It was perfect. The rooms are very nice, beds are VERY comfortable, pool was great, hot breakfast was awesome, all though they did run out of plates, silverware, and some food for a short period of time, and it took a little bit for them to get it out, but it wasn't a big deal, there were a lot of people to feed!! Our group was in town on business to attend a convention at MBay. HHS is in very close proximity to the airport and convention center (about 5 minutes). We rented a car, but they also have free shuttle service to take you to the Strip and airport. If taxis are more your gig, I'm sure a phone call can get one there muy pronto. The rooms we had were […] 1-bedroom suites - very comfortably-sized and very practical for our purpose. Essentially we roll in at midnight after a long day of walking, meetings, drinks, dinner and schmoozing, and then getting up early the next morning to do it all over again. It's not the Bellagio, but then again, we paid less than $100/night while a major convention was in town, compared to the $568/night for a basic room at MBay where the convention was being held. The free breakfast was your basic scrambled eggs, a somewhat tasteless meat, mixed fruit (maybe out of a can or from the freezer), make-your-own-waffles, plus cereals and breads. Not so bad for free, but don't expect much more. This place seemed great for families, probably due to price, room size and free breakfast. For us it was a great to be able to walk directly to our room without the 10-20 minute meandering through smoke- and noise-filled casinos laden with drunken idiots that you find in all the strip hotels. We will probably return here (or to a similar non-casino venue) next year for the same show and avoid the hustle and bustle a d traffic surrounding the Strip. Lisateave

Having stayed recently at two other Homewood Suites in SoCal, I expected quality service, clean rooms, and a comfortable stay. I was not disappointed. The staff at breakfast (a guy and girl team) were extremely kind and accommodating- even to late arrivals. The shuttle to Mandalay is convenient. Upon arrival we were given a big room since it was available, which was very nice. We all fit comfortably and my husband and I had our own bathroom and separate bedroom from the kids. My only complaint is that the fan made a strange noise early in the morning, which woke me up and then there was construction next door which was loud early. the rooms were large and comfortable. They offer a shuttle service to the Strip and the airport which was great (didn't have to drive in the crazy traffic). Plus, a lot less than the downtown hotels.

I was just looking for a less expensive hotel close to the airport for my last night in Vegas and saw they had a free airport shuttle and free internet, so I took it. Hallways aren't the snazziest, but the rooms are very nice and roomy. I also didn't realize they had a free 24 hour shuttle (once per hour) to Mandalay Bay. We typically vacation in Nevada twice a year, and for the past several years we have been staying here whenever we are in Vegas. The hotel is conveniently located just off the Strip between the airport and the auto rental return depot. We return our rental auto, the hotel shuttle picks us up and brings us to the hotel, and then the next morning delivers […] us to the airport. The hotel is well-maintained, has a beautiful lobby and breakfast room, and the guest suites are immaculate and well-appoiinted. The dark wood furniture, wood flooring, kitchen area complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave & coffee machine, flat screen HD TVs in both the bedroom and living room all work well, and the furniture is quite comfortable! It was a perfect location for my purposes. They have a shuttle to get you to the strip, but it's far enough removed from the crowds. Close to the airport and rental car drop off. I'd stay there again.

Stopped here on way to California. Staff was curtious and able to give us request of ground floor by upgrading us at no charge. It is right by shopping center and not far off strip. Offer shuttle service to both. Great breakfast as well. Clean and well kept. Will stay again.

For the price, hotel was safe,clean and quiet.Staff was friendly and professional. Very fast check in, free breakfast was great, express check out was convenient. Only two downsides, no safe and bed was too soft.

The room looked exactly as it was in online photos. It was spacious, clean, quiet. Ample pillows but bed was a little soft for my back. Overall though it was perfect. I loved love this hotel. I am 26 and normally prefer staying on the strip since it is closer to clubs and bars but this hotels accommodations made me change my mind. For starters the rooms are big. The best thing in my opinion is the free 24 hr shuttle service that takes you from your hotel to the Mandalay bay and also picks you up every hour if you call them saves you money on taxi if your planning on drinking. The hotel is only literally like 3 to 5 minute drive to the strip. The service was great my sisters baby got sick and she was not able to come to Las Vegas and she had purchased non refundable rate rooms and the hotel manager gave us a full refund for her room purchase. Overall this hotel is great clean. Safe neighborhood and great attentive staff. Will definitely be staying here again. Lisateave

We only stayed for one night and got a really great deal, but it was fantastic! The hot breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. The only thing we didn't love were the bouncing kids in the room above us. We would highly recommend this room to everyone! Excellent place to stay, prices go down for the weekend which the opposite of the rest of the places in Vegas. The reason is that they don't provide a complimentary dinner on the weekend! Great suite, if you are on the inner courtyard you don't hear any traffic or plane noise but you do hear the pool crowd until 10 PM or so.

I thought that the room was very nice. It was comfortable and clean and had everything that we needed. They do provide a breakfast in the morning, which was pretty good. I was not impressed with the front desk when I checked in or that evening, they were not rude, but were not friendly either. We went to the pool and there were no towels. When I went […] to the front desk to ask for towels, I was told they were in the box. I told them I had checked and it was empty. They acted like they didn't believe me and said they'd send someone out. It took someone over half an hour to come and they only brought five towels. It covered our group, but not the other swimmers there. Overall service was good, polite and helpful. Our one bedroom was lacking a bit (dirty towel, no extra blanket etc for pull out), however, staff rectified very quickly. Shuttle service good. Breakfast included and good. We didn't use any of the hotel amenities but what we saw seemed good. Biggest complaint was mattresses on both the pull out and bed […] itself. I specifically asked before booking the condition of pullout mattress and was told it was great. My friend opted to sleep on the half couch/love seat rather than sleep a second night on the pullout with springs in her ribs... and she is a tall person! Fridge and a/c too noisy for sleep. Mattress in bedroom very soft, I got up with aches and pains. Unfortunately the lack of sleep for two nights put a damper on an otherwise good hotel. Lisateave

Are you looking for a great place off the strip? This hotel is a must. Close to McCarron and comes with free breakfast and free dinner. Coffee in the room and excellent WIFI throughout the hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Did not use pool or gym. Stayed 3 nights. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of food on the one day we ate later (at 9:30- served until 10:00).
