"Highly Recommended"
This hotel was perfect for our trip! We picked it we didn't mind the short drive when we wanted to go into the city and it was affordable. It was soo much better than we expected! The breakfast had more than just cereal and bagels! It was a little different everyday and they had omlettes, sausage, home fries, and homemade waffles. The staff was very […] nice and helpful. "Clean and convenient"
The staff was professional and courteous. The rooms were clean and comfortable.The historic area was only a few minutes down the road. Coffee was available all day and the breakfast had a decent selection. Would recommend to anyone visiting Savannah. Will definitely keep this in mind for future visits.

Very accomadating, anything we needed the staff provided to include deodorant, bottle opener and new key cards. The staff was always polite and helpful. We particularly liked that this hotel is located out away from the party crowds which are nearby the Historic District Hampton. "Nice hotel, but had some issues"
Overall the hotel is nice, clean, and has a great breakfast buffet. A few issues we experienced during our stay was the TV in our room only worked the first day, and the pool was actually warmer than the hot tub! Total let down, after sore muscles from walking all day. Also, upon our check in we were told the room we reserved and paid in full for was […] not available... after that was finally worked out, we didn't get to check in until after 4 pm. The hotel was booked solid and there were a ton of people waiting in the lobby also for their room to be ready. I would recommend this hotel because it definitely had it's pluses, hopefully you won't experience any of the set backs that we did. Lisateave
"Hampton Inn & Suites, Savannah. Central"
Location of the Hotel was very central to Local malls Restaurants etc. Within ten minutes of the Historical sites down town & near to the river, with its numerous shops and its many restaurants. The staff at the hotel was allway courteous friendly and always willing to help. Your buffet continental breakfast was well presented.

"Hampton Inn Midtown"
We gathered most of our scattered family here for a wedding clebration, and appreciated the overall convenience and pleasant setting for getting together to chat over breakfast and late evening coffee. The wi-fi worked perfectly on the first try! Everything was very clean, comfortable and congenial. Thank you for doing your part beautifully.
We had a very good stay. The only thing that surprised us was when I asked for a wine glass and they told me I had to go over to the sister hotel to get one. I did not go over. I think that something like this should be available in the hotel that I stay in. I should not have to go outside the hotel to get a wine glass. Thank you

"Beautiful Hotel"
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. I was bummed when I tried to book one more night, but they were full. Very nice rooms, very comfortable beds, very clean hotel, nice workout facility. I will stay here again next time I go to Savannah
"Close to Savannah"
Great stay despite thefact that the hotel was not in the historic district. It was still very close to everything and very convenience. The employees were all great and very friendly. We had dinner across the street from the hotel and ran into Paula Deen. Sort of made the entire stay at the Hampton and the trip to Savannah a little more special.

"nice stay"
Very nice stay, clean room. Only complaint was that the inside pool/spa had a very strong bleach smell that was a bit overwhelming.

the hampton Inn, Midtown, Savannah is an attractive hotel with modern, tasteful decor. A five minute drive to the historic centre of townn and next door to many shops. Excellent pool and fitness facility, fully equipped. A pleasure to stay here.

"Hampton Inn midtown Savannah super convenient"
We moved our daughter to Savannah to attend v SCAD. We stayed at the Hampton Inn midtown because it was close to our daughters' house. We were 5 minutes from her and close to anything we could possibly need.
Excellent accomodations and excellent service. Will definitely stay again.

"Savannah Hampton"
Very friendly staff with great dinner recommendations. The pool and hot tub were warm and mostly empty. Parking was easy. Downtown Savannah only a few miles away.
The lobby was very nice, comfortable and the extras available were new and clean. I'd stay again. Nice if there was suttle to the tour buses. would save a lot of time.

This Hampton was very nice. Clean and looked new. I arrived really early and the clerk actually took my number to call me when the room was ready. I had no where to go, so she gave me another room that was identical to my reservation. Breakfast was pretty good too..who says no to waffles?
Location is very good, close to restaurants, mall, and a few miles away from the Historic district. The staff was helpful and courteous.
"Urine Smell From AC unit / No Ethernet Access"
We were Hampton fans and I didn't even consider other hotels when looking for a hotel in Savannah. The previous Hampton hotels we had stayed at were always impressive. This one I would not recommend and will not book again. The hotel itself was great and appeared to be what I expect from a Hampton hotel. Nicely decorated, friendly staff, good breakfast, […] convenient location. When we first entered our room and instantly noticed a Febreze scent, I actually jokingly commented "that's a bad sign, right?". The room was very basic looking and didn't have the modern Hampton look I was used to, but of course that's not anything that really matters, just an observation. The first disappointment was no refrigerator. I had never before stayed at a hotel without fridge (and I have stayed at cheap hotels) and assumed it was standard nowadays. Not so. Next time check the details. Hard-wired Internet connection was dead. The port coming from the wall was simply not functional. I tried telling the "Engineer" who came to check it out, but he finally decided it was the computer's firewall, even though the port didn't even light up when the cable was plugged in, and wireless worked fine. We had to use the *unsecured* wireless network connection during our stay. After we turned on the air conditioner, we noticed an odd smell. At the time we didn't realize it was coming from the ac, we figured that out later. The odd smell was actually a urine smell and there was no other way to describe it. We notified the hostess twice (over two days). Both times "Engineers" checked the ac and concluded it was working fine, so nothing was done about it. We just wound up not running the ac (we had brought a portable fan so it was manageable). Yes, we could have demanded a new room, but frankly we just didn't feel like dealing with it (and obviously neither did they). "Seriously Good Hampton Inn and Suites in Savannah"
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. This is a rather new hotel with a no charge parking garage attached. Check-in was a breeze with really professional staff on duty who genuinely seemed to want to make our stay a pleasure. The room was spotless with a charming bath and wonderful beds. The hot breakfast was top of the line for such […] self-serve options with two kinds of eggs, various fruits, juices, sausage, waffels, breads, yogurts, cereals, cream cheese,peanut butter, etc. The breakfast area was clean and comfortable. Across the street was a Publix and several restaurants, including a Bonefish Grill. Easy driving access to downtown too. A Hilton Garden Inn next door offered a restaurant also. "Nice hotel except for the noise"
My only problem with the hotel was that the insulation in the walls is so poor I could hear conversation and people going to the bathroom in the next room. The halls, too, were noisy. The first night I barely slept until I put in some earplugs.Normally, Hampton Inn is my first choice of hotels when I travel and it really was a nice hotel except for […] the poor noise insulation problem. The air conditioner didnt work well. We had to wait an hour for our room to get cleaned by a supervisor cause the employee that was suppose to do it didnt clean it right. The housekeeper couldnt speak any English. The pool and hot tub was great.
"Truly pleasent"
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was courtious and very friendly. Went out of their way to insure your stay was ver enjoyable. Would recommend this hotel to family and friernds.

"easy access to the train"
Stayed here with three adults and two 8 year old children - one room and it was very comfortable. Not sure it would have been big enough if we stayed more than the one night - but it was nice. The room was very clean, the staff were amazingly friendly, and the kids loved that the pool was open until 11 p.m. I tried to book a room for the end of the […] week - but it was full - too bad!
