New, clean, quiet rooms with a bed that was so comfortable. Breakfast area was large and the breakfast was terrific. I especially liked making my own Texas-shaped waffle that was surprisingly light + fluffy. The staff was very pleasant and readily available should I have needed them. Crickets were rampant in the room and bathroom. the bathroom tissue could easily be replaced with the Sears Catalog, and the towels were like drying with sandpaper. We arrived before normal check in time and were admonished for it. I told the clerk if the room wasn't ready we would check in later, however, the room was ready....go figure? This hotel is a good value for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The clock didn't work, and was replaced right away. The A/C was a bit loud, but we are not used to A/C. The breakfast was the only disappointment. The waffles were not very good-they need a new batter mix. Sometimes the other hot selection was just okay, or gone. "I am glad it was only one night."
The only issue I had with my hotel room was that the towels we used in the bathroom were just that used. I noticed when I grabbed to use the towel that there was human hairs still stuck on it.
