In general is fine but in the front desk the lady who did our check in was terrible...definitely this hotel have to select better staff at the front desk. Before was excellent team in the front desk but now is terrible... In the restaurant the staff is great are very efficient and friendly. The location is pretty nice near of everything in walking distance […] and safe in general. I'm a frequently customer but I do not agree with the new team of staff in the front desk. Lisateave

Stayed from March 28 - April 1 in two rooms. Hotels is situated right next door to a very beautiful mall called La Gran Via the mall has all the big name brands stores. Check in was pretty easy. Staff was friendly. We went to the bar restaurant a few time with my nephew and father and it was good food. Waiter Gerardo was very nice saw him the four days […] working straight but he would say the same line everyday to us as if he didn't remember us. That I guess was funny. But he was great. I had a great time, Food was very good, lots of choices including amerianc food and natural juices. Pool is small but very pleasant. Next to the hotel, you will have a nice upscale mall..La Gran Via. Many restaurants and shopps. Very safe to walk any time of the day or night. will go back again.

This Marriott is nicely located near an interesting urban development model--pleasantly situated between good and upscale. The hotel is nice and clean, the staff exceptionally friendly--case in point, I was sitting in the lobby, some distance from the bar, and the manager walked out of his way to see if I wanted anything...same for all the staff. The […] "Estilo de Vida" located across the way was clean and vibrant, with lots of El Salvadorians (vs. tourists:) and an array of restaurants, including a wonderful Peruvian one, several coffee places, a salon, etc. I was only there for two days so my review is a bit limited but a good experience! It is amazing how this hotel came down so fast, it is being just 5 months since the last time we visited and now it looks rather old and dirty. I am sorry to rate 3 on quality of the staff, because is probably the only one good thing this hotel still have, the reason I had to do this is because there was this one employee that treated us like beggars, […] we needed to stay one more night and we understood if this could not be done, but the way this guy treated corporate staff traveling with us was awful, he even made a comment to us, since we had two double rooms, meaning the four of us could stay in one room, which was humiliating, how can they allowed people like this at the front desk, is unacceptable, I will rather stay in the car than in this hotel, never again! besides, is not even worth it, it does not have a proper restaurant, the business center is just four seats besides the front desk and now it looks old and dirty. I will not recommend it at all!! if you are looking for old school service and crisp cleanliness, try the Clarion, just reserve with time because most of the times is fully booked and still ultra clean! just don't try the clarion hotel is you smoke. The hotel is located in pretty good location, walking distance from shipping center, restaurants where you can choice good variety, cinema, coffee places where I recommended inside of the shopping center in the second floor have high quality of coffee with nice view to the city. Very standard, nice business hotel. Great location if you want to be able to walk to movie theaters, restaurants and shopping. Pool area was pretty basic, but there was some green space. Staff at the reception desk were very nice. Overall - nothing special, but very convenient and what you'd expect from a Marriot.

Location is excellent, a little noisy on weekends because of the mall, but it dies down around 11pm. The staff is the most professional and capable staff I have ever met. This usually reflects excellent management. I lost my wedding ring, as soon as I informed the staff they had the room searched up and down (I was checking out on my way to the airport). […] I left the hotel. An employee caught up to me on the parking lot to fill out the lost and found form and took the transport's cell phone number. Less than 10 minutes later the driver received a call that my ring had been found. Driver turned around and we picked up the ring. Only mark down was due to having a bad air conditioning and not nets on windows to prevent mosquitoes from entering the room (so you could not leave the window open). Lisateave

Everyone in this hotel is super nice & friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. The quality of rooms is great, and it is next to a shopping plaza, mall & movie theater. My only real complaint is that I'm a wheelchair user and the "accessible room" has a bathtub, not a roll-in shower. Otherwise, great place! The staff was very helpful and courteous, from the security guy to the cleaning lady. No negatives there. Close to many sights including the three malls that are next to each other. Breakfast was great many usual local recipes, although more options would be great. Room was clean. Arriving at the hotel was easy and conveniently located withing the Via Grande Mall. It was very pleasant to lodge and the room was clean and neat. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

We are very very picky travelers, specially when it comes to cleanliness, this hotel is in deed superb, the restaurant is really small, but you don't need it because aside is the best mall in San Salvador and you can get to a wide variety of great restaurants just waliking five minutes, almost every kind of restaurants from suchi to steakes to snacking, […] department stores, singature stores, the are is 100% safe, it feels like walking through enchantment land. The staff at the hotel is really helpful and attentive to every request, the very courteous. Parking lot available. Gym a little small but it serves the purpose if you are really into it. Great laundry service. We took a standard rooms because th suite was not available, for a standard rooms it was pretty good space we did not miss the suite. Overall is the most confortable and clean hotel and with the best staff we had been in the last three years around the world. There are many other nice hotels in El Salvador, we've tried them all but no one like this. No complaints AT ALL. Lisateave

They were painting the exterior at the time and apologized for that. The staff were very helpful, thoughtful, and kind. The room was nice. I can't give it 5 stars but for the price is were comfortable and I was pleased. The location to the heart of San Salvador is perfect. I went there for the weekend and find it very nice and clean, all appliaces work as they should, very fast internet and well located if the reason for going to San Salvador is liesure becuase it is located across the street from the top malls, bars and dance clubs. Very polite and warm staff. I'll definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel to stay in El Salvador, good location, security, and helpful staff. I think the only down side is that there is no room service 24 hours and the rooms don't have microwaves; however, it is not a big deal. The hotel is definitively a 5 stars place.

We stayed here for Christmas Eve as well as New Year's Eve (due to connecting flights on our trip to Roatan). For Christmas Eve we had little Santa and snowmen ornaments on our bed. For New Year's they offered a wonderfully delicious buffet with beef, pork tenderloin, and carved turkey, along with wine, that was relatively inexpensive. The wait staff […] are phenomenally sweet while thoroughly professional. Our room was plenty quiet (even on holiday nights), and they had a cab waiting for us each morning. Highly recommend! I have stayed three or four times in the Courtyard Marriott in San Salvador. The hotel itself has all you would expect of such a hotel. The attitude and friendliness of the staff is excellant. One of the best features is not even the hotel itself, buts it's location next to the Gran Via shopping Center. I stayed one night but i wish i could've stayed longer. Walking distance to Gran Via and Multi Plaza was very pleasant but the hotel was the most pleasant of all. Thanks to all the workers for the hospitality!

This hotel is perfectly located! It is next door to La Gran Via, an upscale shopping center with a Cinemark theater (with newly relased movies in English!) and plenty of restaurants, including Chili's, Bennigan's, Papa John's, Starbucks, and much more! Also within walking distance is the Las Cascadas mall with a WalMart, Office Depot, and several other […] great shops. The hotel has a great pool, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. It was well worth the extra money to get the package that included breakfast--a fabulous hot breakfast! This will be my first choice for a hotel next time I'm in San Sal! Lisateave
