The hotel is aimed at the business traveler. The rooms were adequate and clean and breakfast opened at 6AM. I give the neighborhood a 2 because there is very little close by for eating or shopping. Property is quiet.

My room was not on the river front (whole reason for booking there). The air conditioner in my room was so loud that I couldn't use it, so my room was HOT day and night. When I finally did break down and turn it on (sounded like an overloaded washing machine off the tracks) the neighbors next door decided to stand in front of my room and smoke - the […] smoke was sucked right into my room by the AC. I was first given a room behind stairs by ice machine. I asked for room away from ice ,was told machine did not work so should mot bother me. I mentioned the stairs do work The place was near empty and was moved to better location. I stay here on occasion smd will again. Basic needs meet and clean.

I had stayed at the Edgewater a few weeks before and had a room on the water. When I stayed this time no water. Same price, no water. The hotel was not booked so I guess it was my dog. I wish they would advertise this piece of information. Very disapointed

We loved being right on the Rogue River. It was a bit pricey for that slider opening to the river bank, but it made us wish were going to be there for more than one night. There are limited choices on this southern approach to Crater Lake, and this has got to be one of the best. Pool=chilly; hot tub=hot.

We weren't sure what to expect in a small town in what seemed to be in the middle of no where. We were pleasanly surprised with a lovely room but what we were thrilled with was the river view from out our back door. We could walk right out our back door and down a small bank to do some fly fishing. It was relaxing and so scenic. I grew up in this area and I have stayed here twice. Nothing has changed and in this case thats a good thing. We stayed in the river front view room and Im pretty sure it was the same room I stayed in about 7 years ago. Everything was great but one thing.. there were four of us on the reservation for one room and there was only one little thing of shampoo […] and conditioner. If I owned a hotel and knew that there would be multiple guests staying in one room I would go the extra mile to make sure the cheap little shampoo/conditioner bottles were available for my guests. Other than that it was as peaceful as always to fall asleep and wake up to the beautiful Rogue. Lisateave

We stayed at three different hotels on our travels this Labor Day weekend. This was far the best overall stay out of the three. From the awesome staff to the spa it was a great experience. We asked the clerk when we were checking in, for any local entertainment. She gave us the number to the local taxi and the name of a restaurant with a Blues band […] playing. Really nice lady at front desk. Large clean room. No complaints. This was one of the very few motels near Crater Lake. Still had an hour + drive to get to park, but not anything closer. There is a Subway and gas station across the street.

Loved the hotel with beautiful river view. Enjoyed aa day rafting the rogue river, rentals across the street.Would like to see a cleaner hot tub outside was the only complaint.

Nice hotel for a rural area on the Rougue River just outside of Medford Oregon and a few miles from Lost Creek Lake. Would like to have known from your website that the hotel offered "River Side" Rooms over looking the Rogue River. Will know for next time. There is also a great Mexican Restaurant right across the river from the hotel. You can walk there […] in about three minutes. Everything was good about the hotel except the bed. Came with my 3 teenaged sons, Arrive at 9:30pm. The desk clerk was expecting us as we had made a reservation online. She was quick to sign us in, not particularly friendly but I was not looking for a friend to talk to. We immediately went to the room to unload and jump into the pool and hot tub. Both were enjoyed by all as well as the many other friendly […] guests stories pool side. The pool closes at 10pm however my sons came back to the room more like 10:20 and Were Not kicked out of the pool by hotel staff. The free inclusive breakfast was adequate. Wonderful location adjacent to Rogue River with a separate deck outside over river and a great Mexican restaurant directly across river. Loved watching the inflated boats drifting by from the outside deck.

Highly recommend this hotel for family trips. This is a nice hotel for family trip: it is not too costly, the room is clean, plenty large for family of 4 people, and staff is nice. It is right on the money!

The front desk lady was friendly and sweet but the rest was a disappointment. the room smelled funky, kinda like an old floks home, the bed was old, the pillows lumpy. It was however a good location. I feel it was a bit overpriced for what you got

Nice hotel, well-maintained clean rooms with kitchenette. We stayed in a room backing the Rouge River, very nice perk of the location. Easy to find and conveniently located on the way from Medford to Crater Lake.

Location, location, location ... If you will be in Shady Cove, this is a fine place to stay. The pool and hot tub are nice, the views along the river are quite pleasant, and the food at the mexican restaurant just across the river is also very good. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but all in all, the service is good as well. A peaceful and quiet place and […] only an hour's drive from Crater Lake. Also, there is a rafting company across the road which I would have checked out if I had the time ... the river is not too wild here so it looked like it could be a wonderful family activity. We absolutely enjoyed our room in Shady Cove. We had attended the Friendship Meet with over 368 cars registered and didn't want to drive home after the show, so we stayed at the motel. The weather was very warm and the room was c-o-o-l. Best decision we made.

One of the most pleasant short stays I've ever had. My room had French doors at the rear. When I opened them up, there was the beautiful Rogue River, just about 50 feet away. I just sat there in a chair, watching and listening to the water go by, watching hawks and other birds flying overhead, just soaking in paradise. And I must say that the lady […] who ran the office and front desk was wonderful. I arrived at 2:00 AM, having driven from Seattle, and she cheerfully met me at the office. She even extended my checkout time, which was very much appreciated. If you're a romantic or a fisherman, or better yet, both, get one of the river view rooms at the Edgewater Inn. Lisateave

We have stayed here several times and found staff to be pleasant and helpful. Rooms are clean and met our needs. Pool was in need of repair but fine for use.

Make sure you book a room on the river or you will not be. Rooms were small and the light shone through the window all night long. Pool was small but was better than none at all. If you have to stay in Shady Cove this is about the best option.

The hotel was great! Very clean, in the middle of everywhere we were going to be, and everyone who worked there was very nice. I would stay again for sure!! But, I would choose to be in a riverside room this time only because that is the best part of the hotel. 思ったよりクレーターレイクに近かったです。ローグ川もきれいで、環境もよかったです。部屋もよかったと思います。近くにもっとベジタリアンでも食べられるレストランがあるとうれしかったです。もっと川を満喫したかったので、また近くに行くときは、利用するかもしれません。ロビーも心地よかったです。

８月の宿泊で、部屋は満室。 無料アップグレードでriver viewのあるお部屋に。 バルコニーもついていて、そこでriverを眺めながら夕食を取りました。 とても気持ちよかったです。 部屋も清潔で、良い印象でした。 朝食も美味しかったです。
