"Great place!"
Great hotel, ski in - ski out, got upgraded to a nicer condo room with a balcony and still had a whirlpool. Only downer was the lack of ice tray in our fridge or an ice machine within 3 buildings (5 minute walk). And the heater was a little overzealous, but it worked just fine. I'll definitely stay here again!

"Nice Retreat"
Staff at the front desk where very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and relaxing. The food was also excellent. Would book at this Hotel again.

"Best Lodge in Lutsen Area"
We stayed at Caribou Lodge after reading good reviews at trip advisor & this website. Really nice hotel, would compare easily to any 3 or 4 star hotel. Bathrooms were very clean and the room was in perfect condition with all the amenities in new condition. The Mountain View room in which we stayed had a great view of Lutsen. Though we were non-skiers […] we still enjoyed the scenic view the room had to offer and the ideal location. Would definetely return next spring. Lisateave
"Caribou Highlands in Lutsen, MN"
Caribou Highlands sits at the foot of the Sawtooth Mountains. The view from the backside of the hotel is breathtaking. It had a secluded resort feel. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms had tasteful upscale north woods decor. They have free activities for guests including mountain bikes, canoes, volleyball, tennis, hiking paths, a dvd library, […] smores for sitting at their campfires, three hot tubs, and a pool. It was family friendly but also very romantic. I'd recommend it to anyone staying in Lutsen. I was unable to get in for a massage appointment during my stay and would recommend booking spa services prior to your arrival. Lisateave
