The stay had no blips or anything to complain about. It wasn't spectacular but it had all the amenities that were needed. Wifi, lots of pillows, towels, hair dryer etc. The breakfast was very weak and the hotel needs maintenance/renovations. Other than that, it was good price for what it cost.

This was the second time staying at this hotel and we actually got the exact same room both times. So no real complaint since we enjoyed our room the first time. The ONLY complain I have is that I noticed there was a gatorade bottle and soda can under the bed close to the head of the bed. Its understandable they may have just not noticed it, but I did […] and it bothered me. In addition there were no towels in the room when we first arrived. 1. When there's a "trick" to turning on your shower, of which apparently only the front desk clerk knows about. 2. When your hotel bed is so excruciatingly hard, where you'd be better off sleeping on the floor as opposed to the bed itself. 3. When you have to yet again employ trickery to ensure that the light socket is completely secured flush to […] the fall, and not falling out (wires exposed and all) in order to have your phone charged. 4. When you begin to question whether or not another shower is needed after your brief night of "sleep," because the cleanliness of the bedding is bringing out doubts. As you can guess from above, this is not a recommendable hotel. You actually get far below the value of what you pay for a night's stay. I'd suggest maybe paying a bit more for one of the more reputable hotels that Pasadena has to offer. Lisateave

The Day's Inn was suitable for resting your head. I wasn't looking for anything else. There are many motels on Colorado Boulevard, all very similar in nature, so the price was reasonable and they had accomodations.

I was visiting my brother in Sierra Madre, and this hotel was right off the freeway, just a few minutes travel to his house. EXTREMELY convenient! Parking was a bit cramped, but the room itself was clean and comfortable.

It's average. I just didn't like that all the room doors faced the street. So there wasn't much privacy.

The front desk employee is very friendly and informative, we arrive there late @ night or early morning almost 1am...the guy is very pleasant,...definitely will use that hotel again.

pro: 1. The breakfast provide was ok.. 2. Everything in the room works as expected. Con: I had reserved a room with 2 double beds on hotels.com. However when i checked into the hotel, they gave us a king bed with an extra airbed. That was dissapointing given the airbed was not comfortable and properly inflated.

Close to the freeway, the lady at the front was really nice and helpful. I only stayed one night, it was nice and clean. Wasn't too loud at night and theres plenty of good places to eat within in walking distance! After reading some of the reviews, I was a bit worried about staying at this hotel. However, I was relieved to find out that the only complaint I would agree with is that there is not ample on site parking, which forces many people to park on the street. While older, the hotel is well maintained and is inviting from the outside. The rooms are big enough […] and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows(5 for a king). Although the hotel is on a busy street and not very far from the interstate, it wasn't very noticeable once the door was shut. The walls are a little thin, but that is common in older hotels. The bathroom is nice and I do like that the sink and vanity is seperate from the shower and toilet, there by allowing two people to get ready at the same time if needed. The microwave and the fridge worked very well. There is a restaurant(Coco's) just a couple blocks away. A nice hamburger spot(Tops) less than a block away and a gas station/store just beyond that. I would definitely recommend this place and will stay here again on my next trip. Lisateave

I am not sure if this is a typical thing for this particular hotel, but there were some rough characters staying at this hotel. I noticed a guy with a lot of tattoos standing in his open doorway smoking when I went to my room just 2 doors down. Now tattoos are fine and all, but this guy had them on his eyelids! Ouch. Not to mention he was missing half […] of his teeth. Here is the kicker though. The next time I saw him the following morning, he was layed out on a stretcher and being loade into an ambulance in the hotel carport. There were about 5 police cars also and a fire truck. I had to answer police questions too since the man had apparently been stabbed in his room. On a happier note, my room was so well insulated, I didn't hear a thing. Yay for that at least. Lisateave

The hotel looks clean and inviting. I had read an earlier review that said that the rooms smell. That was an accurate statement - there is a strong smell in the rooms, but I can't tell what it is.When I turned the air conditioner on to freshen up the room, the smell from that was worse. It almost smelled like urine, mold or something else unpleasant. That […] being said, we had no problems otherwise. The staff made our bed, took out the trash and brought fresh towels daily. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in in a long time. Usually I wake up with a horrible backache when staying in a hotel, but I did not have any back pain the first two nights (stayed 3 nights). That was a blessing. It's a Days Inn. You get a pretty nice room, comfy bed and bathroom for a good price. The free internet, fridge, and microwave are a plus. Great spot to relax! Very quiet & clean. Right near the 210 highway and the LA Metro Gold line too. A Cluster of restaurants are nearby when you get hungry and you also have a laundry to wash your clothes -- and free wireless internet. I'd highly recommend this spot.
