Very clean hotel in a nice area. Courteous staff; wonderful LARGE room with very comfy bed. Highly recommend.

Nice and clean room, service was not up to the mark. When asked for extra blanket, was told to get it myself from exception as the reception was alone.

The bedroom was not sound proof I could hear the guest next to us talking all night.

the big problem was the lack of TAXI service to get to the airport-when checked in they said it would be 5 minutes in the morning so no need to arrange before--but 30-35 wait was told to me in the am!! would have missed plane--thanks to the attendant in the breakfast room who drove me in his car!! no food place close that are open late and no menues […] to order in the room--they need a shuttle from airport Lisateave

Sleeping Was a problem on the second night apparently there was a party Of some kind making it impossible to sleep

Great Hotel in a great location. The dinner meal at the hotel (that was included) was amazing....it was a full dinner, not just a "light meal" as advertise. I will stay her again

Although my stay was very short, I was very impressed with the hotel and the coziness of the room. The bed linens were very soft and comfortable. The bed itself was a little too soft for my preference, but that's not a big deal. I would definitely stay there again!

Excellent facility. The hotel is new, the rooms are well appointed. Full Kitchen is nice. Nice breakfast each morning. Easy access and friendly staff.

Very nice hotel. Short drive to Carowinds Amusement Park. Breakfast was very good! I'd definitely stay here again! It didn't get all those stars for nothing.

From the moment of check in, we felt welcomed. The suite was incredibly spacious and spotless, beds were comfortable, and breakfast was delicious with LOTS of seating. Highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I offer go to Charlotte for our short getaways. This area was perfect for us. A lot of great shopping within 20-25 mins, great food options all around. The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and the cleaner was very good. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Within walking distance to restaurants (Harry's was great) and shops and a movie theater. Only a few minutes drive to Carowinds. The hotel was very comfortable and very clean!

This hotel was exceeding clean and welcoming. My wife and I stayed in a king studio for one night, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The only issues that we encountered were small, however, there were very limited choices for breakfast. There were also a lot of pre-teens staying at the hotel the same night that we were (some conference or something) […] and the noise level was TERRIBLE. You couldn't get near the pool, the hallways were congested with kids running around, and you could hear constant footfalls from the running outside of your door. So while we were expecting a nice, peaceful stay, it was anything but. I realize thats not really the hotel's fault, its just not what we were expecting at all. Lisateave

We highly enjoyed our stay at Homewood Suites. The location is close to local shops, restuarants, and the movies. We recommend this location for anyone to stay... everyone was great.

First time staying in a Homewood Suites hotel and really liked it. I would book a room again. I only had breakfast but I heard from other guests the dinners were good. The neighborhood was great, slightly off the road but close to the movie theater and several dining spots.

A huge value for the money

The room was very spacious and well appointed. We didn't use the kitchen or living room very much or venture out to the pool, since we only stayed one night, but the extra space was greatly appreciated! The room was exceptionally clean! Front desk staff were very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. The hot entrees were sausage, […] egg and cheese biscuits (very good) and hash brown potatoes. They also had tea/coffee, juices, muffins, cereal, yogurt, fruit, and various "toastable" items. The bonuses are the late (12pm) checkout time, free Wi-Fi, and free parking! My only gripe is that the windows do not have heavy blinds that close all the way, which means we had sun streaming in at 6am and no way to block it out! This was made worse by our east-facing window overlooking the pool. If they could fix this, we'd happily stay again! Lisateave

The only problem I encountered was the fact that my curtains didnt fully close yet outside my window was a fully lit courtyard and pool area. It made my room very bright and I barely got any sleep.The electric bill must be outrageous. It didn't make any sense to me why it would be that way.

Great hotel and rooms. Only downside is that it's in the flight path of Charlotte airport, along with all the other hotels in that area. Less than 1 mile form the Microsoft training center.

I was looking for a one night getaway and Homewood Suites exceeded my expectations. I'm normally "iffy" about hotels because I am somewhat of a germaphobe but this place is amazingly kept. This is was an excellent hotel to stay in. Through Hotels.com, it was priced very well for what it offers. I purchased the Deluxe Suite and it was like a miniature apartment. The ONLY issue I had with Hotels.com is that they advertise the rooms as having fireplaces and I am surprised that no one has said otherwise in their reviews. There ARE NO fireplaces […] in the individual rooms at ALL. BUT there is one in the lobby ONLY. Other than that, I would love to stay in this hotel again. Lisateave

The only complaint I have with my stay was there were two of us in the room and one of us had to leave before the other one. I called down to get late check out and for some reason they showed me for already being checked out. They had even turned my key off. I would hope that this doesn't happen to everyone.
