We stayed just for the week-end. And are stay was very comfortable. The personals were very freindly and helpfull. The room was clean (and that was VERY important for me !!) My friends told me that they were very satisfied with the breakfast... (I don't know.. I don't eat in the morning ) Overall we all enjoyed our stay at this hotel...

Lobby was inviting and staff was very pleasant. We had a nice room which is expected of Holiday Inns...clean, comfortable, good internet service. Location was perfect, near function that we attended in Yarmouth and close to the shops of LL Bean. Morning breakfast lacked a few things...juice machine was not working; but, staff went out and bought juices. […] Pancake machine was not working (I think it needed filling; but, staff was busy with juice and check outs). Over all quality and quantity of food presented lacked pizazz... But, we would stay there again. Lisateave

The hotel was in a perfect location to shops and restaurants. Also very easy access to highway. The room could have been cleaner. The furniture was dusty and half drank water bottles were left in the refrigerator. Continental breakfast wasn't worth going to. The staff was very friendly!

everything was great except the breakfast, it was cold inclusive the coffee! at 7:00 am no more milk, no more pancakes, no OJ and this happen every day. Bedside that very clean, very friendly personal. We call for more soap and they said go to the front desk to get it. i could not believe it

This hotel is very convenient to Freeport shopping. Physically the hotel was very good. The breakfast is another story. Cardboard eggs,usual breads, cinnamon buns very sweet, coffee weak. If I stayed here again I would have breakfast at the Sunshine Cafe across the street and pay for it

I found that this hotel is very noisy becuase of it proximity to he highway. All we could here were the trucks travelling up and down the highway right behind the hotel.

We enjoyed our stayed there, everything was clean and comfortable, the only thing that we didn't enjoy was that there was barely any hot water. We had to shower with lukewarm water. Otherwise it was a good experience. Good breakfast too.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was convenient to both Portland and Freeport.

The rooms were like new and very comfortable. It was quiet and very clean. The upkeep of the hotel was perfect. The front desk was not staffed much of the time (especially when we checked out) but not a deal breaker. The 'breakfast' left much to be desired, however. The food was not appealing in appearance or taste! This would have been a great plus […] since we had to get up for an early conference an hour away. We chose DD instead! Lisateave

The cost of the room was too much for one night. The hot tub was inoperative and they checked us into a handicap room. We realized it after we unpacked, and did not want to move rooms again so we stayed in that room. Had some difficulty with check in. The person at the desk did not realize that I had paid for the room through Expedia and took my credit card. It was resolved but took another person to rectify the situation.

Location was handy since it was right off the freeway and an easy drive into Freeport. I recommend asking for a odd number room for a room away from the loud freeway! The breakfast was subpar, but complimentary ones always are. The front desk girl suggested the Muddy Rudder for dinner and it was awesome!!! We enjoyed their lobster bisk, scampi and steamed […] lobster and it was amazing!!!! Lisateave

The Holiday Express Inn in Freeport was perfect for our needs for the weekend we spent there. Friendly staff, spacious, quiet rooms rooms with comfortable beds, microwave, refrig and coffee maker, complimentary breakfast included, heated indoor pool and exercise machines all made it a very pleasant stay!

Hi, The service at the desk (check-in) was friendly and welcoming- overall good and the room passable - though the hallways were worn-out and dingy. The complimentary breakfast was also very dark and dingy - the food options were limited (in comparison to other similar hotels) and breakfast was generally unappealing except for the cinnamon buns (which […] were in crazy abundance). The hotel is conveniently located - close to both the highway and to the town of Freeport. There are also several restaurants within a mile or so. The service was good and the room comfortable. We had an initial problem logging in to the wifi with two laptops but an new login number from the front desk resolved that. The breakfast room was a good size […] and the offerings average. Overall the hotel was clean, neat and comfortable. It was convenient to the highway as well as all Freeport shopping areas. Not necessarily walking distance, but just a few minutes down the road.

Very clean hotel, courteous staff. The room was large and layed out well. Small details were appreciated. The only complaint was that the bed was a little hard for my taste.

Room was clean. Matress and all linens were of 1st quality. Personnel were friendly and very helpful recommending restaurants, etc. We would stay there again.

This is a pretty new hotel. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Only 1 big negative: the pool and excercise rooms close at 8 p.m., which is unusually early. On my recent vacation, I stayed in 9 hotels. The earliest the pool closed was 10 p.m at the other hotels.
