Davinci Hotel And Suites On Nelson Mandela Square - Johannesburg

We loved this hotel. Great comfort, great service, great facilities. Would definitely stay there again & recommend it to all.

I combined business and pleasure by bringing my family with me, going to Johannesburg. Davinci was a really great place to stay: Nice surroundings, safe area, wonderful staff, clean and nice rooms. I will definitely go there again!

Great hotel. Ideal location on Mandella Square, Sandton City, one of the largest shopping centres I have seen. Restaurants on the square are great. Steak, seafood, Thai and African etc. Nice bright modern black and white decor, comfortable rooms and a terrific breakfast. No extra charge for parking or wifi. This has to be one of the sharpest and satisfying hotels I have stayed in for some time. I travel about 3 months of the year, so am very particular. I am astounded at how so many of the staff remembered me by name on sight. We came back to stay for a further five nights and on arrival again they welcomed me by name. PS. not the cheapest and the rooms aren't real large, but definately one of the best...and the breakfast (which is great), parking and wifi are inclusive. They should be very proud of themselves. I frequent this hotel for the last year. Quality service and great location - in Nelson Mandela Square. Owned by Legacy Hotels which also owns The Michaelangelo Hotel also in Nelson Mandela Square. I only stayed for one (1) night at this hotel, but the check in and check out was efficient with minimal hassle. This is Legacy's best property. I plan to stay here again because of quality service, excellent room conditions, and wonderful English breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel 4 days while visiting J'burg. This was my first trip to South Africa and I was not disappointed. The staff were all very friendly, including those in the spa. The room was great, especially the large bathroom. The location is wonderful if you are looking to do a lot of shopping. There are so many stores that you can visit. The Da Vinci hotel surprised me positively. Besides having a great rate for the location, this does not represent a diminution of quality of service. Definitely will stay there again when going back to Jo'burg.
