"A nice hotel"
My husband and I spent a night at the hotel. The directions to get there were nonexisting and we got lost a lot before finding it. No signs. The hotel is nice but needs an update in a hurry!! The food is totally overpriced, we had two sandwiches, one coke and a bottle of water and it cost $60.00. Breakfast was OK. The beach however, is amazing. "Le Domaine Delights"
This hotel was perfect for our honeymoon getaway. In the secluded bay of Anse Marcel, on the French Side of St. Maritn, Le Domaine was a nice private place to escape for my wife and me. Value.... The was room nice by French standards - decent by American. The overall prices were reasonable for what a 4-star hotel would offer, but come prepared to spend […] some money. Food prices as Kfé Leroy (Café Leroy) were reasonable for lunch and dinner. Prices were pretty high at La Table Marché and nothing really interested us there. Also, don't be afraid to check out the restaurant over at the Radisson Blu (further down the beach from Le Domaine), we had a nice dinner there. Also, bring cash.. the only ATM within walking distance is at the Radisson Blu hotel. Amenities... The beach was beautiful and nicely kept! The staff at the beach bar were friendly and attentive - the drinks were fabulous. The pool was pretty standard.. not heated and what we thought were the hot tubs definitely were not hot. The on-site concierge and car rental came in handy for us for a couple days of adventuring away from the hotel. We definitely recommend getting setup to do a boat excursion with Capt. Alain on the Standing Evasion. Our trip to Anguille was a real treat! Speak to the concierge about this opportunity. Massage/spa and watercraft rental prices were way to steep for us! We put our money toward eating and drinking well. Room Comfort... The bed was large, but pretty firm for our liking. They also advertise "abundant pillows", but we only had two normal and two throw pillows. The corner soaking tub was nice, but a true working shower would have been nicer. I also don't recommend paying for a beach view, just go with the garden view room to save some $$$. That's what we did, and when we wanted to see the beach, we just walked there. Overall... I would recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway. If we ever come back to St Martin, we would definitely choose it again. Lisateave
"Beautiful hotel"
As beautiful as the online photos. Bistro was a delight for lunch and dinner. Breakfast setting on the beach was wonderful. Beach itself was worth the visit. Staff is friendly, responsive. "Le Domaine in Anse Marcel - gorgeous location"
The best thing about Le Domaine is its perfect location. It has beautiful grounds, set on a powdery beach with a gorgeous view of the bay, and you can see a bit of Anguilla in the distance. There is a great hike up the mountain which you can take right from the hotel. Additionally, the hotel is a short drive from Grand Case, which has amazing gourmet […] restaurants. The negatives are the room amenities. The bed is hard, the pillows are tolerable, the water is lukewarm, and the room decorations are basic. Even though they claim to have wireless internet access, we were unable to log on from our room, and we brought our laptop to the breakfast area as well as to the front lobby, where we similarly were not able to gain access. They have one computer in the lobby that they allow guests to use for free, though it is usually occupied, so expect to wait. Lisateave

We spent 2,5 days in February 2012 in this hotel. You have to take into consideration that 4*Luxe is not the same as in Europe. So we think it is a solid 3 to 4* standard with some issues. The breakfast buffet was ok but not lavish. The garden and the beach are beautiful. Parking was free of charge just in front of the respective houses. "French not American"
One has to remember that 4 stars in Europe is not the same as 4 stars in the US. Taking that into account, the hotel is very satisfactory. The rooms are large, clean but not very comfortable. You can only watch tv from the bed. The staff are wonderful,they go out of their way to help you. We had dinner at their restaurant one night, the food was wonderful. […] But the waitress misunderstood how we wanted the steak cooked. So rather than medium rare, it was well done. They replaced it and tried to make things right, but we had to wait another 25 minutes. The food in Grand Case, the nearby town was surprising wonderful. All in all we would go back to St. Martin, and also stay at this hotel. We had visited the Radisson (next door) and the Westin. We were very glad we chose Le Domaine. Lisateave

This hotel is on the French side of the island which is much more quiet and relaxing with more natural beauty than the Dutch side in my opinion. "Exquisite Location"
We were delighted with this hotel. It is a bit of a drive from town, but with only 10 minutes into Grand Case, it is no problem if you have a car. The beach was delightful and the beach bar/lunch bar were quite good. Ask to try the "Rhum Arrangee" (spiced rum) that Rashid makes with local fruit and spices. We enjoyed the breakfast (included) but found […] the restaurant less impressive at lunch and dinner. If you do have a car, check out the Lolo's (outside BBQ) in Grand Case or a more expensive dinner at Tastevin. Our room had a great set-up with a giant bathtub/shower that can be separated from the room by a curtain. The toilet is separate, European style. Balcony was a great place for an afternoon drink, late night snack or just a place to wait for fellow travelers to get ready. In terms of the amenities: we didn't take advantage of the pool until the last night there--well worth it! The beach is unsurpassed for daytime, but if you're looking for a midnight swim the pool is large, gorgeous and deserted after dark (at least during our stay). "What a hidden gem. BEAUTIFUL"
This hote is in Anse Narcel on Fench side north island tucked in a little cove. Radison Blue next door and you share the beach. The beach is calm, super gorgoeous. Quiet. You canrent jet skis. there is an awesome beachside bar. They have an UNBELIEVABLE FREE breakfast buffet that rivals that of any fancy restuarant. They alo have uch by poolside/beachside. […] We didn't try the resuarant for dnner. There is a small harbour next door. They have 2 restuarants Calypso and an Italian one that I forgot the name. We ate calypso...not impressed, but pizza was good. Wait staff not friendly. 2 late twenty something guys that looked they were ready to go clubbing ran the place. Radison had a restuarant, you may want to try it or the on at Le Domaine. Rooms were simple but clean. We have a strange large tub that required navigating soem slppery wooden steps to get into so be careful. The grounds were beautiful. The beach was awesome, bar was perfect but pricey. Overall, awesome hidden paradise. Gand Case is short drive away where you can go to restuarant row with dozens of choices. Also large grocery store nearby. Overal,, highly recommend/ Lisateave

The hotel grounds were very nice and service was great. The room set up was excellent and bed very comfortable, also no smelly mold issues to deal with as has happened at other tropical climate hotels that we have visited in the past. The only suggestions I would make in regairds to the room is to ensure that the bottom of the tub/shower curtain is […] clean since ours was not and appeared to have mold on it We would go back there again. Getting there may not be half the fun but is certainly was interesting and the views coming over the mountain to the hotel are a must see/do. We rented a small car from Thrifty which is perfect for narrow streets of local villages. The rental price was fair and the final bill held no surprises. Le Domaine is a charming French hotel. The staff is excellent, […] the hotel location is great, the room we had was adequate. Our room did have a nice patio surrounded by shrubs and plantings to give us some privacy and was big enough to enjoy late night wine an cheese. The TV in the room was a perfect HD flat screen TV with dozens of channels in English, many originating from our hometown -- NYC. The only negative about our room was the location of the shower/sink, where the living area should be. The commode was at the opposite end of the suite. To make matters a bit worse, it was virtually impossible to shower without having water run onto the floor. It was a little quirky but acceptable. Le Domaine is on a perfect white sand beach with more than enough chaise lounge beach chairs with small tables and sun umbrellas. This beach can't be beat for sunbathing, swimming, people watching or lunch alfresco. The evenings are a little isolated but that's when the car is so handy. It is only a few minute drive to Grand Case's restaurant row. That is a must do. The food and entertainment is pitch perfect for a beach vacation -- good food, reasonable prices, friendly people everywhere. I had sworn off St Martin many years ago in favor of St Bart's or Saba or other nearby islands. I am really pleased to have tried it again. It is one of those rare places that get's better with time. My wife and I plan to return to the island, and probably to Le Domaine. Lisateave

March 3, 2011. I had a lovely visit at Le Domaine. The service was friendly, my room was clean, the hotel grounds were lovely. Breakfast was really great, with made-to-order omelettes, crepes, etc. included in my hotel price. The service staff was very friendly and attentive when needed, but in general, the hotel seemed understaffed. Anse Marcel has […] a lovely beach, more secluded than others on the island, and that was what i was looking for. "Little Slice of Heaven"
This is not the easiest place to get to but worth the challenge. You will have to climb a fairly steep hill and then go down the other side to get to the resort. Once there, you will be greeted by a wide open expanse of tropical landscaping. There is a courtyard of palms, grass, and flowers to dazzle the eyes. The rooms are of the type where the jacuzzi […] is part of the room/toilette which can be separated only by pulling a drape that hangs above. A camode is set off in a separate water closet. The guest crowd is decidedly French, so if you want to practice up on your idioms, this is the place to go. The hotel shares a bay with the Radisson Hotel, but that's it. No other hotels. The bar is a delightful structure surrounded by cabanas available to all guests to sit/recline in comfy chairs while overlooking the magical turquoise water. The hotel is a bit pricy for what it offers, but just a bit. This is definitely a place for a romantic getaway, but I don't think you'd want to go here with the family. Lisateave

The room was nothing to write home about, and the service was ok. The restaurant was always dead. The private beach shared with the Radisson was the nicest part, i walked over to the Radisson and wish i would have booked there.

Prima hotel met een zeer goede service. Uitstekend ontbijtbuffet en poolservice. Ligbad minder geslaagd, geen wanden waardoor het water over de vloer loopt. Een normale douche is wenselijk.

L'anse Marcel est une petite crique (très) encaissée qui abrite le Domaine et le Radisson. C'est si calme qu'on peut passer des heures à lire en regardant la baie et l'île Anguilla au loin. Le jardin est fleuri, avec les chants d'oiseaux au petit matin, c'est divin. L'hotel est bien agencé, avec la plupart des chambre en vue mer. Le restaurant en terrasse, […] et le petit bar de plage sont très agréables à fréquenter. Service du personnel irréprochable. Quelques petits bémols : la carte du restaurant n'est pas à la hauteur de ce qu'on trouve ailleurs sur l'île pour 30 ou 50 euros, mais on peut s'en échapper en mangeant un snack (très bon) au petit bar de plage de Rachid, le charmant tenancier marocain qui vous fera déguster sa collection de rhums arrangés, ou en marchant jusqu'au Calypso au bord de la marina, ou en louant une voiture ou un taxi pour aller plus loin. Attention aussi à l'équipement de bains des chambres : une grosse baignoire ronde pas facilement accessible pour handicapé, personne âgée ou femme avec petits enfants. Penser à demander un tapis antidérapant à l'accueil. Des chambres au standard handicap seront disponibles très prochaînement (au rez de chaussée) Lisateave
"Hyggelig opphold"
Vi måtte bytte rom da naborommene var under ombygging og medførte mye støy. Dette medføret litt frustrasjon, men etter den episoden var oppholdet trivelig. Frokost og resturanten er god, og jeg vil fremheve resepsjons personalets service innstilling. Stranden er flott. Vi fant også en trivelig resturant i lokalmiljøet 2 min utenfor hotellet (Calypso […] ?) hvor innehaveren spanderte både vin dessert ettersom vi ble kjent. God mat og personlig service Vi brukte stort sett taxi, men i ettertid ville vi valgt bil ettersom det medfører en del venting. Ofte kom taxien med flere familie medlemmer. Et av høydepunktet var en dag på Pinot Island, - må oppleves. Perfekt strand, selvplukket hummer på trivelig resturant i bokstavelig talt i vannkanten. St Martin bør opplevels fra sjøsiden, meget vakker med mange strender som var ubefolket i november ettersom sesongen visstnok starter 15 desember. Da er det mer travelt, og resturanter må bestilles. Det slapp vi Grand Case (10 min taxi) har også mange gode resturanter En liten kommentar. Alle kvinnelige ansatte gav en veldig god og personlig service, mens mennene stort sett var avmålte og lite service minded. Dette gjaldt bla i strandbarene hvor vi følte vi var til bry når vi bestilte drinker. Uansett, vi vil svært gjerne retunere hvis anledningen byr seg. St Martin er en øy med mange hyggelige mennesker. "TRES BIEN PLACE"
En bord de plage, hôtel superbe avec un personnel attentionné. Hors saison, donc peu de monde, nous avons été surclassé en suite !! Magnifique. Bon restaurant. Dommage que la salle de fitness ait été occupée par des séminaires, donc pas disponible.

hotelový personál byl příjemný a vstřícný,ubytování v čistotě ,jen hluk byl slyšet na pokoji.Restaurace v hotelu byla trochu dražší. Hotel je umístěn v krásné a udržované zahradě. Moře a pláž přímo super včetně všech servisů. Jen občas nebyly odpoledne k dispozici plážové ručníky. Byla to jedna z nejkrásnějších dovolených.

Fina rum, ny renorverade, utsikt mot havet, internet på rummet, bra städning, vi bokade 3 nätter till för att vi var så nöjda. Hissen fungerade EJ vid ett par tillfällen, vilket var det enda negativa.
