Beautiful hotel with an interesting history.

Peaceful location close to all sightseeing areas of Rome. You are 2 blocks from the heart of the Travastere neighborhood with restaurants and night life. You are also close to John Cabot University, so the area is full of young people. You can walk to all the major sight seeing locations in Rome. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the rooms […] are neat, clean and quiet. The breakfast buffet is very very good. No wi-fi in the room - only in corridors or the common areas. All the rooms do not have views, but that did not matter to us. We loved staying here. Lisateave

This former convent is a beautiful hotel which features a functioning chapel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only drawback is that it is not near any metro or tram lines. Plan to walk or use taxis.

The standard room.I booked.,was the most expensive rate I paid for the entire trip, hotel added 25 per night for taxes and service charge? and 6 more euro a night for city tax. ,pictured on web was of a nice room with a window. First room was unacceptable, the room had a slight step near the bathroom that caused me to trip on entering. room was switched […] by huffy girl in reception for a first floor room with a window that was very high up and heavily draped,without any sunlight. She said that another change would cost 50 euro more. Complained the next day and management relented with a great room....nice, but at these prices, every room should have a window, every guest should be well treated, every employee should be courteous... We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It is located in Trastevere - a wonderful and very authentic part of room. The service was great and breakfast delicious. It is a converted convent and there are nuns still living on the property so it does feel very authentic. The rooms that we had were on a smaller side but clean and comfortable. I AM COMMING BACK

A very cool hotel in a great location (close to great restaurants), though a bit far from the main tourist sites. The standard rooms are quite small and the beds are not the most comfortable, but the hotel itself and the outdoor courtyard and rooftop make up for that. Unlike smaller B&B's expect to pay for every little thing including water, phone, internet access; also, you must specifically request a map, restaurant suggestions, etc; for first time visitors to Rome, this hotel is a hike to the main tourist sights

Staff ere extremely helpful and pleasant

Only stayed overnight with friend in July and had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is just like the pictures in the brochure and has a unique character which makes it different from the big chains and is welcoming oasis in the heart of Rome. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were lovely. It had all the amenities you would expect in a 4 star […] hotel. Breakfast was buffet style and hot and cold food with delicious pastries and we sat out in the beautiful gardens. Stayed in other hotels in Rome but can't wait to go back for a longer stay to spend more time in the hotel and would highly recommend it. Lisateave

Superb location in trastavere.....quiet too, providing you aren't in one of the few street-side rooms. Beware....the standard rooms are very small...less than one metre either side of the bed and less than two at the end of the bed. The pictures shown are clearly of the luxury rooms. Guess what...front desk staff are useless...with very little English. […] The blinds don't quite work properly and they couldn't fix them.....so be prepared to be woken up by sunlight in the summer! No free drinking water or indication of drinkability of tap water. Hotel Santa Maria is probably better....sorry I couldn't get in there really. Beautiful building...quiet, clean rooms...decent breakfast...awful management! Lisateave

Den gamla klosterträdgården är helt underbar. När vi var där blommade magnolian och rosorna trots det var mitten av mars. Rummen är fint renoverade med bibehållen charm.

Ett tjusigt och lugnt hotell en kort promenad från hela Trasteveres utbud av restauranger, barer, småbutiker. Nära att gå till alla stora sevärdheter. Personalen var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående med hög serviceanda. Välskött och putsat både utomhus och inomhus, den lilla innergården var som en skön oas att sitta ner för en kaffe eller en drink. […] Hade gärna sett mer rörelse och folk i hotellets lobby och umgängesytor för skönt barhäng. Tyvärr användes inte takterrassen under vårt besök (i oktober), men jag kan tänka mig att den är fantastisk då den nyttjas under sommaren. Omgivningen är vacker och stilla och stadens tempo ligger på tre minuters räckhåll. Dubbelrum executive var som ett normalt dubbelrum i storlek, snyggt badrum i marmor, bra klädkammare för alla kläder, skor och väskor. Mycket fräscht hotell med bra service. En utmärkt frukostbuffe. Läget i Trastevere är bra då det är en mysig del att tillbringa kvällarna på.

au coeur du quartier de Trastevere, situation idéale pour parcourir à pied les principaux sites touristiques (Vatican, Colisée...). Un jardin des plus agréable pour prendre un petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux. Un trés bon hotel pour sa situation à la fois au calme et proche de toutes commodités. Mycket trevligt hotell belägen i Travestere. Vi spenderade 3 dagar här och var mycket nöjda. Nådde alla viktiga sevärdheter till fots. Hotellet har ett bra läge men ligger också lugnt. Under vår vistelse hade vi inte ett enda störande ljud. Rekommenderas

Een goede combi van zakelijke comfort met persoonlijke benadering van met name de dames aan de receptie. Een verzorgd ontbijt en voor hartje Rome ruime kamers. Op de kamer was een koffiezet apparaat geen overbodige luxe geweest. Wel gehorige gangen en geen WIFI in de kamer totdat je de deur open zet en je laptop, smartphone in de deuropening houdt. […] .. Très bonne adresse. Rien à redire. Le personnel est charmant et l'hôtel est luxeux. Petit déjeuner très copieux. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel où je retournerais volontiers.

Ett riktigt genuint hotell med mycket karaktär eftersom det en gång i tiden varit kloster. Många detaljer finns kvar vilket gör boendet speciellt. Vacker innergård där man kan ta en drink eller äta frukost. Vi fick ett stort rum med många fönster och ett badrum med både dusch och badkar. Promenadavstånd till de flesta sevärdheter inkl. Vatikanen. Minus […] för avsaknad av gratis WIFI men det är få hotell i Rom som erbjuder det. Lisateave

Magnifique situation et cadre de ce confortable hôtel. Mais la qualité du service n'est pas à la hauteur de ce 4 étoiles.

Bellissimo Hotel con atmosfera romantica in uno dei quartieri più noti e caratteristici di Roma a pochi passi dal centro . Ristrutturato di recente in un antico convento del 1600 mantiene ancora il clima e l'atmosfera di un tempo e offre tutte le comodità di un grande Hotel . Molto silenzioso nonostante la posizione centrale; particolarmente suggestvi […] il chiostro per la colazione in giardino e la terrazza da cui si può ammirare tutta Roma. Bellissimo il soffitto delle stanze a cassettoni ed i tessuti d'arredo selezionati. Ottima e abbondante la colazione : Forse non troppo adatto per famiglie con bambini ma ottimo per gite romantiche e viaggi di nozze . Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti ;in questo momento probabilmente uno dei migliori albeghi di Roma Lisateave

Un ancien couvent superbement rénové, idéalement placé et calme : on a adoré. A recommander pour un WE en amoureux.

Een beetje moeilijk te vinden, geen indrukwekkende buitenkant, maar van binnen uitstekend in orde. Vriendelijk personeel, uitstekend ontbijt (verse jus, vers fruit, gevarieerd brood en beleg) en goed verzorgde kamers. Vanaf het dakterras (helaas zonder bar of zitjes toen wij er waren) geweldig uitzicht over Rome. Locatie is prima. In Trastevere kun […] je lekker eten en dwalen door de straatjes, terwijl je je op ongeveer 2km, dus loopafstand, van Vaticaan, Piazza Navona, Parthenon en Trevi Fontein bevind. kortom, een aanrader! Un des meilleurs hotels de Rome. Un service et un cadre formidable. Le petit déjeuner le matin dans le jardin est une merveille. Il ne se trouve -au calme - qu'à 10 à 15 minutes du centre historique (trop animé en août)Trastevere, ce quartier, a bcp dde caractère et d'atmosphère. A recommander.
