Stoneridge Mountain Resort - Canmore

Another fabulous stay at the Stoneridge! Pool fun and such a relaxing time in the suite! Can't wait to go again to unwind! Suite was clean and had everything we needed and more! Staff were fabulous and treated us like gold!

Even after seeing pictures and reading reviews, the Stoneridge Mountain Resort far exceeded my expectations. It was so clean and maintained so well that it was like we were the first ones to ever stay there. The king bed was very comfortable and there were many pillows, all were of different thicknesses and densities so we both were able to find the […] perfect one to sleep on. The bathroom was spectactular! We could both get ready in the mornings without bumping in to each other. If we would have remembered that there was a dvd player in the living room we would have brought some shows from home, but we did find a place in town that rents movies/tv shows. It was the perfect getaway and we will be coming back here. I can't say enough great things about this place.... it was absolutely fantastic! Lisateave

One of several large condo complexes on the Bow Valley Trial, StoneRidge has all the conveniences, plus the luxury of a pool and hot tub in an inner courtyard, but lacks mountain ambiance (unless your room has a view other than the windows of your neighbours). The service is very friendly and helpful, and the off-season rates reasonable.

The size of the suites is outstanding, nice to sit in front of the fireplace and relax. Beautiful finishings in living room, Bedroom and Bathroom. Very nice resort for the value, will definitely stay here again

Very clean and spacious unit. We went with high expectation and this hotel met our expectations. Staffs were friendly. Location is convenience.

The hotel ammenties (lobby, pool and exercise room included) as well as the rooms are very nice. The cleanliness of the room could have been improved - there was hair in the tub and an empty pop bottle on the floor when we arrived. Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff (not as easy to find and as common as you may think), perfectly clean. Not one complaint. Will stay here everytime we go skiing. We had 8 people staying in 3 rooms. Everyone was happy, loved the heated outdoor pool and the hottub, they were quite busy but it is ski season. Easy to grab towels from the front […] desk and they even give you plastic cups for your drinks rather than just banning them around the pool all together like most places. Lisateave

Very nice location. Appreciated all the commodities. Cleaning service lacked a little but overall, we were very satisfied of the resort. Would go back without hesitation. Very comfortable room.

Great room, lovely ambience. If you are going away for a quiet couple weekend, be aware that the noise from the pool travels and children LOVE the pool. Only other issues were noise related. The loud fan that randomly turned on in the middle of the night and was extraordinarily loud for a new property. I decided to book at this resort with my daughter because we just wanted a week-end out of Calgary to spend time together and the resort exceeded our expectations! We had a two bedroom luxurious suite, each with its own full bathroom, comfortable king size beds, cozy fireplace, living room, kitchen and dining room. More than enough space for two people […] and an outside patio where we BBQd a delicious dinner. We will certainly are looking forward to come back to the Stone Ridge Mountain Resort and we have already recommended to our friends Lisateave

Our stay was very comfortable at Stoneridge, although our son said the pull-out sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. That being said, our king size bed was very comfortable! Everything else such as service, cleanliness, amenities, etc. was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

We were looking for a nice romantic night getaway, to celebrate a birthday, and just get away from the city. Sometimes Banff can be a bit pricey for rooms so we looked in to Canmore. We were able to check in early and head to Banff for a stroll and went tubing at Norquay (highly recommend this activity). We also took full advantage of our in suite kitchen […] and that each unit has a bbq. The outdoor hot tub and pool were also a nice treat after our outdoor activities. I highly recommend this resort. as for a mountain view....you are surrounded by mountains what the point on staying in your room and looking at them when you could be outside truly enjoying them! It was a lovely facility. Only complaint was we were on the second floor and had a family with children above us who were up and running VERY early. Sound proofing was not so hot. Staff very friendly.

Stoneridge is a spacious and well-designed serviced condominium complex just off the main highway in Canmore which is an agreeable and well-served town. It is convenient for the national park and ski areas but a bit of a trek to Lake Louise and main centres and lacks the charm of Banff ,say, but the size and price of available accommodation is generally […] better as a consequence. Stoneridge itself is very good and service,amenities ,parking at even the busiest time of year, and staff are also very good. There is no restaurant or bar although that is of limited concern given amenities available in Canmore and the self -sufficient nature of the accommodation.Our room, a single suite with den, was enormous and very comfortable. Fittings and furnishings are of middling to good quality and a bit tired in some cases through use although more than adequate and perfectly acceptable for a holiday. My only gripe would be that portion control and utensils are clearly regarded as a precise science and taken to extreme degrees in terms of limitation. There was only one set of crockery and cutlery for four people for example which mean't that apart from the last day when we were required to we could not have filled or made use of the dish-washer if we had even wanted to, which seems pointless. In France for example rented accommodation of this type would require an an additional full set of cutlery and crockery to be supplied for precisely this reason if a dish washer was also supplied. Cooking utensils were similarly limited which apart from restricting full use of the available culinary facilities mean't that it was difficult to use the cooker and microwave without creating a mess (for someone else to have to clean) due to the lack of covered cooking containers or spare crockery even if care was taken which again seems pointless and counter-productive. So a very nice place and easy to recommend as quality and service are very good and pricing is competitive. It is just a pity Lisateave

One of the most. memorable stays in a hotel I have ever had. Will be back for sure.

Our experience there was great. Hotel was clean and staff were excellent. Our suit was massive and very modern. My only complaint is that the noise levels coming from above us (minor) and from the hallways (was quite noisy). This could be solved with better doors or better seals around doors. My new husband and I decided to stay at the Stoneridge Mountain Resort for our honeymoon because of it's close proximity to the Banff National Park. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the rooms are, and the view from the hotel. The staff was very accomodating and pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay here again!! The hotel was clean, the staff were fantastic, and the room was absolutely unreal!! I can't wait until our next visite! I know the next time we are in Canmore, it will be here that we stay again! Thanks again for everything!

We loved our stay. The hotel is modern, cozy and pleasant. We asked for a mountain facing room, and payed a small charge for the upgrade. It was beautiful (though a little noisy from the road). I would ask for a room facing the pool next time! The pool area was awesome. It was a cold weekend, and the outdoor heated pool and hottub felt like a little […] spa getaway! I stayed at the hotel with three friends. It was very spacious,the hot tub and pool were great.loved the fireplace and TV . I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

We had a terrific stay at the hotel. The room was excellent - well laid out and roomy. All the ammenities you need. The suite was very clean and the service was great- the front desk called a little while after we got settled to see if the room was satisfactory and to ask if there was anything he could assist with. I specify an "upper level mountail view" suite at time of booking, At check-in the person checked us in said all the rooms are mountail view an give us a first level room with no mountain view. I do not think it was funny. I am not happy and will not go back to the Stoneridge. I will not risk telling my friends and find out they were treated the same […] way. Simply great hotel with all the mod cons you could ask for even a barbeque on the deck. Luxurious accomadation in superb location with unrivaled views couldn't say anything negative about our stay wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend to others as know there would be no disappointments.

Room was great but the view was terrible. My suggestion would be to specifiy a view of the mountains when you book. I wish we would have specified. We couldn't change rooms because there wasn't any other rooms available. Other than the view the room was first rate.

Great condo with nice amenities. Didn't use pool or fitness areas-no time because of all other attractions. Low internet signal in our condo, but dedicated modem installed next day to fix problem. Informative, helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Enjoyed the fireplace. Will stay here again.

Very nice room , clean.Only suggestion is to ask for a room that doesn't face road if you dont like road noise, but you will lose a great view as well.

We were extremely happy with the discounted price. The resort upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with fireplace, bbq, balcony, and lots of room to move around. The only minus for us was the master bed was extremely soft and we woke up with sore backs. We should of tried the second bed, I just didn't want the maid to have to clean 2 rooms so I didn't try […] it out. Lisateave

Very nice hotel, off the main highway and only 20 min to Banff. Had a full kitchen, nice patio with a bbq.

I was very disappointed with our booking. I booked this suite on-line in advance of our trip to the Banff area. Once we were checked in I realized they had given us the worst location in the building, right above the garage door for the underground parking at the front of the resort. You could hear the door going up all night long. This building is […] not sound proof even though it is a new build. Noise between the units and from the hall can be heard very clearly as well. Upon voicing our concern to the front desk we were given another room and I will always ask to see the room before checking in in the future. Also there is no restaurant in this resort. Great hotel in Canmore. Rooms are very large and new. Beds are so comfortable. Pool and inner courtyard area is lovely.

very nice condo, bedroom a little small, but loved the king bed and air cond/furnace a little loud. beautifully decorated, furnished, etc, kitchen could have a few more utensils, etc, overall, will most likely return.

It was a great experience, I wish the staff was more friendly but other than that, everything was awesome. OOhh Maybe a flatter pillow for me instead of all those fluffy pillows.

The lobby was dissapointing, but the rooms are spectacular. Pool area is great, although more loungers needed. Needs a restaraunt of some kind, which I understand is coming. Should have dishwasher detergent for manual cleaning of dishes. We ran the dishwasher for just a few dishes, which seemend like a waste.
