I loved this resort. First time staying, but definitely not the last. The grill downstairs was an extra bonus.

The hotel was in a great location and overall very comfortable. When we walked in our room in felt like home : ) The only issue I did have was the staff upfront! The ladies were rude/short and maybe the Grand Atlantic should think about replacing them with people who have a better attitude!

It was a great stay, with one minor exception. Our room had a port hole window that faced the main road and the lights on the hotle showed through it all night. Over than that a great stay.

Great proximity to the beach. Good layout but the carpet was filthy so everything felt dirty. A/C did not work. Also, shower heads were chest high, even my kids commented on how low they were. Rooms need a good upgrade beginning with the carpet. Didn't hate it, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Enjoyed view despite raining majority of trip. Beautiful view of the beach with good weather. Easy access to roads, great little snack shop and bar downstairs in garage. Stayed in 2 bedroom suite, would stay here again! Jacuzzi helped my back after a long golf day. Parking spaces are tight if you are driving large vehicle.

This was the first time my wife and I had stayed at this hotel. We were very satisfied . The location was excellent, the room was clean and comfortable, and the employees were very friendly. We will probably stay there again.

Everything was wonderful. Parking could be an issue during busy seasons, but not while we were there in Feb.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo during the off season and we had an absolutely amazing time! The room was so nice with an amazing view from the 17th floor. The price was great since we went in Feb. I definitely recommend this resort to everyone...especially for family vacations!!! I loved it! Will most definitely return!

This faciliity is a time share. They have added some rooms at the end of the hallway with partial ocean view. Be aware that there are extra fees charged by the hotel: $4.50/night "resort fee" and $1.00/night "room safe" fee. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful, but there was one over-riding problem which accounts for my low rating. The heating/air […] conditioning units are independent of the overall hotel HAC system. They have small units in each room and they are LOUD. When we first arrived, the room was cold ... about 62 degrees. They promptly sent up a person to look at it and he found that a wire was unattached inside the unit. When the unit started up it was very loud and I mentioned this. He looked around a bit and eventually left. I thought he or someone else was coming back but that never happened. It was late, I was tired and decided to deal with it in the morning but the unit was so load that I got no sleep that night. I complained the next morning and manager explained that these units are loud ... that's the way they are .... so if you gook a room like this don't expect anything different. They did move us to a full suite for our second night. This was one of the time-share untis ... large, very nice, and QUIET. Lisateave

Room was not what I was expecting for ocean front. Master bedroom window faced the hallway instead of the view of the ocean. Beds were hard and uncomfortable, couch was uncomfortable and cushions were torn. Dishes were dirty and needing rewashed. We finally found a 1-bedroom suite that isn't the typical "shotgun" layout. Very homey feeling. Extremely clean, great staff, close to lots of activities & restaurants.

This hotel had all the comforts of home. My special request was made with no problem. My family had a great time. Parking deck is very tight for large SUV's. If you have a normal size car it will be great for you. Six floors of parking deck which is accessable directly to those floors, so great for handicap persons. Hotel room was dull and very old. No food or water available if you come late in the night. Sink knobs were lose. They have closet in side the restroom. Towels were smelling very bad. TV does not have any good channels. I travel all around USA this is most unpleasant stay in my experience.

Very roomy 3 Bedroom / 3 bath condo. Loved the oceanfront view from the kitchen. Large balcony. Kitchen had all appliances. Beds were too hard, though. Carpet was dirty; our socks got black just walking on it. Loved all of the pools and lazy river. Lots of outside loungers to sunbathe on. Maintenance came right in to fix noisy dryer. We we disappointed in this hotel. The security was was very low and people were able to come into the pool area off the streets. There were cigarette butts everywhere. Although it was posted no smoking in the hotel, the hallways and elevators always smelled of cigarette smoke. You cannot access the lobby directly from the rooms, you have to go through […] the parking ramp. Our room was very small, it had a microwave & refrigerator but no table or chairs. The bed was hard and uncomfortable with the frame jutting out that we hit our legs on. For a newer hotel on The Strand, The Grand Atlantic was anything but grand. Lisateave

The location was ok. Our room smelled and the drainage in the bath tub was not working.The bathroom shower wall very dirty. Carpets were very dirty. For the money is not worth it. We will not go back.

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. Everything was fantastic and even more than we expected. We are definitely coming back. We booked a 2 bedroom oceanfront condo and we loved the condo and enjoyed having a washer and dryer in the room to take care of the swimsuits and beach towels each night.

We booked this hotel through hotels.com, we paid in full before arriving to this hotel. What a disapointment. From the parking, to the room to the customer service it was all wrong. I will be brief, The parking was very tight and uncomfortable, the front desk personel didn't care less about our issues because they got paid in advance so, no help from […] them. The most disgusting of all was floor #7, as soon as we left the elevator there was a overwhelming sewage odor that was unbareable, the carpet was beyond stained, it was past due replacement, I doubt shapooing would do any good to it. The room was strongly sprayed with air freshener as to maskarade the bad odor, the furniture cheap, the bed spreads were very cheap and raggy. Next morning when I went to pick up my breakfast from a next door restaurant, I saw a huge coackroach on the wall in the parking lot, needless to say I couldn't wait to go out of there. If I hadn't arrived after 10 pm with a two year old child who was very sleepy, I would have attempted to find an other hotel right then and there. The only good things were the ocean front view from the room and the swimming pools. we ended up finding a great hotel, just the oposit in every point, the Grande Dunas, for just few dollars more per night and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable time there. it said ocean view and when we got there you had to lean over the banister to even see the ocean... toilet kept running and the door would mess up where it wouldn't automatically lock when you close it anybody could open our door without a key.

My stay at the Grand Atlantic was a good experience. We had and ocean front view which I never had before. I was so relaxing to sit on the balcony and view the Atlantic and all the cool breeze from it. The condo was 3 bedrooms and very spacious. Staff was very pleasant and took care of all our needs. The only negative I have are the beds. The mattresses […] are very hard and kept me up at nights. But overall a good place to stay for the money. Lisateave
