Ritz Carlton service. Delicious light meal served from roof top..enjoyed great breakfast sitting by river in their 1st floor restaurant . The room had every amenity and the latest in technology. I enjoyed the walk out balcony looking out over the river. The only problem with this 5 star hotel are the doors to the rooms--each time a guest entered or […] exited their room (which happened up until 3 am) the doors woke us up. I also heard the guest snoring in the room adjacent to us throughout the night. We will stay here again and ask to be in a room away from the crowd if possible. Lisateave

Wonderful, eclectic decor, absolutely fabulously comfortable beds, great location and helpful and courteous staff. Lovely rooftop bar with great views over the Savannah River. Concierge desk staff were very accommodating although some were a bit inexperienced with certain dining recommendations. They did try their best and we were satisfied with the […] majority of recommendations. We had breakfast at Rocks on the river level and the food and service were excellent although the decor was somewhat bland, especially in comparison with the decor throughout the rest of the hotel. Wonderful hotel. The view of the river was beautiful and soothing and the room was comfortable and eclecticly decorated. My eight year-old didn't accompany me on this particular trip, but I kept imagining how excited he would have been watching all the activity on the river. The room overlooks River Street, and it was more temptation than I could resist […] not to venture downstairs and check it all out. I gave the Bohemian Hotel a 5 in terms of rating because there really wasn't anything to complain about but for the price of the room, I expected it to be larger or a little more impressive. It was a pretty basic room but the view was really nice. Overall, the staff was helpful- the valet and bell hop services were both efficient and extremely polite. […] Fantastic location! Lisateave

My wife and I stayed at the Bohemian for our honeymoon, and neither of us could have been more pleased. The decor of the hotel is spectacularly unusual. If you gave a goth interior designer free reign and a very generous budget, this is what you would get. The artwork is *fabulous* in the rooms, in the restaurants, at the bar on the roof, in the lobby, […] even the purple lights decorating the trees outside, it was all perfectly and tastefully eccentric. The boxing paintings on the rooftop bar should not be missed. Even the headboards for the beds, the dark tiled modern shower with highly unique frosted glass will grab your attention right away. THe light fixtures made with a spiderweb of decorative beads adorn most if not all of the lights. I could ramble for hours. The whole hotel was unusual in the very best way. But wait ... because the staff was even better. They were polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and always seemed to have a minute to spare if you needed it, and I mean every one of them from the bellman, to the check in desks (which were, I should mention, actual hardwood beautiful desks rather than the standard walk up to the counter type hotels), to the managers, waiters, room cleaning staff, everyone. Even in Savannah, where courtesy is the cultural norm, this hotel stood out. Still not done ... the restaurant on the first floor facing the river had outstanding cuisine, and as an extensive traveller, I can tell you that hotel cuisine usually sucks, but this food was excellent. Try the traditional benedict or the french toast benedict for breakfast. It's to die for. The bar on the rooftop was elegant, architected such that even very loud conversational levels were still much more muted and less oppressive than normal. The bartenders were skilled, flexible, quick, and paid attention to detail. The staff was also extraordinarily helpful in pointing out places for fantastic food, shops, tours, everything. This old building along the riverfront is a treasure. The hotel staff is the best I've seen in years. The room was perfect except that I would have liked a refrigerator and wet bar. The location is ideal for shopping along the waterfront. Great bed and lots of pillows that are really pillows and not some cheap imitation. Will come back anytime I go […] to Savannah. Lisateave

Great location. Walking distance to everything in the Historic District. Access to River St. from the backdoor of the hotel. Comfy beds. Excellent views of the river and River St. right from your hotel window and balcony.

Was our first trip to Savannah, and couldn't have asked for better accomidations. We arrived a little before check-in time, and were able to check out luggage while we waited for a room to be ready. After reading a few reviews, we wanted a room above the 4th floor (Lobby) for the best view of the river. At about 4pm we entered a wonderful room, with […] a balcony overlooking River Street. Valet parking was reasonable and convenient with only a ten or so min wait for your car to be brought to the front of the hotel anytime you needed it. Tours picked up from in front of the hotel, or you could just stroll down on river street, or among the squares easily from this great locations. All in all a wonderful stay at a wonderful hotel. We only spent one night but really liked this hotel. It is very dark inside the lobby, hallways and rooms and they have sort of a "ghost" theme but still is very well done and lovely. Sort of modern and very brown! The view from the roof restaurant and bar is beautiful we did not have dinner there but it looked great and was really lively and attractive. […] Easy to walk to the historic area, and near lots of restaurants...including Paula Dean's restaurant. It was fantastic! Rooms are beautiful with double doors leading to bathroom and glass doors to shower and seperate toilet area. Get a deluxe river room here so you can watch the big ships pass on the river.

I loved this hotel from the minute I walked in. Very luxurious. Room was even better than I expected. It was so richly decorated and the staff were extra pleasant. Highly recommend this hotel. Parking was pricey, but hey it made up for the view and room.

This was our seventh trip to Savannah, and we always stay at the Riverwalk area. We have stayed at most of the major hotels in this area, and have found this one to be exceptional. From the moment you check in you know your visit just took a turn for the better. Everything from the food to the view is the best. ENJOY!
