Interesting location as former Shaker dwelling , near main Shaker settlement , a sort drive to Lebanon for dinner .

We had the room over the dining room, and music was turned on at 7am. It probably didn't seem loud downstairs but really resonated through the floor. I enjoyed the stay more than my husband. The breakfasts were delicious ; eggs benedict, German pancakes, and French toast I thought were delicious but the 2 carb breakfasts he wasn't as happy with because of their carbohydrate content. The bedding and room were generally clean. The bathroom had a few dust balls in a corner but the fixtures were clean. […] Our smaller less expensive room had a bathroom so tiny that my 5 foot 9 inch husband's knees hit the bathroom door when sitting on the toilet. Kathy , our hostess, was kind and friendly. The living room at the B and B is also Kathy and Joe's living room however we were out most of the day and evening so this didn't really matter to us.wifi was not always reliable in our bedroom but was accessible downstairs.The Band B is about 10 minutes from the highway and downtown Enfield. We checked in late after an all day cross country flight. We were given a room with queen bed despite the fact that we booked a king. We were told it was the last room and we were just too tired to argue about it. Breakfast was great and the proprietors were friendly and helpful.

The dining room is lovely and we had a wonderful breakfast. The room was very clean and pretty with a really comfortable bed. My husband appreciated having our own TV and bathroom, though the bathroom was quite tiny. It is a nice setting with the beautiful lake nearby, close to wonderful villages, and very convenient and easy to get to.

Kathy was an excellent host. This was the kind of experience you like to see at a B & B. Kathy made us feel right at home with coffee and fresh cookies. My colleague and I rented two rooms for overnight stay instead of traditional business hotel. It was amazing. The hotel is conveniently located within a walking distance to the local Shakers museum. We absolutely loved our room at the Inn at Shaker Farm. Cathy and her husband were such gracious hosts, and the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious as well, and all at a very reasonanle price. I would definitely recommend this lovely inn.

The owners of this B&B, Kathy and Joe are a very special and friendly couple. They served an elegant breakfast each morning. The king size bed was VERY comfortable. The area was very quiet so we had no trouble falling asleep. We highly recommend this Bed & Breakfast.

I planned a visit to Hanover, & I picked this B & B about 10 miles away. Its very close to the Shaker Museum, which is well worth visiting for 1-2 hours. The owners are very attentive and provide a home like atmosphere. There was wonderful breakfast conversation (and food) with other guests. I would definitely stay again.

A beautiful New England setting for this charming B&B. The decor was warm and comforting, the food was a 5 star rating, and the bedroom - with a king size bed- was relaxing. Best of all it was very affordable. Thanks Kathy for providing such a great place to stay.

We could not have been more pleased with our stay! We were instantly soothed by our room decorated in light blue and white and were plesantly surprised by the privacy and quiet we were surrounded by. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and we thank you for the dinner reccomendation of Three Tomatoes...Yummy! However, breakfast could not be beat...a […] simple walk downstairs and we were greeted with fresh fruit, juice, coffee, apple tart, followed by a gourmet version of eggs benedict...delish! My boyfriend and I stayed at Shaker Farm B&B for two nights, over Dartmouth's Homecoming weekend. Shaker Farm was such a charming alternative to a chain hotel. We loved our stay in the Shaker Farm B&B! The hosts were very kind and helpful in suggesting good restaurants and things to do. Both the home and the surroundings are beautiful! Very nice place. Quiet area. We ended up with the room with the queen bed on the lower level, but that actually worked out well. We had a sitting area outside our room and had immediate access to the outside gazebo. The place is spotless and the hosts were very inviting. Would go again.

I grew up in NH and have driven by this place hundreds of times - little did I know! Owners are awesome, we arrived late and waiting on the kitchen counter was a plate full of homemade cookies with a note to help ourselves to a bedtime snack.
