From the moment we pulled up to the hotel the staff was Wonderful. It was a cool atmosphere and very clean. We Enjoyed our stay. The hotel was located right on Michigan Ave. So the location was perfect to DO Chicago.

The room was absolutely tiny. Well appointed, but lots smaller than one would think from the photos. The desk chair was too low, even raised to its highest position. There was a chifferobe for a closet what could not hold more than 4 or 5 shirts (what on earth does one do in the winter in WI to hang up coats?). Also, the chifferobe was placed so that […] it blocked the room. The bed was subpar -- as were the pillows (they were horrible) but where can one get a hotel bed that is comfortable? In particular, the shower head leaked. first night after the showers we noted that there was an inch of water on the floor, or so it seemed. The ceiling above the shower head was also full of water. We mopped up the water and fixed it as best we could, but it still leaked badly, only not onto the ceiling or outside the shower. We never expected to be in the room except to bathe and sleep, so we tolerated it. The place was generally well kept and all that but you know when I go back to Madison, I'll pick another hotel. Staff were excellent; good customer service. Pool area perfect for children and clean. Room clean. Love the bar and sitting area. Great location; across the street from Aniu Day Spa. Great shopping area on Deming, crossing over University.

Nice area, further from Madison than we thought. Beautiful hotel, wish we had more time to enjoy the anemities! Room decorated beautifully, fantastic shower and toilteries provided.

Very nice, clean, comfortable. A beautiful outdoor seating area with pretty landscaping, fountain and a fire pit area. The swimming pool was perfect for our two small children. We had breakfast and that was fabulous too. We would definitely stay here again.

Room walls are very thin- our family (w/2 small kids) could heard all the adult conversations going on at 2AM from the room next to us. Desk staff responded. The following day we went to the pool-it seemed wonderful at first until we realized that someone had gone to the bathroom in the pool and pieces were spread around the pool-our daughter had stepped […] on a piece and it left a streak. We complained to the front desk. Another patron told us that they had complained the night before about the excessive waste in the pool and the staff must not of done anything to address this issue-except give them free breakfast as well. We confronted the desk about this and asked why didn't they close the pool?- they said there were 2 separate "accidents" in the pool. Later that day We asked when would the pool be ready and they said that they always need to drain the pool, clean and that it would be 1+ days before the pool would be ready. My question is why didn't they drain the pool this after the first accident -if they always drain the pool in these cases? I do not like being lied to and will not return to this hotel. Lisateave

It was the best. Loved the room and especially the beds. It was wonderful to have the rails in the bathroom. One suggestion would be to have more wastebaskets in the room. There is extra garbage with kids. My grandson loved the pool and it was perfect for him. He is five and can't wait to come back.

Room was spotless and the service was great. We stayed here with our one year old, and she really enjoyed the zero-entry pool. We had a great experience here.

Hotel was fine and it was nice that there was a full service bar on premisis and walking distance to 4 decent restaurants and a Costco of all things. Hotel room was quite clean and I'm thrilled they've switched to Paul Mitchell hair products. My TV came on every night even though the timer and alarms were confirmed to not be set. I learned others complained […] of this too - poltergeist? In summary, fine hotel for the money. Make sure you have a car if you plan to have meetings at the Marriott convention center. We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and our room was nice. Our young kids loved the pool area. The staff met our needs, had the pack and play in our room for us upon arrival, fulfilled our request for the location of the room. Great area of town.

We had a family gathering. This is a very nice new hotel. Great pool, good breakfast and fun bar area to meet in. The staff were very nice. Will be a repeat!!

This was my third stay at this hotel and while I was unable to upgrade to a whirlpool room, the staff was great and I continue to be completely happy with this hotel.

Everything has been OUTSTANDING from the moment I check in until we leave. The rooms are clean, well laid-out, have all the conveniences I look for and are quiet. The beds and bedding are great and we always get a great nights sleep. The fitness center and pool area are great - very clean and well cared for. Everything is in good working order. The […] outdoor courtyard is FANTASTIC! Lovely fire pit and great lounge chairs with a large flowing water fountain. VERY RELAXING! The location is just great - very close to several great resturantes (walking distance) and may more just a short drive away. The staff at the hotel has been most accomodating, allowing an early check-in, request for additional pillow, towels, etc. We have not ordered breakfast; however it looks to be a great selection at a reasonable price. There is also a bar in the beautiful lobby area that again, we've not yet been to, butr looks as though the guests are enjoying themselves there. Nice walking trail very near the hotel. Over the past 18 months my boyfriend and I have probably spent 12 weekends in a variety of Madison area hotels. He lives about 45 minutes from Madison and we like to be closer into the city over the weekend. I think that we've probably found "our place." Really can't think of anything else I'd wish for or change at the Madison/Middleton Courtyard Marriott. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we have! Lisateave

Our kids had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were given a Nickelodean bracelet and activity book at check-in. The pool was awesome for kids of all ages which is very unusual at hotel pools. The only downside was that we had some very loud neighbors until 3:30 a.m. I called the front desk to complain but the noise continued. Not sure if the walls are […] that thin or just extra loud neighbors. All in all I would definately recommend hotel. There were restaurants nearby along with shopping as well. Lisateave

Romm was clean and comfortable. We were lucky enough to get a room on the first floor and could get in and out to our car very easily. I felt the price was very fairly priced for the quality of the hotel.

Outstanding staff, very friendly and MOST accommodating. Facility was extremely clean. Wonderful courtyard with fire pit. Location was great, felt very safe going for an evening walk alone, near a bike/walking trail. Great restaurants nearby. Will most definitely stay here again!
