Hampton Inn and Suites Hartford/Farmington - Farmington

My daughter and I love to stay at this hotel. In particular, the beds are so comfortable. Definitely worth planning the stay to sleep in with a break in the morning for the complimentary breakfast before it closes at 10am. Also love coming in from the evening to cookies or freshly popped popcorn. Coffee is available 24/7.

Pleasant and spacious room. There is no attached restaurant which means no room service. However, there was plenty to choose from in the morning to my surprise in the common area.! There is a limited of restaurant choices in the area and it's mostly located near or around Westfarms Mall. My fiance and I have seen our fair share of rooms together, and this one was quite a relief ! Was impressed with the room-y and clean bathroom and big shower ... King-size bed was comfy, and everything was in good condition. Pool area is as nice as it looks in the pictures, was the main reason we chose this hotel. The hotel is a little secluded, enough […] where we had to take a 15 minute drive to get late-night fast-food, but the actual area is nice and the access to I-84 is pretty close. Everything excellent except for loud foot noise from above room late at night (not hotel's fault). I don't know how someone could walk around that much in a hotel room.

Stayed here 3 nights and planning a 4th. Brand new, spotless clean. Breakfast awesome and FREE! Quite a selection and the to go bags are great. Coffee, tea and cocoa brewed around the clock in lobby. Bed super soft and comfy, quiet rooms, no smoking so not stinky anywhere! Pool and hot tub clean, fun. My boyfriend and I were visiting the UConn Dental School Campus and touring nearby apartments. The hotel was so close to the Health Center, and its situation on the Colt Highway made getting to all of our destinations very easy. The room we were given was enormous and very comfortable! The complementary breakfast was delicious and very well-stocked […] with bagels, real oatmeal with nuts and dried fruit (not instant), eggs (scrambled and hard-boiled), bacon/ham, waffles, pastries, muffins, yogurt, fruit salad, coffee/tea/juice. This Hotel was just what we needed after a long day at the slopes skiing. We showed up in the evening and were nicely greeted, then a fast check-in. Room was spotless, maybe a few extra towels would have been nice, but the room service was quick to get us some. Pool was nice and well kept, Business area and meeting room(s) available, cozy fireplace […] and social area... all this for a reasonable price. In short, if I have to choose again for a place to have a quick stop and unwind with the kids, this would be one of my first choices. Lisateave

The room was gorgeous and much more than expected. When the coffee pot wasn't working, I received a new one within 15 minutes and I was called in the room to be sure I had received it. That is exceptional service. At check in I was told that the extra pillows and extra towels I had requested were already in my room. Overall a great hotel. Even the breakfast was acceptable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But, there are two problems that aren't the hotel's fault. First there are no restaurants nearly. The closest I found was a 5 Guys hamberger stand about 4 miles away. Second the interstate 84 W exits are confusing at night. I got off where the signs said Highway […] 6 (colt road#. I got onto the wrong exit. The correct one is about 1/3 mile further. Took me a half hour to remedy this error. But, back to the hotel... If you have business in the area and are willing to drive into W. Hartford for dinner #about 10 to 15 minute ride) I would strongly recommend this hotel. Yes, the sheets smellled fresh. Lisateave

Lapses by desk (failure to correctly recode room keys upon stay extension) and housekeeping (failure to leave fresh towels and bath mat after taking used ones) caused to low service rating and lowered the overall rating.

The hotel itself is very nice. The housekeeping was not so nice. We had to ask more than once for tissues and soap. Also when wlking on the carpet with black socks, they became gray with the dust in the carpet.

My fiance and I stayed here for a night while we were visiting family for Christmas. The hotel lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays. There were warm, complimentary cookies at the front desk when we checked in. The hotel looked recently renovated and our room was large. I get really skeeved out by dirty sheets and bedspreads in hotels, but the […] bed was freshly made, and there was a note that this hotel launders both its sheets and comforters between guest visits. The bathroom and shower were large; the ONLY reason I am giving the "Comfort" category a 4 was that there was no mini fridge in the room. The continental breakfast in the morning was great. They had little cheese omelets, bacon, oatmeal with brown sugar and almonds, in addition to all of the standard hotel breakfast fare (yogurt, cereal, etc.). We didn't have a chance to hit the pool or the gym but they both looked really nice. It was a great stay and I will definitely be coming back. Lisateave

My ratings are based on my expectations. I stayed one night over Thanksgiving. Check in was fast and easy. The desk agent was pleasant and not overly casual. She was also very accomodating when I needed a little milk for my kids before bed. Breakfast was decent with lots of options. Had a great stay with a comfortable night. The bed was a little harder than I am used to but the hotel was very welcoming. The next morning the breakfast was definitely great! We had a quick dip in the pool and then relaxed in the jacuzzi the next morning which were both kept nice and clean. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a family runion at the hotel this weekend and all of us agreed the hotel was great. The staff went out of their way to provide us with recommendations and menus to local restaurants and local sightseeing. We met in the large, comfortable lobby everyday and the staff provided us with glasses, pitchers, ice, everything we needed for our family […] get together. The staff was more than helpful and cheerfully helped us enjoy our between time at the main visitor lounge. My small family reunion needed glasses and plates for some ordered food and drink they helped us out with a smile.
