The hotel was fine, the room was comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. The service was not good. When I called to confirm my online reservation, the lady was rude and seemed like she had no idea what I was talking about. We had questions about the room rates and she did not explain it very thoroughly. When we checked out, there was a […] mess of confusion about my payment and I ended up getting charged twice. It was on a Sunday, so I didn't get refunded the pretty sizeable amount I was owed until Tuesday....VERY annoying. But we did enjoy the time we didn't have to deal with the employees. Hotel room was very clean. Location was decent. In Fairbanks, you are generally pretty close to most things, and there isn't really a reason to stay downtown.
