Hotel le Mouton Blanc - Le Mont-Saint-Michel

This is a very charming nice little hotel in a great location right on the mountain and not too far up so you won't have to carry your luggage too far. The only serious issue that we faced was the noise in the early morning coming from the streets (garbage collectors and tourists on the main street under our windows), the other rooms, from everywhere […] :). The thing is that if you want to see MSM without the hordes, you have to stay on the island (and it is also super cool to stroll the ramparts at night). I don't know what the other hotels are like, but there are only a few. This one was certainly nice enough- it was timbered and had a big window looking out onto the alleyway (the entrance into the village) […] which was very cool. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We ate dinner in the hotel, and it was very good. But the room is pretty basic. There was some peeling paint, and the bathroom/water did not smell very nice- but I assume that these are simply elements of being in an ancient building on a little island. Our door lock did not work- but we discovered this late and did not report it to the desk in the morning- the island is small, and the hotel quite secure, so we felt safe. Overall, my advice would be: stay on the island, be prepared for lots of stairs, ignore the cheesy tourist shops, and expect a basic room. And I think the Mouton Blanc will do just fine! Lisateave

A warm welcome from etremely helpful staff - great location and a delighful outlooke at Mont St Michel - you definitely need at least 2 nights here :)

I have always dreamed of visiting Mont St. Michel. Thanks to this hotel, we were able to stay the night on the island! The island was easy to find and easy to park. One must wheel their luggage quite a way to the hotel however it is not a difficult walk. The hotel room decor was very outdated. But, short of that the service and quality and location […] was perfect. We were able to walk around the island at night due to the proximity of the hotel. I would highly recomend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable and decent priced hotel on the island. It appears the hotel was park of the old church building at one time which added a little historical flare to our stay. If staying you must go on the monastary tour. You will not be dissapointed. Our room was terrific! We had a great view of the cemetery from one bedroom window and the wall that faced the sea from the other window. Although our bathroom was small, it was clean and there were plenty of towels and hot water. You want to experience the entire island... stay... this hotel is not fancy but you are in the most wonderful spot and you are sitting in a hotel (I hope)- experience the entire place! STAY -

Wonderful location near steps to Abbey, and nearby cafes and shops. Contains variety of restaurants, with pretty good breakfast. The Terrace Restaurant has views over Bay so visitors can see the waters receding, pilgrims wading across in the shallow bay, and the waters coming in at night. First of all, Mont Saint Michel is simply amazing! I can't believe we were able to book a room on this pseudo-island! Mouton Blanc was nicely located right at the beginning of the main street. When we arrived, the receptionist was absolutely wonderful. Our room was on the top floor, no elevator, but we carry our backpacks so we didn't care. It was very […] castle-like with lots of twists and turns and nooks and small spaces everywhere to peek at. Such a novelty and so much fun! Our room was very nice and even quite large by Europe standards, especially considering how much was packed on this little island. However, do not eat at the restaurant. In fact...RUN from the restaurant. RUN FAST. We were the only people in the restaurant when we first arrived. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, and the waiter brought a bottle. We figured we would drink that much anyway so we didn't say anything. My husband ordered one thing on the menu but it was clear that something else was presented to him. My husband asked a different waitress to see the menu and then questioned the waiter. The waiter was not happy with us for questioning him and snatched the menu from my husband. The waiter was generally cranky and angry with us and everyone else. In fact, he was so rude that some other customers got up to leave. They must have complained because soon they were back with this waiter ooh-ing and aah-ing over them and serving them with huge smiles...but then turning around and rolling his eyes. It was very unprofessional. As if a cranky waiter wasn't enough, there were gnats and mosquitos and flies. Now I realize that everywhere you go in Europe (for some reason) there are these annoyances. But this was ridiculous as we were continually swatting at this or that bug. At one point, I turned to look at the wall above my husband's head and I counted 10 mosquitos. I quit counting and we ate as fast as we could to get out of there. The next morning we went for a walk to the abbey and we got back 15 min Lisateave

Mt St Michel overnight is a treat not to be missed. Mouton Blanc was a perfect place to stay and the restaurant presented an excellent meal.

This is a surprising little hotel. Be prepared and only take a small bag with a minimum of stuff. You will need to call ahead to get code for top carpark which is behind a boom gate. Very disappointed that the advertised Wi-Fi service was not available in the room I stayed in. Room was small and a bit noisy in the morning when merchants were delivering their goods over the coble streets around 5 a.m.

Very friendly, English-speaking staff. quaint old hotel, in the heart of the historic, medieval village on Mount-Saint-Michel. Great location to be in late in the evening and early in the morning, after and before all the hordes of day-trip tourists, when the Mount is quiet and tranquil. Unfortunately, the only parking is down at the foot of the Mount, […] at the end of the causeway, and it can be a hike up to the hotel, especially if you're lugging a heavy bag. I'd recommend you pack a small overnight bag, and just bring it up into the village. Also, it's critical to know when the really high tides are, as the parking area can flood during those times, and the parking situation would be much more difficult. Our room was in the "upper" building, across from the parish church, which was clean and decent, but without any charm in the interior. I'm told the rooms in the main bukiding, I.e., where the reception is, are much more charming. I' definitely stay here again, but I'd pack just an overnight bag, and ask for a room in the main building Lisateave

Hotel le Mouton Blanc was the perfect place to stay for one night, it was on the main tourist street on the way to the abbey on the right hand side, can't miss it! The woman checking us in spoke very good English. Our room was a triple, loft style and the bathroom was nice and modern! The only comments I have are that the rooms on these hotels are very […] old, and do not have air conditioning. For the most part it's cool there anyways, but for our night it was a little warm. But it's all about location, and totally worth it to stay there because in the morning you can walk to the abbey in 10 minutes. Not only that, we got there around 5:00 and the tourists were leaving, so we were able to walk around the streets/city walls and it felt like being in a medival village. Then, best of all, we walked just outside on the causeway and saw it lit up at night. It was an amazing experience, if there was one thing I saw in France I was awed by, this was it - it was SO worth the 4 hour drive from Paris to see it. We ate at the hotel restaurant, and despite general comments about the food on the island not being great and the service being poor, I did not agree - I had lobster, foi gras, etc. and it was delicious! So I'd recommend the hotel restaurant. Also, there's one main street on the island, so in the morning, all the delivery cars would come through and right around 7 it started to get noisy. But if you're getting an early start, it won't be a problem. And you're going to want to get an early start before the tour buses start pouring in! One last thing - parking and bags! The causeway going in goes straight (buses and people staying at the hotel, in which case you'll need a code) or the lot to the right, general parking and hotel parking if there's no high tide. When we got in (fully prepared w/ the code) the attendent did not let us go straight to the upper paved lot, but waived us down to the main one (even though we said we were staying on the island). This hotel was great for a stay on Mt. St. Michel. The room was comfortable and while not large, was plenty big enough for 2 people. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed at the hotel for one night in July 2011. Very happy with the standard of accommodation in relation to the $. Clean and tidy presentation and exactly what we needed. Perfect location not too far from the carpark. Ideal for a family of 4 to explore Le Mont.

I had booked a twin room and the bed were put together. After much negotiation, the hotel agreed to make up the beds separately. The walls are paper thin--so not only can you hear your neighbors enter and leave, you can also hear everyone on the street. As this property is on Mont St. Michel, one has little choice. I am not sure it is worth the price […] as the island is open until 11 pm. Therefore, you can stay on the mainland for cheaper and just walk back and forth from the bridge. Fantastic location at the foot af the Abbey. Room was very comfortable but a bit of maintenance required. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and although slightly more pricey than some of the other restaurants, it was realy lovely. Breakfast was as you would expect and staff were very friendly. Disappointed that no tea and coffee facilities […] in room as advertised ( and local cafe charging up to 4 euro per cup) Hotel would not allow us to take a cup up to the room from the restaurant but did allow us to buy a bottle of cider for 15 euros! Well situated, reasonably priced hotel on the Mount. Restaurant provided decent meals and seemed good value for menu compared to the competition on the Isle. Would recommend to others.

Location, yes it is perfect. Room, very old but acceptable. Was impressed with the cleaning lady who speak good english and was extremely polite. When we got back to the hotel at night, there was no hot water!! Complain to the manager etc and they pretend they don't speak English. So, yes, at a cold night we did not manage to have shower... :(

Our annex room was fine, though a bit of a hike from the office. Receptionist was charming. We ate in the restaurant both nights and loved it. No wi-fi, but it didn't seem to exist on MSM--a small sacrifice!

The staff was all friendly and dinner was good! If you are staying the night you should really stay on the Mont, it was a great experience.

4F の部屋に 1 泊しました。部屋は良かったですがドライヤーがなかったのが残念です (気付いた時には既にフロントがクローズされていて...)。こちらのサイトには「ドライヤー付き」となっていたので安心してしまいました。チェックインの際に確認されることをオススメします。 夕食は併設のレストランで食べましたが、美味しかったです。ホテルもレストランもスタッフはフレンドリーでとても良かったです。 部屋では WiFi の電波が届きにくかったです。

la experiencia es dormir dentro de El mont Saint Michel, el hotel está perfectamente situado, y embebido en el entorno

2012年4月に別館に1泊しました。別館は本館から3分くらいの、看板やレセプションなどない小さな建物です。その時点でかなりがっかりでした。 部屋は、18㎡くらいで（建物の中で2番目に広い部屋でした。もっと狭い部屋もあります。）とてもきれいに掃除されていましたが、家具などは古くかなり質素な感じでした。バスタブ、ドライヤーはやはりありませんでした。 夕食や朝食は本館のレストランで食べましたが、サービス係が1人しかおらず、かなり待たされました。朝食はビュッフェだったのですが、なかなか食べ物を追加してくれず、あまり食べれませんでした。 島内で泊まる利点はあまりないと思います。 6時くらいになると土産物屋などのほとんどの店は閉まってしまいます。夜景も、島外からのほうがきれいに見えると思います。

わかりやすい場所にありました。 部屋から身を乗り出すと、海もミカエル像も見ることができ、内装もかわいらしく、浴槽もあり満足しました。 WiFiは１台分しか使えないようでした。 ドライヤーはありませんでした。 フロントのお姉さんはレンヌ行きのバスには島から乗ることができないので対岸まで歩かなければならないとおっしゃっていましたが、実際には島からバスが出ていました。

Je suis très déçue car nous nous sommes retouvés dans l'annexe au lieu d'être logé dans l'hôtel. Nous n'étions même pas prévenu. De même que la chambre devait avoir une baignoire et nous avons eut une douche qui fonctionnait très mal, très peu de débit d'eau avec le sol glissant. 別棟のお部屋でしたが、むしろ私はこじんまりしていて気に入りました。 電気ポット、ドライヤーはありません。（レストランでお湯を頂くことはできます）。 また、バスタブもなくシャワーのみです。 廊下からはそそり立つモンサンミッシェル、部屋の窓からは海が見え、朝焼けを堪能できました。 ディナーは、パリで食べたフレンチよりもおいしかったです。2食付きであのお値段は、お得以上です。 周りにレストランは少ないので、是非ディナーつきでお泊りください。

ホテル受付の人の愛想は、よく場所は最高だが、離れのシャワーのみの部屋で殺風景な部屋でした。事前のレビューでは、バスありの部屋もあるようですが・・・部屋が暖かいことと島内であること以外よいところは　ないかと思いますが、安い部屋だししょうがないかと思います

　小さいホテルですが、フロントの対応、夕食の料理、価格 サーバーの対応非常に良かったです。 　近所にある何とか叔母さんのオムレツレストランとホテルとは雲泥の差だと思います。

ご飯付きプランにしたのですが、凄く美味しくお腹いっぱいになり大満足でした。豪華な食事にはびっくりでした。 夜は観光客は島からいなくなるので凄く静かで写真を撮るのにも最適でした。朝も同様に日の出を見に出かけたところ人は数人のみ。ごちゃごちゃ感がなく島の中での滞在をオススメします。 また行く時はこのホテルにしたいと思います。

ホテル自体は快適で食事もそれなりに美味しかったです。 一泊二食付きで予約をしていたのですが、やはり心配していた通り、チェックアウトの際に夕食代を請求されました。 片言の英語で何とか説明、フロントの方が端末で再確認、間違いに気づき、謝っておられました。 故意かうっかりかは別として、そういった事態もあると事前に予測していたので、時間的に余裕を持った早めのチェックアウトで正解でした。

城内にするか外から見るか悩んだ末に城内のホテルにしたのですが大正解だと思いました。１１月のモンサンミシェルは夏ほどではないですが、ツアー客があふれていて、場外のホテルは日本人ツアーで一杯。スーパーに買出しにいたあのですが、日本人だらけで閉口しました。しかし、城内にはツアー客はとまらないので、騒々しくなく、ゆっくり過ごせました。ホテル自体はプチホテルで、小さな部屋ではありますが、清潔で、こじんまりとしｔ部屋は好感が持てました。またここで泊まりたいくらい、気に入りました。城内の夕食は気持ちのいいですよ。

グラン・クリュ沿いにあり判りやすい場所です。 部屋は一番安い部屋をお願いしたのですが、窓から乗り出すとちょっと海も見えて、このお値段のお部屋としては満足です。 ホテル内のレストランも美味しかったです！

Были 23-24/09. Номер с видом на аббатство.Номера большие,Кухня в местном ресторане отличная. Завтрак йогурты,свежие pain au chocolate,круассаны,хлопья, чай кофе,фрукты .Персонал приветливый - приемлемо говорят на английском.Не очень удобное время check out - до 11-00. Но вещи можно оставить при ресторане на террасе 2 этажа.

Nous avons passés une nuit dans une chambre avec vue sur la mer de cet hôtel. la vue sur la mer était le seul point positif de cet établissement qui ne mérite pas ses 2 étoiles. en effet pour le prix, nous avons eu le droit à une chambre à la décoration vieillotte (dessus de lit troué), une Télévision non réglée sur les chaines françaises, pas de WIFI […] et une salle de bain en plastique digne d'un hôtel non étoilé. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas irréprochable, non plus, avec des fruits fripés, un café filtre surcuit, un chocolat chaud allongé à l'eau Lisateave

Hôtel correct qui à l'avantage d'être situé sur le Mont permettant de profiter du site tôt le matin ou en soirée hors de l'afflux des touristes!

Es muy cutre pero duermes dentro de la Abadía, para un día es soportable. Esta limpio.
