Vincci Estrella del Mar - Marbella

The only negative point is that there were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. I asked reception for a kettle and tea bags and they did provide one immediately. There are no local shops or restaurants to walk to nearby by the beach club is wonderful and has a spa and bar. A very nice stay in a lovely hotel.

Requiring training facilities after leg fracture we chose this hotel because we understood from the website that it had both training and indoor swimming facilities in addition to 5 restaurants. The excellent training and swimming facilities were in the Beach club several hundred meters away down a hill and also with an additional charge. After protesting […] the hotel provided a shuttle service for us to the beach club. The hotel had 2 restaurants (not 5 as advertised!), one of which was closed, and a bar serving snacks. The restaurant at the Beach club only served food at weekends. Beautiful interior details, lovely large rooms, limited fine dining, friendly service, somewhat geographically isolated, especially low season. All in all does not really qualify as a 5 star. We received assurances that the website would be corrected. Would recommend but with reservations as mentioned above. Lisateave

An absolutely beautiful hotel. Definately 5 star standard. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Our room was just wonderful with a large bed and a huge bathroom. So clean and pristine. And a lovely balcony over the gardens. It is a bit difficult to find and even sat nav got lost! Worth the effort though.

The staff were very friendly and eager to assist. The hotel is comfortable and suitable for couples, families and professionals. Caveat: it is Spain, so things are a little slower paced. The dinner and drinks prices were towards the high end of the range, but it is Marbella and you are a captive audience. The club containing the gym, spa and pool […] was great and well worth a visit. The staff there were fantastic and the place is very relaxing. The massage was a little "soft" but it might suit other people. If you do not know the area, be sure to ask the staff about the easy way to get back on the freeway/main road. Saves a lot of time. Overall, a good stay. Lisateave

Loved this hotel, it was a nice break from the simpler hotels in Granada and Seville. Each room had a beach feel to it. Great spa, take the Beach Club access and Breakfast option as that is what took it from 4 Stars to 5.

This hotel was fantastic - the staff really made the place, they were incredibly efficient, fun and friendly with excellent customer service skills. Everyone made us feel welcome and it created a wonderful atmosphere. The pools are very impressive and the adult's only one means there is always peace and quiet. You can also walk down to the nearby beach […] which also has great restuarants scattered along it. Rooms are great - really spacious with good bathrooms. Only criticism we had was that beds were two doubles with gap in the middle - we told this to concierge and within minutes, housekeeping team were up with a cover that zipped in the middle to create a double. The property of Vincci Estrella is lovely (great pool selection) and well maintained. The rooms (we received a room for disabled persons) did not seem to match the property itself (they seemed a bit old and decor was average). The location is about 7kms from the main town so you need a car to get around (which we did have). The main a la carte restaurant […] was really lovely and the breakfast buffet was great. Service could be improved - all were very willing to assist but there was never enough staff to cater for the numbers in peak times(and there is no pool service). The Beach Club is new and should be included in the hotel price (not an extra) but the facilities are fantastic. Overall we had a very nice stay but it is not a 5 star property. Lisateave

Everything was excellent i would recommend this place to everyone the only downside i can think of is the price of drinks (£3 for 1 small beer) which WAS almost robbery but go to the supersol and and buy 6 for £3. For a fantastic meal out go to The Playwrite 15 min walk this place is also perfect..A MUST..! We will be going back in August.

We're just back from a week long break at the Estrella Del Mar where we had a really enjoyable stay. The hotel, its facilities and the staff were excellent in every way. As a chill out destination its perfect as its away from the main Marbella "strip" in a quiet residential area. A taxi to Marbella costs about €17 or alternatively take a local bus from […] the main road / motorway (10 min walk from hotel) for just €1.35. The newly opened beach club situated off the hotel site (3 min walk) on the waterfront is great too. Just get there early to get a lounger ! Its a great spot to spend the whole day. If you want to dine out away from the hotel there are some nice little restaurants in the vicinity too, Las Banderas (well signposted) near the beach and the Beach House, a little along the beach to the left as you face the sea. If I was to pick any negative I would mention the fact that wireless internet is charged and only available in certain areas of the hotel. There is a wired connection in the rooms but that's not much use unless you've brought your laptop ! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break away. If you're looking to be closer to bars, clubs etc, stay closer to or in Marbella itself. We hope to return for a long weekend later in the summer if we can get as good a rate as we got this time around !!! Lisateave

A fantastic hotel in all respects, perfect for those wanting something a little special.

My self and my sister were staying in the hotel. We rented a car and had difficulty finding the hotel, there was a sign but not well lit up on the main road to give you enough notice to take the slip road. The hotel was just beautiful and very well maintained. The room was also extremely comfortable and well done. The only item to note was that their service was inconsistent, either terrific staff, or not good in some cases.

Hotel was fabulous. rooms were spacious with good air conditioning. Views over sea were fab. plenty sunbeds around the pool which were superior to usual ones. As we were there for a wedding we had dresses and neither wardrobes had a long drop to hang them. this was the only fault we could find. This was a good Hotel but in my opinion, not worthy of Five Stars. The Hotel itself is of good quality in terms of the standard of rooms, and with a decent pool area. Negatives include a 10 Euro per night car parking charge, resulting in most guests parking in the street for nothing. No poolside service, you have to get changed/cover-up and go to the […] buffet. The Fitness suite is very small and not at the standard you would expect of a Five Star Hotel. The main issue was dining. There is a buffet restaurant which is fine but serves similar lunch and dinner fare every day, a bit boring after two days. There is an a la carte restaurant but I've no idea what it is like as I couldn't get a reservation. Ive never been to a Five Star Hotel before that is unable/unwilling to accommodate guests within it's restaurants. Spent the first four nights of our honey moon here. Great time. Hotel is new and you can tell the service is a little behind its five star rating. Thats not to say the people working there are not friendly, they just seem a bit short staffed.

The hotel advertises its a 5 star but it doesnt seem like it. Its nice and all but nothing special. First, the beach is far...very far. A water view means you can see it in the distance; not that its actually on the water. It is also past the main attractions in Marbella. Not impressed at all.

Its a 5 star place and only been open for under a year. We got a cab to the hotel from the airport, very pricey at €70 but its only a 20 minute journey. we got there at 10pm and was given champers on arrival. The room was very big with a huge bathroom. We had a superior room. It had a nice balcony. We liked going down to the small bar on the beach and […] having an early lunch. The beach is 3 minutes walk and was lovely and not busy. There are a couple of other places to eat along there. we just liked this bar, as it was simple food and near the hotel. Drinks at the hotel were expensive to be honest. They only had one white wine which is not great. The pool are was amazing with 3 pools on different levels. Nice sun loungers and some were double beds. Even tho they had an outside bar, it was never open and the pool service was minimal. The view from the pool area was nice. The hotel is about 200 m from the sea. At night we got a taxi in to marbella for food. Taxi's can get pricy. As it is €20 each way. If I did it again I would hire a car. saves you a fortune. Places to go are: Da bruno (mentioned in another review), Orange square (lovely area for restaurants and local shops). I would go and stay at the hotel again, but would hire a car as the taxis ate up a lot of holiday cash. driving to and from town is a straight line literally, so its no hassel. staff were lovely. Un accueil chaleureux. Un service de qualité et un personnel qui fait tout pour vous satisfaire. Un seul regret : les piscines extérieures ne sont pas chauffées et fin avril l'eau est à 20 degrés.

アジア人もほぼいなく、ホテル内は英語ＯＫ！ スタッフも本当にやさしく親切な人ばかり。 夜のバイキングは、朝のバイキングほどいいものではないので、外に食べに行ったほうがよいかもしれないが その他の施設については、申し分ない。 周りには、それほどレストランはないが 歩いていける範囲にはいくつかある。 海辺にもレストランもあるし、ホテルで聞けば 色々と教えてくれる。 バス停が目の前になく少し歩いていかないといけないので中心地のマルベーリャまでいくのは少し手間はかかるが、タクシーでいくのもあり。 5つ星ともあり、みんなタクシーを良く使っている。 タクシーもメーター制ではなく、値段表であらかじめ 値段が決まっているので安心。 夏には、子連れも多いがプールが3つにわかれていて １つは子供用があり […] その他のプールにはないため 静かな場所も確保できる。 ネット環境がロビーのみのＷＩーＦＩのため 部屋では、ケーブルを借りてノートパソコンをするという やり方。 まぁ、でもせっかくなので電波のない生活を 過ごすのがお勧め。 周りにちょとしたものを買えるストアもないため 日焼け止めやちょっとしたお菓子系も 一度街のスーパーに出て買い出ししておくのも手かもしれません！！ そして、ここが海沿いに経営しているリゾートクラブ施設は、ぜひご活用を！海にもそのままいけちゃうし、プールでも泳げるし、エステも受けられるし（※有料）おすすめです♪ でも、全体的にのんびりできる風通しのよい 素敵なホテルでした！ Lisateave

Bel hotel confortable et agréable. Dommage qu'au point de vue restauration il est trop peu de produits frais. ( légumes poissons surgelés..) Le plus: il est accéssible et peut accueillir des personnes à mobilité reduite! Leider ist das Frühstücksbuffet nicht auf einem 5-Sterne-Level. Die Früchte waren teilweise braun. Man fühlt sich zudem etwas an eine Jugendherberge oder Kantine erinnert. Am Abend ebenfalls Buffet. Zimmer: Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön. Man vermisst allerdings einen grösseren Kleiderschrank. Längere Sachen wie Kleider oder Hosen können nicht richtig […] aufgehängt werden Lisateave

Ruime mooie kamers met groot terras en super badkamer. Zeer vriendelijk en competent hotel personeel. Locatie enorm moeilijk te vinden, zelfs met GPS.

Kanon morgenmad, flotte omgivelser, super værelser med stor balkon, ekstraordinære badeværelser, have og pool områderne absolut 5 stjernet. 250 meter til "hyggelig strand" Service - for lidt erfaring blandt personalet og absolut ikke 5 stjernet!! Ingen gratis WIFI på et 5 stjernet hotel :-( (15 euro for 24 timer) Ingen poolservice på trods af fin pool […] bar. Ingen mad ved poolen.
