I loved the place, as soon as I walked in. It's very roomy and the ocean view was wonderful. It's a home away from home. Now if you're used to room service every day this Is not the place. Very cozy, comfortable, & clean! Bed was awesomely comfortable & I slept like a queen! It is a bit tiny for 3 adults but overall it was a great stay!

We arrived around 9:30 on Friday. There is no lobby, but a small office which operates on standard business hours and Saturday. They are available by phone after hours. We had to call someone for the lock box code to retrieve our room key. There were staff in the office on Saturday morning to handle any business needs. The office staff was helpful and […] friendly! There was little to no housekeeping. You are responsible for taking out your own trash, requesting toilet tissue (we ran out Sunday evening but there is no one on-site all day on Sunday so you have to either ask ahead or go buy your own...who wants to call a private number at midnight on Saturday for toilet tissue....so we used Kleenex), and swapping your own linens. They don't come around and ask if you need linens, you have to take your dirty ones down to the lobby and trade them for clean ones. But since there's no service on Sunday, you better plan well to avoid having to use dirty wash cloths and towels. I can't say that I'm unhappy with our stay. For $45 a night for an ocean front room, I can't complain. I only wish it had been explained on the website prior to check in. I would have paid an extra $10 a night to have someone take the trash and replenish the linens and toilet tissue while we were out during the day. Lisateave

Loved our stay. Wasnt crazy about there not being a 24 hour lobby and no way to get towels,etc. on the weekend. The only downfall for us is we were given free wifi but couldn't get any signal to use it. However we would definitely stay again.

Not glitzy but the perfect place for my husband and I. He has arthritis and difficulty walking, especially in sand. The giant hotels around us would have required a 15 minute walk just to get away from our room and to the beach. Jade Tree is so close, it's about like having a house at the beach. The staff was great, the room was very nice, and the location was even better. I was a little hesitant to stay here because the building was old and it didn't look as fancy as the big high rise hotels but we had an awesome time and we will definitely come back. This was a nice surprise for what kind of place you usually get for the price, there was some dust on the ceiling fixtures but everything else was spotless, the room had all the stuff a large resort has for the price of a hotel chain. Will definently stay again.

We were overall pleased, but the location was the greatest thing about this place. It's located right on the beach and all the rooms are oceanfront! The bathroom was pretty clean, but we had to clean the showerhead to get rid of red mildew that had not been cleaned off. ( Lysol did the trick.) The microwave could have used a little more attention inside, […] but overall was clean enough. The basic room we had, because there was nothing else available, was too cramped for 3 people. It would be fine for 2. The other thing we weren't crazy about was the website states that they have daily maid service available, but what actually happens is you have to go down everyday to get new towels, etc..from the maid's room on the first floor. You have to change the sheets if you want, not a maid. So, we were overall o.k. with the stay and had a good time at the beach, but don't know that we'd stay again, though, because the cost didn't quite justify the crowded stay and (lack of) amenities. I really enjoyed it. The owner is an American Lady with great manners. The hotel has a direct view of the ocean and is small enough to not worry about bumping in to people right and left. It is a neat place.

I loved my weekend stay at the Jade Tree Cove. The fantastic balcony is worth the price alone. Add in the clean room, full kitchen, clean bathrooms, and attention to details, and this place is one of my favorite destinations. I will be back!

The Jade Tree Cove Inn was the perfect place for me and my son. We were in the studio apartment and it was just the right in size. The super market was only a few minutes away and the kitchen came in very handy. We saved a lot of money eating in when it was convenient. For an older facility it was very well maintained. Went to this hotel for a weekend getaway with family. The room had a queen sized bed and a pull out queen sized bed. There was also a fully useable kitchen (not necessarily full sized). The bathroom was kinda small, but okay for the time we needed to use it. There was also a separate door that led to the balcony which over looked the beach (aahhmazing!!) […] The hotel didn't have much amenities, but the hotels next door (which this hotel has a partnership with) has many amenities which ranged from indoor Jacuzzi, sauna, weight room to the use of onsight bicycles (to rent FREE of charge for the first two hrs. ) Everything from restaurants to shops was in a 5 mile radius. Let me first say that the ONLY reason it got a slightly less than perfect review was because one of the questions was "convenience of hotel location" and I couldn't find the place at first because it's a little smaller conveniently located OCEANFRONT away from the road and behind a few bigger hotels (that only offer sideviews). That being said, this […] place is great, the room included everything that we could have asked for (dishes/silverware/cooking tools). and the view is spectacular! The hotel itself was very quaint, and offered a nice little room full of brochures and vending machines/ice machines, air hockey and fooseball tables (probably just for the kids haha). I highly recommend trying this place out before you head up the strip BUT ONLY if you enjoy a nice time at the beach with a great view and a short drive to everything (who doesn't? haha). I was pleasantly surprised to find an ocean front condo that was so reasonably priced for Labor Day Weekend. The place was great....just enough space, very friendly staff and overall just a great place to stay. I will definitely stay there again!

I would recommend hotel to those who are looking for a small hotel with very little perks like those of the larger brands. Staff is only there from 9-5 M-Sat only so if you check in after this time, you have to look for your key in their lock box. There is a separate living room/kitchen combo but it's small so not like condo's/timeshare units that some may be used to. Hotel is OF so extra nice but again nothing fancy. It's a place to sleep, rest, cook & then go out for entertainment. Definitely a great place for an inexpensive vacation as Food Lion is less than 1 mile from hotel & they provide charcoal grills free for guests to use (charcoal & fluid included.) I honestly have never been to a hotel like this one. Everyone was really nice and the ladies at the desk all reminded me of friends parents from back home making it feel even more like a home away from home. Not just that but we actually decided to stay an extra day because we loved it so much and even though we left late and they where so understand […] about it. Not just that but even though they didn't have a ton of extras like other hotels would, they did have movies you could rent at the front desk, and board games you could borrow. Plus they supplied a lot the cleaning supplies for the dishes and disk washer. If i had a family I would rent a bigger room and would feel safe and happy about it. The only problem I did have was that they didnt have a lot of office hours compared to other places. But they where always so nice, and the best part was the view. It may have rained, but I liked being able to set out on our beach front(which all the rooms are because of the set-up of the place) balcony and just sitting out there with a cigar in hand(all rooms are smoke free,but balcony is free game) just listening to the ocean. Wir waren sehr mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Wir hatten ein sehr kompfortables, gut ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer (Kühlschrank, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine) mit Meerblick. Zum Strand ist es nur einen Steinwurf entfernt. Der Pool des Hotels war zwar nicht ganz so groß, aber dadurch dass das Hotel nur wenige Zimmer hat, war es nie überlaufen. […] Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass es nur wenige Bars und Cafés in unmittelbarer Strandnähe gab. Wer also abends noch ein Bier am Strand trinken wollte musste sich mit einem einzigen Restaurant (Mango Bar) zufrieden geben. Ansonsten musste man 10 Minuten bis zur Hauptstraße laufen. Auch ist ein Auto nicht verkehrt wenn man sich in dem Hotel aufhält, da die meisten Attraktionen fußläufig schwer zu erreichen sind. Wer allerdings einen entspannten Strandurlaub mit einem wirklich fast schon familiär geführten Hotel genießen möchte, ist in diesem Hotel genau richtig. Lisateave
