Super 8 Savannah - Savannah

It was an excellent hotel for an amazing price. Our room was very spacious and it was sooo quiet. No kids running around the hotel grounds or anything! It was clean and the bed was so comfortable! I do wish they had a swimming pool or a hot tub though. It made out trip even more enjoyable. It was only 15 mins away from historic savannah and the hotel […] itself was surrounded by several chain restaurants. I would definitely recommend. Lisateave

Great hotel! About 10 minutes from downtown Savannah. Very quiet and extremely clean. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely stay at this hotel again! 5 stars!!

The property was rather new, the room was clean with the exception of a few rug stains and the bathtub. The price was good and I would stay there again for an overnight soccer weekend stay.

Super clean, roomy, comfortable room, night staff was wonderful.. Day staff lady (didn't get her name) was a bit rude. We stopped here the night before we were visiting Savannah the next day. We didn't know if it would be too far from the things we wanted to do in Savannah, but the quality of the room, as well as the super low price was worth the fifteen […] minute drive to Savannah. We ended up staying the entire time we were visiting. Really amazed by this place.. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, complimentary breakfast, all for such a low rate!!! The check in person was disinterested bordering on rude. When asked about area restaurants she was not helpful basically with and "you're on your own" attitude. Worse part was that an item was left behind and we immediately called to ask for it to be located with room number/reservation info on hand and spent 45 minutes on the phone only to be told […] to call back the next day when the manager came on duty at 11. Another call later it was found and we were told we can pick it up on our return trip home. When we went to do that the it took another 40 minutes of explaining etc for it to be found. The clerk was very rude and unhelpful. This is a small hotel.. with small staff.. seems to me they should be talking to each other. The attitude was terrible. Considering that there are 5 other similar hotels in a two block radius this was a bust. Lisateave

Friendly people. clean. What else do you need grabbing some shut eye.

I enjoyed my stay here the owner Milan and the workers were very friendly and accomidating to me and my guest the hotel was quiet and very clean and the room was very spacious I will definetly be back.

For how much this hotel has to offer, I am still surprised by how inexpensive our stay was. The size of the rooms alone are incredibly luxurious. On top of that, the hotel staff was very friendly, the location is less than a 10 minute drive to town, and the rooms are VERY clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was clean. However, the operators took a condensing attitude when there was a need. They do not have a early check-in, late check-out, and they charge $10 for every extra hour. My contention was only with the service.

Room was clean and comfortable. Stayed overnight on the way down I-95. As other reviewers mentioned the water pressure was a problem. At times we could get no cold water at all. From looking at other hotels in the area it is a problem around the area not just this hotel. The beds were comfortable but the frame was squeeky. It did not keep us awake but […] it could have been we were so tired from driving. The breakfast was ok. Only one waffle maker so there was a big line to use it. Not a ton of choices but enough for a quick bit before getting back on the road. Staff was friendly and would stay there again. Lisateave

Wow, what a surprise. I always avoided the hotels with a number in the name, but no more. This hotel was as nice as others costing 3 times as much. Very new and nicely furnished rooms. And the air conditioning / heat was great, and included an option for constant fan....great for "white noise". Close to I-95, downtown Savannah is about 15 minutes away, […] but an easy drive. Loads of fast food, gasoline and other hotels nearby. You can even get a shuttle to downtown for the trolley tours, but call a day ahead. My only complaints are few. The shower was hot, but low water pressure at times. And no protein items in the breakfast....so bring your own yogurt. We went to the close by fast food on the second day. Lisateave

Super Nice hotel. I was expecting something just a little better than a Motel 6 buy it wasn't even close. Super 8 far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is directly across from a Baymont Inn and it looks better than Baymont, by the way. It is located off 1-95 which is a good distance if your are visiting downtown or North Savannah. This hotel is located immediately off I-95 which is very convenient to the Interstate. However, if you want to be convenient to the downtown Savannah area, you will want to select a different location. The hotel was very nice and comfortable and fairly close to various restaurants. The only drawback is that breakfast is between 6 am - 9 am. Unless the […] guest is attending a conference, I think most would not be up that early. Check out is at 11 am which may be the reason why breakfast ends so early. However, I recommend that breakfast go to at least 10 am. This was not a problem for us, but I thought I would let everyone know what to expect. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay! Lisateave

Hotel seemed well maintaned but our room carpet had multiple stains and one decorative bed cover also had a stain. Called front desk around 10pm for extra pillows and was asked to come and get it my self. May be short on staff at night.

While this hotel is not in downtown Savannah, it suited our needs perfectly as it was close to family, shopping and the wedding venue. The staff were very friendly, the hotel and rooms were immaculate, lots of restaurants nearby and it was conveninent on and off I-95. We have stayed at other Super 8's and not been impressed, they were just a place to […] sleep, but this one was above and beyond what we expected! Lisateave

The hotel was bright and clean. Our room was clean and quiet and obtained at a reasonable price. That is what we needed for one night on our road trip. Our simple breakfast in the morning was sufficient to get us on the road again. This was our first stay at a Super 8; we will consider staying at one again.

One of the most clienest hotels I have ever stayed at, a gem.

We were passing through and needed a nice place at a good rate. This place fits that description. The only thing was no one was at the front desk when I walked in and the fan did not work in the bathroom, other than that, is was a good stay.

Very comfortable and clean.

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean, basic hotel. Can't beat the price. About a 20 min drive to the historic district, but that wasn't a big deal to us. We didn't take advantage of breakfast, so I can't comment on that.

We have stayed there twice now and it has been one of the best hotels for the price we have stayed at.. We look forward to staying there again.

15mins from downtown Savannah the staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and very clean.

I stayed a couple of nights in the hotel and was impressed that the Super 8 hotel looked and felt brand new and a really reasonable price. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. I recommend to all travellers in the Savannah area who not need to stay in the city center, at 20 minute drive is still in striking distance.

Nice hotel, no sleep number bed in my room. The staff seemed confused when asked about that detail. Nice place to stay, just don't look to adjust your bed!

Hotel was easy access from I95 & within walking distance of restaurants & convenience store. Malls & restaurants are a few miles away. The room was clean, comfortable, & odor free.

Don't let the Super 8 name fool you. This is definitely not your average Super 8. I was extremely impressed and will be visiting again.

Hotel seems fairly new. Room was clean and reasonably priced. Only fast food to eat in the area. That is a good thing because the breakfast was not very good. Good stop for overnight stay.

Stayed at this Super 8 and a Super 8 in Clearwater, FL and this Savannah Super 8 was like a totally different hotel in a very good way! Yes, not all Super 8's are the same. Savannah Super 8 rooms are clean and inviting! Will definitely stay again! Another plus is that your room key card will give you 10% of at he Applebees down the road! For all the reasons stated in your survey, neighborhood was great to visit, lots of choices for eatting. Shopping at the local outlet stores. Cofortable bed, lots of room. Thanks for making my stay a great stay.

Clean, Well priced and convenient. Everything you can ask for you - including a refrigerator!

I was very surprised at the quality and comfort of the room I stayed in! I usually have a hard time falling asleep in hotels, but I went right to sleep here. The beds were so comfortable and cozy! I felt very safe here, and the staff was very nice and accomodating. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Savannah! :)

The hotel was convenient, clean, and comfortable. There were not many other people there the night our stay. The staff, while not rude, were not overly welcoming.

Breakfast was so so but everything else was top notch.

We booked a room at this hotel from on-line recommendations and reviews. I must tell you that this hotel far exceeded all the other reviews. the room was big, with a sitting room that included a couch, coffee table and closet with a glass door. (Very attractive). the bedroom contained a large tv in a closed cabinet that contained a small refrig. and […] a microwave The room was immaculate and the bed was more comfortable than our bed at home.Staff could not do enough to assist you and were extremely polite. Breakfast room was adequate and comfortable with a large assortment to please all. Staff continuallly refilled any area that needed it. Upon leaving in the morning I left my sweater in the closet and within 11/2 hours a staff member named Ms. Patel called our cell phone to inform us thinking that if we were sightseeing, we could retrieve it before leaving town. VERY CONSIDERATE especillly from housekeeping staff. My only wish was that we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of the hotels recommendations for sightseeing. We DO intend to return for a longer stay and will definitely repeat our stay at Super 8. Will also highly recommend it to our friends, family and all who intend to visit Savannah. Lisateave

Great service very clean great access off of I95

One of the best hotels under 3 stars. New hotel as well.

I arrived at the hotel with 2 more people than on my reservation plus a dog, the manager on duty was very accomidating and even put me in a room close to a door so I could take my dog out easily. The hotel was very clean. The only downside to this hotel was the very sparce breakfast.

I belive this was one of the nicest places we have stayed in. Everthing was great.

stayed on my way to orlando..excellent for overnight although a stay in savannah easily be skipped by driving straight to florida. Savannah though is as close to a haunted town as you can see..avoid the stay in savannah but if you have to then this hotel has got amazing rooms!

I had a great experience here. The room was very clean, comfortable, and pretty spacious. I think it's a family run hotel and everyone was friendly and helpful, especially given that I stayed during a busy sold out weekend. The hotel itself was much nicer than typical Super 8's (I prefer the interior hallways) and could be on par with some of the 3-3.5 […] star places I have stayed. The location was convenient to the highway, but it's a 15-20 min drive into Downtown Savannah, so not super close to sights/restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here if you don't mind being a bit outside the city. Lisateave

The only problem we encountered was the water pressure to to take a shower; other reviews stated this so I was aware of the problem, but I was hopeful that it had been fixed. I would also suggest an earlier check-in time other than 3:00 p.m. at no charge if rooms are available.

We wanted a low cost motel near Savannah and found one 20 minutes from the City Center. The cost was much less than anything we could find in the heart of Savannah. The motel was quiet and clean and near ammenities. We had to compromise with the distance and cost, but overall were satisfied.
