This hotel was just what we needed. The room was a good size. The breakfast display was perfect. And as for the hotel itself; it wasnt dirty, nor run down. We will probably stay again if we need to.

I liked it, stores were walking distance and so were places to eat. A couple of the receptionest were with drawn and were not personable.

We spent 2 nights at the Quality Inn. Our room was ready for us when we got there. It was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were tiny. The curtains were very heavy and great at blocking out the light. It was great to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. This hotel is reasonably comfortable but not in the best condition. The jacuzzi didn't work, the carpet in our room was mysteriously wet in one spot when we got there, etc. The beds were comfortable though and the room came with a free breakfast that was convenient. The biggest factor in this hotel is its location. If you're wanting to go dipnetting […] or fishing on the lower part of the Kenai River then this is a convenient place to stay. Lisateave

its a decent hotel. its a very good location being right on the kenai highway. very close to everything and walking distance to walmart. thats a big plus. kenai is pretty quiet at night. the other thing i wish hotels would do is have memory foam pillows instaed of standard ones.

The front desk was so helpful! I had to call to change reservations for the place that I work. Instead of seeming inconveinienced or annoyed the person who I spoke to was very helpful and nice. I didn't actually stay there but my co-workers who did said it was a very good place to stay and that the hotel was very relaxing to go to after a day of construction […] work. Lisateave

The hotel is ok, the location itself is very convenient, right next to the airport. Also very close to restaurants and stores. It is not a luxurious hotel, but the room is clean and comfortable, has refrigerator and provides free wi-fi. Hotel provides free breakfast at the dining area which is also a nice touch. My hotel room has a tissue stuffed in a water sweat spot above the bed. The blankets were rough, but the down blankets were nice. I asked for a second. The fridge was nice. I think I forgot my snack inside it. I hope they remember to dispose of it. The floor carpet seemed old and I didn't want to walk on in bare foot. The speakers went out on my TV […] the second night. I had to move rooms. The room across the hall, the window was stuck open. I didn't move into that room. I moved into the next room over, it was the same as my previous room. It too had a water sweat spot. Overall the exterior is hideous. The room is clean but old. The bathroom had fake marbel shower walls, the toilets did have a "cleaned for you" seal on the toilet seats. That was nice. The staff were nice. The breakfast was all junk food. Sugar cerals, dense bisquits (not light) for bisquits and gravy. Someone before me burnt a waffle on the waffle iron. I think it will take 2 to 3 waffles before the burnt crumbs come out. The juice was good. The eggs, and sausage and bacon looked alright but I don't like such heavy food for breakfast. I ended up with a blue berry bagel, although I do understand those are not good for me either. Trash recipticals are small, but they have a few in the room and that was convienant. I had to walk upstairs with my bags - no one to carry them up for me. It was hard as it was filled with text books for my class work I have to comeplete over the weekend. Lisateave

Rooms are small, dark, and musty, the building is so old it should have been torn down and rebuilt long ago. You can hear people in another room talking and watching tv. Front desk person seems to not know/not care much about the hotel procedures nor the requests from guests. To our request to do an early checkout and make sure there are no outstanding […] charges we were threatened with a police.... Would not stay again nor would recommend to anyone else, worst experience ever! Lisateave

The hotel was nice as a hotel with no complaints. They had a business center, free breakfast, fitness, etc. The rooms were more than fine in terms of comfort and what not. However, the hotel is located in suburban hell between a Walmart, lowes and home depot. Being on vacation in the kenai peninsula, we had envisioned a more quaint location.

The Quality Inn Kenai is a good value for a budget hotel. The room was clean and in general good repair, though the pane of glass in the window was cracked, and the toilet made an odd moaning sound when refilling. The room was a bit warm, and the fan they had was noisy, so unless you were a heavy sleeper, it wasn't of much use. The core features of […] what you need in a hotel stay were more than adequate: Clean sheets, floors, counters and bathrooms. The security cameras in the hall made me wonder if there were issues with safety, but we had no problems. The surrounding neighborhood is a car wash, Lowes hardware, and a WalMart. Staff was friendly and helpful, though the TV in the lobby was rather loud when we arrived (Employee on break/close of shift was watching it). To her credit, the staff member checking us in recognized this and turned it down. We did not use the pool or hot tub, so we can't comment on the state of repair or cleanliness. However, they did have a very nice continental breakfast in the morning, which is more of a full breakfast than just cold cereal and breads: Eggs, sausage, fruit, waffles, cereal, pastries, juice and coffee... All were fresh and well prepared! I rated the hotel as high as I did as our expectations were a bit low when scheduling reservations. As stated, it is a good value for a budget hotel. The comfort of the room was quite nice, and the hotel staff was friendly when needed. My only criticism would be a small/tight bathroom, especially for two people who like to shower together, but otherwise a very satisfying stay. Great price if you're in a pinch and need a room.

The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly. The continental breakfast offered a large selection: waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juices. The pool and hot tub were a welcome way to unwind after a day of travel with the kids. Complimentary newspapers were also available.

This is an older property, originally the "Kings Inn." Heavily built building with double windows, metal siding, and absolutely ancient direct-vent wall furnaces; typical for Alaska construction of it's age. Room and hotel was clean, although the building layout was strange and awkward. They provide a (salt-water!) pool and hot spa; pool was *freezing*, […] hot tub too hot. Beds were new and comfortable.
