It was great.
A/C not working properly
Front lobby staff very helpful and considerate. We stayed in a 1BR unit. This room was by far the smallest unit I have stayed in at a "resort". The room was clean but the carpet was stained and the furniture and decor was aged. The entire "resort" could use some beautification
"Myrtle Beach getaway"
Pleased with the room and amenities. Close to my favorite spots. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff.
I thought the price was reasonable for the stay. It is an older condo but had no cleaning,condo fees, etc. added to the daily stay price and it was in good shape. Employees were friendly. Indoor pool was also very nice. I would stay there again and recomend to my friends.

"Perfect for the SOS weekend!"
We had an amazing time. We were extremely surprised by the size of the room...much larger than what we expected. Last year we stayed at a nearby condo highrise and the room at the Peppertree was SO much roomier, more comfortable, and had an amazing view of the beautiful ocean! We go to North Myrtle Beach every spring and fall for SOS (shag dancing convention), […] this is where we will stay from this time forward. Very convenient to everything. Bring your own drinks, there is no drink machine on site. Lisateave
Staff was very pleasant. Our key didn't work to the room they replaced it with no questions or issues.
Room was great, only compliant was the horrible mattress on the sleeper sofa and extremely small balcony! overall the room and staff were Great. Would definitely stay again just not on the sleeper :O

Other than the fact it was a drive from the South Myrtle beach, it was a awesome stay. Especially for the price!!! The rooms were clean & the bathrooms were stalked with plenty of towls. The service desk had beach chairs you could also rent out for a day for only $5. One ice machine was located on every floor for easy access for ice. One thing I could […] have saw a improvement on was the pool and hot tub spot. I walked in and could hardly breathe due to all the clorine and humidity from the hot tub. I'm sure opening up a window or two would treat this problem right away. Clean beaches & beautiful weather! I would recommend this stay to all my friends and family visiting Myrtle Beach this summer. "Cheap but not that nice"
The place seems really old and has an old smell to it. the room seemed recently remodeled and was quite comfortable but the outside appearance is very poor. My daughter loved the pools and being on the beach. Also, one night, someone was setting off fireworks on the beach which is illegal and I called the front desk because it was scaring my daughter. […] the guy that answered didn't really care and didnt sound very professional. Lisateave
"Never stay here"
I got there and did not get the room i paid for. It took 1 hour to get checked in, and i was the only one at the front desk. I would not let my dog stay here. It was that bad. I got no help in getting the room i paid for. I check out on Thrusday April 5th and would not stay there if that was the only hotel in Myrtle Beach. David
Nice facility located on beach situated between 2 high rise buildings.
Although this hotel was older, the rooms were nice and comforable. It was all that we needed as a family especially for the price.

Great family room & very affordable. Only complaint was they had HD TV but no HD service. We didn't really watch tv so it was ok.

very great staff and a very comfortable stay! excellant place!
We would have liked a tv in the second bedroom. Also we would have liked the convenience of a washer and dryer in our condo. The staff was very nice and helpful. the location was terrific. If you have a handicapped person in your party, the 6th floor is not very convenient due to having to go up and down the ramp.

"It stinks and you have to clean it."
For some reason the staff takes their cigarette breaks outside of my room and the odor hits you everytime you leave the room. The entire motel has an ashtray smell. You have to clean your own room or get fined $200 in addition to your room rate, which wasn't that good. There were a lot of stupid rules and regulations unlike regular motels, like a $75 […] charge if you got locked out late at night. Wifi was awful. It took 6 hours to watch a 2 hour movie on netflix. Room was cramped and TV positioned so you couldn't even see it from the bed. This was a terrible experience and I will NEVER go back to this dump again. Lisateave
"Peppertree by the Sea- great location"
Very friendly staff, nice updated kitchen, bedroom was on the small side though. The balcony was nice, but so narrow we had to turn our chairs sideways to sit out there. Good restaurants within walking distance.

The only thing I found wrong with the room is that the bed room dont have a tv in it.

When we first got to the hotel they were doing work to the office but yet only had one sign on the one door where they were at. Which wasn't convenient since they had like 4 original signs stating where the original office was. Then I didn't like the fact that we we're basically given a chore list that we have to do the day we are leaving and had to […] be out at 10am where other hotels are at 11 Lisateave

"Horrible"
I've stayed at a bunch of places. This is by far the worst place I've ever had the misfortune of staying at. The room was nasty, since they don't have house keeping in the winter. The air didn't work. The manager was clueless. If this was the only place to stay I would just stay home!
"GREAT LITTLE PLACE !!"
This is a great place to stay. I loved it !! It is small, but was perfect for me. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying there again. The staff was super nice. Only problem I had was the parking lot filled up at night and I didn't have a parking spot. Still give it a 5 star and will be back !!

"Small bedroom, still good deal."
No major complaints regarding this hotel, right on the beach. Bedroom is really very small (no space for a suitcase), the kitchen has just enough utensils. But for the price, it's a good deal. Located in North Myrtle Beach, 20' from Myrtle Beach itself.
heat would not turn off something wrong with unit. no maid service, on new years eve night some girl got here pocket book stolen in myrtle beach and could not get into her unit. police were called and we could not find anyone to answer their phone. it was 3am and we had julie's number but her mailbox was full. should have some kind of emergency number listed […] somewhere. we just did not have a good experience at this hotel. "Peppertree is the one for me"
This place was awesome. It was nicely furnished with updated furniture, carpet, and paint. The kicthen was well stocked so that we could make meals in the apartment. The staff put together a great to do list. I'd definately stay there again.

My wife and i took this trip as a little get away and it was awful the staff was rude from the time of check in till we was gone like we was a bother we had to go get our own towls just a bad place to stay
"First time staying here"
The location right on the beach is nice, the pool is on the small side, the fitness room is not all that great. I cannot imagine the indoor pool area when the condo units are full.

The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is very, very small. Perfect if there are only 2 people in your party. The guy at the service desk was very nice (Tim). I don't think I will be staying here again. My party is always bigger than 2 people. We were able to make the best of it though. It didn't stop us from having a good time.

We had a good stay. It's not really a hotel it's a condo/ time share so you have to clean it yourself and take out the trash. The bedroom is kind of small but the location is great. It dose not hurt that It's on the beach a with a great view. Full kitchen is nice too. But don't oversleep a check out time because they charge 25$ an hour per hour past […] check out. "Peppertree By the Sea, Myrtle Beach"
The hotel was neat and clean upon arrival. It was an "off" weekend, so not very busy and not crowded. The pool and spa area were inside and nice to have on the cool evenings. The room was exaclty as I was told it would be, which sometimes it isn't. However, I had requested a late arrival and was not able to physically check in until the next morning. […] Did not know ahead of time that there was a fee for late check in. Also did not know that we had to clean the room before we could check out, meaning that we had to remove all linens from the beds, remove trash etc. These are things that I would think housekeeping should do. We probably would stay again, since we now know what to expect. Overall, not a bad place to spend a weekend. Lisateave
