes cute, little places), but I like a little more elbow room. There was a shared refridgerator in the hall for everyone to use. I was worried about us keeping stuff in there at first, but it worked out OK. Lisateave

Overall, Pearls is a nice place. The room we had was small. Which is fine, because most of the time we were out. A chair other than the bed would have been nice. Our section had 3 rooms and a full size kitchen that was available for us to use which was nice. 2 pools...hot tub patio bar. Was very clean and definitely an ADULT only place! A block off […] Duval, but all the way at the end, so to go Mallory Square was quite a hike. Recommend getting bikes or a scooter. Lisateave

The hotel is at a very good location, close to the bars, clubs, shore and serve good breakfast, but that's all the positive things. The room was stink when we arrived, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, you could not sleep if it was on. The furnitures and the room and the corridor was really old stylish and the bathroom was not as clean as I expect […] from a hotel and the whole hotel should be refurbished. They have no 24-hour reception, so you have to notify them in advance if you arrive late or leave early. The staff at Pearl's was wonderfully helpful, very solicitous, and friendly. I would go back just for that. But, the complimentary breakfast was very, very good, also; so, there's a second reason. We choose Pearl's because of the location. It's two blocks from the Southernmost Point and one block from Duval Street. Probably a ten minute walk to the Hemingway House and Lighthouse Museum. We were greeted by a staff member who gave us a detailed tour of the property. My husband has a visual problem and I had requested a room on the first floor. […] We got a room closest to the bar and pool. Literally right outside our door! The pools and hot tubs were very clean. Bar had happy hour specials and food was very good. We booked a room that included breakfast each morning. It was served till noon. Small, well kept bed and breakfast that we would recommend. It was overall really nice experience. Staffs are very friendly and helpful, great breakfast, beautiful pool and neat room. The location is a little bit off center of the busy area, but totally walkable. The room is a little bit small and our room conditioner is making some noise, but not too bad.

Great spot to stay if your looking for a quiet small place to relax. No kids. Adults only. Close to everything......Rooms are small, but perfect for what we look for. Grounds are very well kept, 2 pools, hottubs, bar. Would stay there again without any problem.
