Arrived to be told that the building we had booked had suffered water damage. The substitute room we were provided was poorly maintained with cobwebs and dusty furniture. The room was accessed by elevator and at one point, a staff member entered the room without notice.The desk clerk took a phone call after greeting us and kept us waiting for five minutes […] while she engaged in that phone conversation. At that point I interrupted and asked if she would please complete our transaction and put the call off in the interim. She did then tell the person on the end of the line that she had a customer waiting and had to go. Hung up then told us it was her boss calling and she had to take the call. Lisateave

the rooms are nothing like what is shown here. it is difficult to locate and requires carrying your luggage through town to get to accommodations. very disorganised, i will stay ever again at their property

The little apartment we were in was fine, the staff very friendly and helpful, but for the price the room could have been better. Great shower, kitchen was a toaster and a microwave - i had expected more than this but it did us fine. Good location, but really anywhere around the old city or close to Plaza Catalunya is likely to be a good location. For the amount they charge per night the room given was small, the kitchen appliances were poor and the door into the room narrowly misses the bed. We were luckily on the first floor, the stair case is a death trap, if you have a big case or want to drink at night, I wouldnt recommend staying here. No doubt it is a beautiful city. The narrow staircase made it unpleasant to go to the room as often. The room is way to expensive for the condition. No toilet treats were offered and coming into the room twice in a week was a bit to much, not to stay in the hotel again.

We had high expectations for the apartments. When we arrived the room was clean and just like the photos online. Also the location is fantastic, walking distance from las ramblas and many other attractions. In addition, the Internet only worked for about one hour for our whole four night stay, and when we asked the front desk about it they didn't much. The apartments-in-Barcelona are a great way to spend a few days in this magical city. The location is superb. Even in late November, the neighborhood can be quite noisy. If you're catching an early morning train to Poblet that can be a problem; on other days you can roll with it. You are in central Barcelona after all!

We got given quite a big apartment which was lovely and clean. The room was very modern and the building old but pretty. The staff, Raj and Chanda, were friendly and helpful. We stayed in Juame 1. The apartment was clean, fresh sheets and towels supplied every day. The service was excellent even though we arrived at 11pm. The amenities in the apartment were good - refrigerator, air con, hair-dryer etc. The apartment was ideally located in the gothic quarter within walking distance to the beach and port area and the La Rambla […] area. We were very disappointed with this hotel. There were three of us staying in what we thought was going to be a one bedroom suite. The price is right for a room here...it is in a good location close to the Metro and within walking distance of most of Barcelona's historical sites, markets and the sea. The best part about this hotel was its convenient location, half a block from the Jaume I metro station in the Gothic quarter. Another plus was the relatively large room with kitchenette, roomy enough for two adults and a teenager. This was unit #8 on the 4th floor. Other rooms might be different sizes. Some people have complained about a difficult […] staircase and lack of an elevator. My room, at least, was served by an elevator, so I didn't use the stairs. Not sure whether all rooms can be accessed by elevator. The biggest drawback was noise. Each evening around midnight, garbage and street cleaning trucks came through. It sounded like they were in the room with me! Also, loud people in the streets and bars near the hotel could be heard well past midnight, even on weeknights. Barcelona is a charming city, but very densely populated. Apartment is tiny, but charming and has everything that you need - small refrigerator, hair dryer and micro wave. Our room even had a tiny balcony that we used for breakfast and drinks. Location is convenient to metro, small grocery, even an organic grocer, beautiful pastry shops. Lovely cobblestone […] streets and very safe neighborhood with lots of great restaurants and tapas bars. The only drawback to this lovely aprtment is the noise level from the street. You will hear noise all night long and forget holiday or sporting events, plan to run the air-conditioning or the kitchen fan to drown out the sound. The beds are platform, very hard and creak when you move. The staff is warm and friendly, they will help you plan out trips and suggest places to eat. Be aware that the office is only staffed 10 AM to 3AM and the office is around the corner from the apartment address, so checking in can be a bit confusing. Cathedral is nearby, you can walk to the beach, and Las Ramblas. Don't miss La Boqueria, a fabulous market for fish, fruits and vegetables as well as great places to eat. Would stay here again.
