What a bargain! Very clean and friendly staff. Close to beach also. I would recommend it!

Stayed two nights. Comfortable, clean room with microwave and frig - just what we like to have. However, they did not clean our room after the first night! There excuse was that the cleaning staff went home before we left the room at 11:00AM that morning. Not everyone is an early riser!!

Given the low rate we paid we were very impressed with the level of cleanliness and comfort. The bed was very comfortable and while the room was not large it had all the amenities that we needed.

Just wanted to stay in a cheap hotel, and we got what we paid for. There were grease stains on the comforter, and the "clean" remote was obviously not. We were looking for a place on the cheap, and for the price I'd probably stay there again. The location was great, but the parking was scanty. We ended up eating at the Flashback restaurant that shared […] the same small parking lot, and the food there was decent. Continental breakfast consisted of corn flakes or froot loops, mini bagels, toast, or donuts and a few apples and oranges(better than some I'd say). Lisateave

stayed here bcus I found a good deal, it was not bad for the price and you get a free continental breakfast. The walls were a bit thin as I could hear most of what was going on upstairs and next door and loud people outside but it was overall an alright experience.

The room was clean but small. The restaurant next door was noisy in the early morning. The wifi did not work well in my room. I might stay again because the price was right. :)

This wasn't the worst place to stay, and I have been in worse. PROS: Centrally-located. Accessible, no endless corridors and stairs. CONS: Parking lot was full. Only a handicap sticker saved us from a very long hike offsite with bags. Don't stay for the breakfast, you'll be disappointed. Room heater malfunctioned and wouldn't turn off, so room was more […] than warm most of the night. Call to office resulted in a request to whack on it to try to shut it down. Worked. Bed was too soft and too high. Bath exhaust fan ran but didn't exhaust, so room was stuffy, moist for a long time. Room also smelled as a result, so we had to light a deodorizing candle to mask it whenever we were in. The carpets and bedspread haven't been cleaned - they had that "used" feel and smell to them. Water from the tap was vile-tasting, so unless you bring your own water, the coffee and teas provided in the room are just good for looks. The office had some left over in the breakfast room from 13 hours earlier, so I had something to drink. This sounds like a long list, but as I said, I've been in worse. Lisateave

Its conveniently located, the rooms were clean, and the service was good.The only thing I didn't love was the "breakfast" which consisted of milk, juice, bagels, toast, two choices of cereal, apples and oranges. Other than that, no complaints.

The room was small, felt very dirty, and the bed was lumpy. Requested a late checkout for a job interview and they were less than accommodating. No iron in room. Requested an iron and they gave us a portable iron board that was stained and looked dirty. I was afraid to iron my dress clothes for risk of ruining them. Staff was very rude. The staff was really friendly and recommended a great place for dinner not too far away. The room was clean- a bit dated and the bed a bit uncomfortable but I didn't expect much when we booked and we were pleasantly surprised!

The booking and service was great, nice manager with great softskills. The facility was dingy but fairly clean. The room had a stench of mildew. Old carpet, questionable clients etc. For the price, location for my personal convenience at that time. It was a quick, decent bed with a good TV and functional bathroom facilities. I have stayed at 3 hotels in Newport. This was by far the best one. The staff was great, very helpful and seemed glad we were staying there. The room, even though the hotel was right on Highway 101, was very quiet. The bed was more comfortable than most, too. The breakfast was good and even better because it was free. The room was clean and comfortable and in particular the bed was awesome! They are currently doing some renovation work in the rooms. The location is very convenient if you are traveling - very easy to find from the road and with several restaurants just around the corner. The service was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good.

Head board and shower smelled like mold. The cleaning service barged in without knocking and we were in our underwear. There was a very uncomfortable plastic mattress cover on the bed and the sheets would not stay on. The wifi worked well, a nice television, and good black out shades.

A friend and I stayed at the hotel on a road trip down the Oregon coast and it was in a convenient town for stopping for the night, affordable and easy to find on the 101 at night in an unfamiliar town. Nothing special, but definitely acceptable especially considering how economical it was!

Room was small but clean. For the price of our stay I would say we were very happy with the Hotel. Staff seemed nice -- not a lot of interaction with them. After the 1st morning we just skipped the "breakfast" the next two days. NOT a lot of choices BUT AGAIN for the price we paid, we didn't expect much. The website states that there is a continental breakfast served starting at 7:00AM. I rang the night bell at 7:15 so that I could check out. The lights in the office and attached dining area were off. I could smell stuff cooking but nothing was out for guests. I went to Mcdonald's across the street because I had to be to work by 7:30, and couldn't wait. […] I am a District Manager for a large business that has an office in Newport. Cheap, clean, and comfortable! Free internet, good channels on a nice flat screen tv, and the heater works good. All newly remodeled so everything is newer. Great place to stay for a good price.

I took 9 family members on a 3 day vacation to the central Oregon coast. We stayed at the La Quinta in Newport. The staff was great,, Mary Lou was awesome. She really cared about our comfort. It was great, everyone was very happy with our stay and we will go back.

Relatively clean accommodations. Great bed and bath facilities. Chair stem did not stay up and I had to sit very low when using it. Overall, a good bargain.

We really enjoyed our stay at Travelodge! The staff was very pleasant, and the room was great. The only suggestion that we have, is that the fridge sitting on the floor is inconvenient, especially for those with back problems. Otherwise, it was great! Thank you Travelodge :)
