Really very happy with our stay. We came down for a long weekend during the off season. Even though there was some painting going on, we really enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great place to stay. Close to the gulf. Nightly light show in lake fountains. Great neighborhood. No daily maid service, but that wasn't missed too much. Full kitchen in a very clean spacious condo!

Everything was wonderful, except the pools. They had 5 outdoor pools, but the spa was not working, and they would NOT put the heat on the only heated pool! They don't put the heat on until the end of Oct....but what happens when it is cold outside? I was 80 for a couple of days, but it felt like they put ice cubes in the pools. The condition of the room was very nice. Everything was nice and clean. Downside was a little construction but it was not noisy. My only issue is that no one bought clean towels and the extra set of towels under the sink were to dry off, but no wash cloths and they wanted an extra $5. Overall, I would definently stay again.

very nice stay, close to the beach, bring your own umbrella and chairs, or pay $30 per day for 2 chairs and umbrella. no umbrellas near the pool. Pineapple Willy's restaurant near by. The food is Ok, location on the beach. restaurant is little noizy. Come at about 4-5 PM for no waiting time, other wice waiting time 25 min.

The room was better than expected and located very nicely across from the beach. We only had a few compliance about the resort. First the elevators worked great in the morning, but by afternoon, only one seemed to work half the time. We tried using the other set located on the opposite side of the resort and we waited, waited, and waited. More and more […] people crowded until we walked away and came back only to wait again. Second, the resort lobby only opens at 8 am and closes at 8 pm. I believe they should have someone for people leaving early and/or checking in early available to talk to. Third my wife hated the shower. The shower head sprays wide and at low pressure not allowing her to rinse the shampoo from her hair. I'm bald so it all worked for me. Don't get me wrong, it was nice place and I'd stay again in off peak season. They just need to fix the elevators ASAP as this was the common issue with everyone we encountered. Lisateave

The stay was great. I highly recommend this hotel to any family, and ages. The light show at night was so beautiful on the water. We loved the hotel and will visit again!!!!!!!!

The hotel is not quite finished yet (although they don't make the construction visible). However, I'm certain that my room on the 21st floor was the best room in all of Panama City Beach. If I could afford this place every time, I would never stay anywhere else. Its stupidly perfect.

The hotel was very nice and clean. Very convenient to everything you need while on vacation. The rooms appeared just as shown on the Internet. My only issue was the smell of cigarette smoke in our room. It is a non-smoking resort but yet within my room you wouldn't think smoking was a policy.

It was one of the worst vacations I have ever had. The resort rated 2.5 Stars. Hotels.com site will confuse you with the rating of the customers at 4.00. Do not stay here!

The stay was PERFECT!. THe rooms were very spacious and clean. I would return to this resort again and recommend it to anyone. The only hang up is the elevators other than that Beautiful place. I suggest to anyone to request oceanview...Breathe taking!!!!!

The location is convenient. I chose this condo based on comments of other travelers. It is not the best nor the worst. The mattresses were TERRIBLE! The top bunk (according to my son) was dirty. The carpet looks like it has never been cleaned! The tv in the living room did not have a remote. When asked about it, I was told to contact maintenance - really? […] There isn't a line listed. When I asked for extra towels, they were never received. I am also not sure if the pool is cleaned on a daily basis. The pool on the ground level was dirty; the pool on the 10th floor is cleaner and smaller. Would I return to this property? More than likely no. Lisateave

Overall we were very happy with the stay. A lot of renovations going on at the hotel and a couple of the elevators needed some work, but overall great place and would book again. Very convenient to the beach and other local attractions.

Need more elevators, while checking out of the hotel we had to wait for the elevator for 30 minutes and there was no trolleys available for the luggage

We loved this condo! Yes, the elevator wait times were a little long but that's to be expected with the size of the building. Their service was wonderful. We left an item behind and housekeeping not only searched for it and found it, they had it shipped back to us at home. It is wonderful to know that customer service still exists.

The room was more than we could ever ask for! Wonderful! The big downfall is the elevators. Give yourself plenty of time cause you will be waiting a long time to use them. We had a wonderful time at Panama City Beach mainly because of this resort. It was more than we expected. Loved having separate bedrooms and baths. Loved the easy access to the beach across the street. The tenth floor pool was great. The beach was beautiful too.

I loved the space provided in this condo. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with bunks. For the first time I did not have to deal with fighting children. Each of my boys had their own space! They loved it. I thought the 2 bed with bunks meant the bunk beds were in the second room. I was wrong. There were actually 2 rooms (one king, one queen) and a little […] niche with the bunks (sort of a loft type space). There were also 2 bathrooms. It was like being at home. The kitchen and baths were updated. The beach was right across the street. Originally we were placed on the 20th floor. My husband and I were uncomfortable being that high because access to the rooms were from the outside. The staff immediately accommodated us with a condo on a lower floor. Of course the view was better on the 20th floor than on the 8th :-). However, we still had an excellent view of the water. There were daily activities scheduled for the kids and a nightly water/lights show on the lake. I would definitely stay again! Lisateave

Hotel was under construction, which we were not told about. Access to pools and activities was difficult to get to. When I called the day before check in to confirm my room, I was told I was on the 9th floor, when I arrived I was on the 21st floor with two small kids. There was not enough elevators for the size of the resort. The elevators had no air […] ventalation and were very slow. The beach access was difficult if you have children, we had to drive from the hotel to the beach, if not you would have to come down 21 stories, cross a large parking lot, then cross 4 lanes of traffic, cross another large parking lot and find a trail that led to the beach. Cleanliness the MOST important thing to me in a hotel and this room was CLEAN - I did not find one dirty thing - no hairs, no anything. I was thrilled! I didn't even feel the need to obsessively clean the place upon our arrival, which is something I always do (yes, I am a bit over the top, which is a testament to how clean this place was)! Our family had a wonderful stay at Laketown! The resort was very clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful! Our condo was very clean and comfortable, the beds were very comfortable and the furniture was very nice and well taken care of! We will definitely be returning to Laketown Wharf!

My family and I stayed here for a weekend and it was great. The rooms were clean and very spacious. We had a choice of several different pools and the walk over to the beach only took a minute. I love being able to walk across the street to Wal-mart and some restaurantss. The view of the beach was awesome. The room was fabulous with a superb view of the ocean. We came for a girls' weekend and enjoyed it so much that we are coming back and bringing the whole family. Our favorite part was the family pool with the DJ plaing our requests!

My family enjoyed our stay!!! The pictures online and all aminities are exactly as described by the resort. We were very pleased. Kitchen accesories accomodated all of our needs, from bakeware to icecream scooper even a vac . Never once had to contact front desk . If you plan to do your own cooking, and laundry, I wld suggest purchasing your items prior […] to arrival at least 5miles away from the resort. The Walmart nearby had limited supply due to high volume of sales. The only aggrevation was waiting for the elevators to get toand from 9th floor to 1st floor. I dont do elevators so I always took the stairs, and I made it down several min. before the elevator . If you are under the impression that you can walk out of your room and onto the beach, you are mistaken. You have to walk across the street (very short distance) to the beach. Beach front view from your balcony it is, still very nice becasue you can see and hear the ocean from your balcony. I imagine if stayed on the beach by the shore the rooms wld have had an odor, stayed slippery wet and sand everywhere. Several pools for the kids and adults too. Hope this was helpful!!! Lisateave
