Excellent service. Clean, spacious, confortable, great nreakfast, freindly. Close to restaurants, shopping centers, the Florida Railroad Museum, Sarasota, etc.

You are treated like 2nd rate citizens and given rooms that stink and have not been cared for. Old mattresses that are stained which are not covered by Bed Ruffles, the smell in the dog room about knocks you over. The guy that checked us in but us in a regular room and it was good- no problems. We left the hotel for an hour and returned to be locked […] out of our room and threatened to kick us out. Luckily, they were more reasonable and realized it was a mistake. The 2nd room we were put in was AWFUL. Don't travel with your pets to this hotel. Lisateave

Friendly management & well kept. Rooms were clean & comfortable. Close to many amenities.

Place was nice and clean. It was actually better then the timeshare we were staying in in kissimmee

One of the worst hotels I have ever been in. Dirty towels on the bed so we switched rooms. Next room had no tv and no hot water, only cold, and stained towels and roaches crawling around.

The hotel's location is convenient for Sun City Center, right next to a Walgreens for all the things you forgot to pack. The parking is reasonably close to the rooms so lugging the suitcases too far isn't a concern. The rooms, however, are older. Most of the time this is not an issue, but with older rooms came older sinks with worn-through glazing, […] turning black from dirt and/or mold. (A bit of bleach solves that issue.) The toilet and shower were okay, if you ignore a bit of mildew on a too-old shower curtain. (Also a candidate for some bleach.) The main concern was the cleanliness -- or rather the lacking -- of the pillow cases, pillows, and sheets. Fortunately there were two beds, so we could mix and match the pillows until we found the ones that smelled the least-bad. The sheets were okay, but with hairs on them it made us wonder if they were washed at all. This, too, could be solved with MORE bleach. Once we made our decent bed out of the two there, the bed itself was quite comfortable, and I slept well. Fortunately ours was just an overnight stay so much of the lack-of-cleanliness was forgotten after a thorough, hot shower. Solving this hotel's issues start with bleach. A lot of it. The hotel isn't in bad shape, it's just a bit dirtier than I would like. Even while checking in, I overheard a conversation between the front desk person and a customer calling in complaining their sheets were dirty. Bleach, people, bleach. Lots of it. And steam-clean and/or recycle your pillows occasionally. Lisateave

While the property is old, the owners/managers are working very hard to upgrade the motel. Breakfast added waffels to the earlier "continental" fare. Had some problems with the A/C, but the manager had a maintenance person at my room in less than 15 minutes. A generally nice place at a reasonable price.

The hotel room itself was clean and friendly. The exterior needed some work. The pool is hidden behind a grove of ugly bushes and there was leaves and debris all over the lawn. The staff was friendly however the continental breakfast left something to be desired. Plan on heading to McDonalds or Burger King.

The only complaint I have is that there is no elevator to the second floor. Managing luggage, etc. is really hard up the stairs. Otherwise, very satisfied with everything. Thanks!
