The location of this hotel is perfect. A little far from a metro station, but not bad at all. Many of the major sites are well within walking distance, if walking isn't your thing, then there's a bus stop within a block of the front door. We had a large & quiet garden-view room (actually no garden, just roof) on floor 1. Each staff member at the reception desk spoke English. The hotel was in good condition, comfortable, had WiFi throughout, and was spotlessly clean. Our continental breakfast came at a small cost (by Paris standards) and consisted of freshly-squeezed orange juice, café […] au lait, a croissant, a roll, butter, and assorted jams. The hotel is on the left bank of the Seine in a very safe area near many good bistros. The Metro and city buses are directly across the river, while the RER (to Versailles) was down the block at the d'Orsay Museum. Every hotel guest I spoke with was enjoying their stay, and we will definitely return with confidence. Lisateave

Right across the River from Le Louvre. We felt it was within walking distance to most other major sites. Just down the street is the Museé d'Orsay. Didn't try the food in bar but two doors down is Le Voltaire with excellent food, little pricey. Our room looked right out onto the river. Street noise was never a problem, but might be during summer months. […] Basic room but why stay in your room when in Paris? Staff was VERY helpful. English was good with most. If you are looking for a spacious (by Paris standards), quiet, clean room, great breakfast (not included in price of room) and friendly service in a central location in Paris, then this is the hotel for you. Amentities include free Wyfi throughout the hotel; a small cozy bar where guests tend to gather around 6 p.m. to have an appertif; newspapaers […] and magazines in various languages available at no cost; very comfortable, quiet lounge separate from registration area; and breakfast available at a very reasonable (comparatively) price with eggs as an (unusual European) option. Quiet rooms are located on the backside overlooking a courtyard. Twin beds are usually located in a larger room than a double. Bathrooms are modern and generallly good in size. Mattresses vary in quality. Ask for what is important to you and they will accommodate you if at all possible. Many restaurants, brassiers and cafes nearby. Most reasonable in cost are located 15 min walk away in the Latin Quarter. We had a fabulous meal at Restauant La Frega located 2 blocks away on the same street as the hotel. It was pricey, but so good that we returned for another dinner to have all those other items on the menu we wished we had had room for on the first round!! All in all a wonderful experience. This was our thrid stay here. Nice little, not too fancy, Paris-style hotel that I recommend often to anyone planning a trip to France. Lisateave

You can not ask for a more perfect location. You are literally directly across from the Palais Royal, The Louvre and Tuileries as well as a block from Musee Orsay. Will definitely return and highly recommend especially if interested in seeing the Louvre, museum, art galleries, which are all so very close! No air conditioning so may not be best in hottest of weather but they provide a very good floor fan and we slept well in temps of 80s. Basic accommodations larger than expected.

Hotellet er af ældre dato men velholdt. Det ligger lige ud til Seinen med udsigt til Louvre. God betjening. Hotellet er perfekt til en storby ferie hvor man ikke tilbringer tid på værelset for at sove. Værelserne er små som er normalen for Paris.

Overall this hotel was amazing. As many others have mentioned the hotel is located perfectly - you cannot get more central than this. Everyday we woke up to the beautiful view of the Seine and Louvre. It is within walking distance from major sites. However, being this central it is closer to sights than cozy cafees and restaurants, but if you do your […] research you can easily find these. I stayed at this hotel with my mother, and we stayed in a room with a doublebed, since we wanted the view (twin beds are located towards the courtyard). I did not initially think this would be a problem, but the rooms were very small (even for Paris-sizes). If you are going as a couple this would be perfect and romantic. But not as much as mother/daughter or close friends because of the small rooms. The bed was not a king-size bed. It was more queensized, which also made a difference in comfort. If you are travelling alone or with your partner, do not hesitate to book this hotel. The staff is very friendly as well, and can arrange transport to the airport for a fair price. Lisateave

Rigtig pænt 2 stjernet hotel, med noget nær den bedste beliggenhed i Paris, udsigt over Seinen og lige over til Louvre, i gåafstand til mange af de store seværdigheder: Louvre, Notre Dame, Eiffel tårnet, samt mange mange flere. Vi kan kun anbefale dette til andre, især til den pris.
