On reaching the hotel at 3.15pm only 1 of our 3 rooms were ready. Found the girl on reception very matter of fact and not a bit apologetic. We had to wait until 5pm for the other rooms. On entering, the rooms all appear to have quite a high step, this prooved to be quite a challenge for my elderly parents and my dad did suffer a fall on the first day […] of the holidays. Also, there were no handtowels in rooms which did seem to be a problem everyday on our three day stay. No bathmat in room, floors were slippy, you have to ring reception if you want one! Have never seen this an any other hotel I've stayed in. On first glance the hotel appears to be nice but I would not be reccomending it to any of my friends especially ones with children as rooms with a step are very impractical! Lisateave

A good value,friendly well run family hotel. The room was functional, clean and tidy although the decor, furnishings and TV showed signs of age. Free wifi was available throughout the hotel. Stayed in this hotel for a family wedding. All the staff were polite, professional, very friendly and extremely helpful. One of the bridesmaids had been away and unable to try on her dress since the second fitting and found it was too big. A quick phone call to reception to ask if they knew of any tailors in the local area, but instead the receptionist […] said the hotel would take care of it, and within 30min a seamstress arrived at the room and adjusted the dress free of charge. Bother guests used the hotel spa having a mud treatment. They had never had this treatment before and did not know what to expect but made a passing comment they thought the mud would be hotter. A member of staff overheard this and they were given a €130 voucher for another treatment. The hotel is recently redecorated and looks great. The staff and management have one priority, the guests, and do everything they can for you during yor stay. A very good experience and highly recommended. Lisateave

I think my favorite part about this place is the extremely comfortable, soft, amazing bed. Rooms are nice and big, bathroom is clean and the leisure club with pool and workout area is wonderful and big!

This is a fairly standard largish hotel in a rural setting with rooms set in a sprawl on the ground floor. It is like your average big chain hotel - comfortable and fairly impersonal. We were kept up all night by a party in our hallway. When I called down to the desk at 4:15 AM, I heard the party in the background going on at the front desk as well. I told the front desk clerk about the noise levels keeping me up all night and he said he would send someone up the our hallway to check...............but the noice continued. Overall good stay. The food was great, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. The only quirky thing was that the hotel does not supply the baths with wash clothes which was inconvenient since the bath soap supplied is liquid and not as easy to use without a wash cloth as a bar of soap. the TV remote was a joke. The hotel was very reasonably priced. The staff were helpful, the rooms were a bit tired but clean with a very comfy bed. Breakfast was superb the best we had on our visit to Ireland. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our recent stay here very much. The room was enormous, and had every comfort we could have wanted. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the window not only opened, but looked out onto a pretty meadow. There was never any noise, and it was overall one of the most restful places we stayed at in a month of travel. The spa is an added […] plus, although it was a bit weird that they made us wear caps even to go sit in the jacuzzi. The pool area is beautiful and you should allow extra time to enjoy it. Everything was very satisfactory except for our room had a step up from the bathroom to the bedroom area there was a light on the front of the step but coming back you dont have any reminder and can have a nasty fall as my husband had [No serious injury thankfully but needs physio] The step needs astrip o the top .

The Hotel is around two miles from Adare, The Rooms are very comfortable and large. The beds are the best Ive slept in. Breakfast was horrible the first morning but lovely the second (different chef) Great value for money.

On arrival we were welcomed with an extremely rude lady who offered little or no customer service. Our room 304 I found to be in a very poor state of repair.the carpets were filthy to the extent that we refused to walk on it without shoes.the couch in the room was filthy and should not be in the room. Our bed was comfortable but the radiator was on […] all night and as the bed was right beside it the room was very warm but that aside I just can't say enough about that filth of the room. A friendly family run hotel on the outskirts of Adare with comfortable and spacious rooms. We dined at their Bistro, both service and portions were very good. The location is good for traveling to Limerick city or The Dingle but a car is required due to the rural location.

This hotel is a very good value option. Staff were very helpful and obliging. Breakfast and food in Timmy Mac's was excellent value. There is a superb pool, gym n leisure centre. Only drawback is that it is located a mile or so outside Adare. Overall I would recommend this hotel as a very solid, value-for-money option.

Stayed one night here with our kids. It seemed to be a family friendly hotel but to be honest there's only the pool for kids - no playground or decent outside space for them. One guy at the pool desk was very gruff, but the next day a much nicer one was there. But there's no family changing room so it means splitting up the kids. The pool itself it […] lovely and there's a kids one. I'd like to have tried the dinner but the prices in the pub were silly so we went into town and got much better deals. Just because it's a couple of miles outside of town shouldn't mean the prices are hiked up. Breakfast on the other hand was excellent - everything good quality and nicely presented and cooked, with all you could ask for.
