"Great Place to stay"
This was a great place to stay in Savannah. Close to the historical district. Has all the ammenities
We enjoyed our stay very much, the room was comfortable and in walking distance for everything. We really enjoyed the fresh hot cookies and punch. The breakfast was really good we just had a hard time getting downstairs early enough to enjoy it.

I chose this hotel because of its location relative to the historic district(s). While it was a good walk to and from the riverfront, it was a great location for other Savannah sights and very close to the Information center in the old train station. Plenty of good places to eat nearby. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with very pleasant staff […] to help. The breakfasts that were served had different hot items every day. "Clean and comfortable"
We stayed in a room with two queen size beds. The room was very large and very comfortable. The hotel itself was only a 10 minute walk to the river, and about 7 to the city market. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a basic, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Savannah!

Good hotel for those who have a car. Parking lot is next to hotel. There was an excellent restaurant a few hundred yards from the front door and a fantastic cupcake store a block away. It is across the street from the visitor's center. However, it is not that close to the main sights and would be a long walk for those on foot. "Never again!"
I almost never take the time to fill out these kinds of surveys, but I feel strongly negative about this place, and I left a day early, even though I knew I would not be refunded that night's fee. The carpet in my room was filthy, there was not enough light to read by (thanks to their "green" philosophy), and the one elevator that went all the way down […] to the parking garage was broken. When I complained to the front desk about being charged for parking under these conditions I was greeted with sarcasm. The free "breakfast" was next to unedible, coffee often ran out, etc. I'm smart enough to learn the lesson,next year I'm going back to StayBridge Suites. Lisateave

The front desk staff were all friendly and courteous, and the concierge was very helpful in making restaurant reservations for us, and advising us on places to see. "Country Inn & Suites Savannah (Historic District)"
Loved the hotel, but parking was a nightmare. They charge you $10 a day even though that's the rate of the parking garage right across the street. Hospitality was great. Pool was nothing to brag about.

Great location, walking distance to historic district. Room was very clean and quiet. Staff is very pleasant. Overall a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely stay again. They serve very delicious cookies at 5:00 p.m., but if you are not there at that exact time you won't get any and they don't put more out when the tray is empty.

Compared to our previous stay at this hotel,my Wife and I were disappointed in this stay. We were assigned a ground floor room that offered no privacy from sidewalk and street traffic unless drapes were closed at all times, which resulted in a dark environment on a beautiful, sunny day. My wife had internet transactions related to her business that […] she was unable to complete due to the low signal strength of the wireless service available in our room on the ground floor. The quality of the breakfast was good, but the mess that those consuming it created was difficult for hotel staff to keep tidy. "Great location"
This hotel is located in a quiet part of the historic district. Easy to walk to many parts of the city. Also, near the Visitors Center. Staff was very helpful and our room was very nice. We enjoyed our stay.

We were greeted on our check in by two very friendly clerks and the service got better from there. Our room was very clean and nicely appointed. Wi-fi connection was flawless. Breakfast was exceptional. Actual real china and glassware. Very good service and food quality. Very happy experience.

"Ghetto Hotel"
This is ghetto hotel, this place is a dump, won't recomend it to my worst enemy. Service is terrible, and someone in that hotel use my credit card number to order somthing from walmart.com, and immediately report it fraud.
"Convenience"
The hotel was very convenient to the historic area. it is 1 block from the visitors' center. We parked the car and walked everywhere. The riverfront area is about a 20 minute walk. We will stay here again when visiting Savannah.
Excellent staff. Room was very clean. Bathroom was well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Bed was very comfortable. I was on the 5th floor, so I experienced no noise. Breakfast: Quite a large variety of food to please even the pickiest of eater. Definately would stay there again.

Only block from Visitors Center and free Dot bus. Very quiet in room, because of heavy door. Didn't hear neighbors. Breakfast wasn"t much but it was free. Cookies and punch at five pm. Underground hotel parking is $10. Go to Henry's for breakfast on 28 Drayton Street- I had shrimp and grits and husband has large eggs/meat/pancakes. Very friendly staff […] and reasonable. Lisateave

"Great Accomodations without a Vehicle"
The Hotel has very little Guest Parking for vehicles - and Desk Clerk informed us that an arrangement has been made to park across the street and a paid lot at no charge to guest then charged us $10.00 per night to park vehicle at the paid lot. "Savannah Getaway at Country Inn Suites"
The hotel was clean and inviting. It location was within walking distance to the visitor center, history museum and railroad museum. The DOT bus is only 1 block away for a quick ride to the other must see sites. Free breakfast was good start for a day of adventure. The only draw back was car parking, I am not sure why it was an additional fee.

The staff was extremely helpful with any request or question no matter how small and always so pleasant and cheerful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

In spite of the unimpressive exterior and the repaving of the road in front of the hotel, we had an excellent experience. Within 2 blocks of the historic district and twenty minute walk from the river front, the hotel location was excellent. Clean, though somewhat worn, room. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast - though the staff could have been […] more diligent about stocking the breakfast bar. Most noteworthy was the desk clerk, who couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. "Savannah Country inn"
Overall we had an excellent stay, the room was nice, with one small exception the carpet had stains. The staff courteous. The pool is too small to really call a pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Country Inn & Suites. Our beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean. The pool area was small, but that really made no difference. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but as we made our way through the lobby, it smelled delish. They offer coffee/tea 24/7 and have cookies in the lobby around 5 pm. The front desk […] clerk that checked us in and out was superb, Terel I think was his name. He was super friendly and even offered us directions to avoid MLK parade road blocks. We were able to check in early, which was fantastic after a 10+ hour overnight drive. The hotel is located a block away from the Civic Center. This was our first trip to Savannah so we really didn't know where we needed to be located. The hotel is a good 5-10 blocks from the main areas we ended up being, but that really was not an issue. We walked for hours around this gorgeous area. For the price we paid, I have absolutely no complaints and I would definitely stay again. Lisateave

"Good Value"
Nice. Clean. Friendly & helpful front desk staff -- replaced an entire A/C unit in my brother's room after he mentioned a problem. Deceit breakfast buffet.
Best value in Savannah's historic district. I have stayed numerous times for business. Minutes walking distance from River Street.
We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast wasn't that good but the 5 o clock cookies were awesome. I would recommend staying here.

We took our son to visit SCAD and the location was perfect, only a few blocks from the school reception area. Its easy to walk to all the school's buildings and dorms and the city markets with restaurants are close by as well.
