Hotel Delizia - Milano

I stayed at this hotel on two separate occasions. Both times everything went very well. The hotel is clean, the staff is helpful, the breakfast is good. There are convenient city bus lines from main train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the main sights in central Milan. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet and residential.

I visited with my wife and a friend, in general we wouldn't fault the hotel and the staff on the whole were very good. (This is particularly true when you consider most persons we met in Milano were indifferent bordering on plain rude in bars and restaurants and shops). If you need to get to the Fierra RHO then this hotel is more than suitable with […] the station close by and direct to the exhibition, about 4/5 stops. more on trains below** The location for the city center is walkable (20/25mins) but a short walk will get you to a tram straight to the Duomo. There is an excellent Pizzeria nearby which serves Fresh Buffalo Mozzarella and it shouldn't be missed some of the other eateries nearby were so so. This particular Pizzeria( Ristorante LA Taverna) was recommended by the hotel staff. The only downsides of the Hotel were that in the mornings we could hear the water being turned on ad running in the pipes from an adjacent room which didn't appear connected with the Hotel we couldn't hear anything from our friends room which was also adjacent to us. So the rooms aren't properly soundproofed if that is in an issue for others. Breakfast was fair, everything is fresh and the coffee is mostly very good depending on who makes it! but on two occasions they had run out of pastries which on the second occasion we made clear it wasn't acceptable and the staff arranged for fresh pastries to be made. They were accommodating and on request made boiled eggs also. Given the prices at the time this was good value for us simple and comfortable and it would suit anyone without high expectations but don't want to be disappointed. I would stay there again and I hope they succeed. Back to trains: One change at Garibaldi will enable you to pick up the Malpensa express, but be warned we had 0mins notification of which platform the train would arrive on (either 13 or 20 -both opposite ends of the station!) despite waiting 1 hour for the train on a Sunday having just missed the previous Lisateave

Et hyggeligt lille familiehotel, med udmærket service og en optimal beliggenhed for gåture til det centrale Milano med domkirken, slottet, og indkøbsområder som f.eks. Via della Spiga (modetøj) etc. Meget rimeligt i pris og fuldt acceptabelt.

Estadia sem luxos. Quarto de decoração muito simples e desatualizada, e com alguns itens precisando ser trocados, como a prateleira de vidro da pia que estava trincada. Do chuveiro sai água fraca.
