AVA Hotel & Suites - Ateena

This beautiful little boutique hotel is situated in a PERFECT spot to experience the old town of Athens. We were disappointed our double room did not include a balcony or view as promised. Friends who had a triple room with balcony were very happy.

Very good service, they set up our transfer (the taxi driver was professional and courteous) from the airport to the hotel. We were offered the opportunity to upgrade our suite for a larger one for a few Euros more. Of course we took advantage of the offer, and it turned out to be probably the best suite in the small hotel. Clean fresh linen, clean […] floors and rugs, clean bathroom. My husband and I stayed for 5 nights at the AVA suites. The service at this hotel was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The location was excellent being just on the edge of Plaka with its quaint tavernas and shops.

We stayed at this quality hotel and upgraded to the executive suite. It was clean quiet, very private and very hospitable. It's location cannot be beaten since its location is central between the Acropolis and Temple of Zeus. Lots of excellent restaurants, shopping and sites within walking distance. The AC did not work properly in our room. We got a complementary bottle of champagne which was very nice, but the room stayed quite hot.Overall, our stay was pleasant though.

We loved the convenience of this hotel in the best neighborhood Plaka of Athens..it was minutes to the Acropolis, and other museums. This is a great property and wonderful staff..Our best stay in Athens after two previous trips.

We had a really pleasant stay - even with actual demonstrations and strike closedowns. BUT the photos in the net-site does NOT give a quite real perspective on views from rooms --- of course...

The Plaka location is excellent for seeing Acropolis sites-- including the wonderful new Acropolis Museum-- and for access to several outstanding restaurants where the staff is ready and able to provide reservations. We would gladly return to the AVA if we are in Athens again.

The Ava hotels is situated in a very convenient location close to the Plaka area of Athens and a short walk from the Acropolis station and also the Acropolis sites and museum. Booked the hotel on the recommendation from Tripadvisor through Hotels com and although pricey it was a special celebration a 50th birthday. The staff were very helpful, they […] provided a bottle of wine and chocolates as a celebratory present which was very nice of them. The room came with a small kitchenette and tea and coffee were provided. We did not have breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment but this was an extra charge. Fantastic stay, Athens has a lot of charm and there are loads of restaurants to choose from when eating out from expensive to cheaper cafes. A really charming city which has not lost its friendly villagey feel. Metro is cheap and very clean and easy to use. Lisateave

We stayed at Ava Hotel for three nights. It is in a great location in Plaka and very close to Acropolis and other interesting sites...Zeus temple and Hadrian Arch. The hotel is close to shopping, flea market, and national gardens also. We had some lovely meals nearby including on roof top cafe's with great views. Don't be put off by the narrow street and unimposing façade, this hotel is a gem. From the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine on our arrival to the enthusiastic help from the staff this hotel helped make our stay in Athens very enjoyable. Clean, new, modern, tasteful decor and a huge comfy bed. The only slight negative was a cramped bathroom but […] even that had a painted domed ceiling! シンタグマ駅から少し分かりにくい場所でしたが、全てに満足いくものでした。 スタッフはとても親切で心配りのサービスもあり、 部屋にはキッチンもついていました。 欲を言えばバスタブがあれば・・・ このホテルに滞在出来たことは旅のいい思い出となりました。
