Red Roof Inn Cookeville - Cookeville

Cheap but bad. Stay away.

The hotel was very close to I-40. Several chain restaurants closeby. The room is basic and minimal, but we got a good night's rest there. Breakfast in the morning was also basic - bagels, waffle, pastries, fruit. The room was clean.

This was a great overnight stay! The front desk was courteous and friendly. Very helpful with directions to Fall Creek Falls park. It was conveniently located to the interstate and many restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel for the weary traveler.

I wasn't familair with the area at all and was concerned booking online, but I had no choice. Boy was I surprised! The staff was very friendly, the rooms clean and had all the conviences needed. Restaurants were within walking as well as shopping. I felt safe and secure there as well. I would definately stay there again!

I am always leary about booking hotels on line but because of the great reviews Red Roof Inn already had I booked it. The price was great, one of the cheaper places to stay and the room was very clean. My family and I will choose this Red Roof Inn again when we come to Cookeville.

This was actually a really nice area very accessible of highway 40.

Clean, good staff, recently renovated. Very affordable. Only negative was a slight musty odor in the room, which can be ignored after about fifteen minutes. Would stay again.

Have stayed at location twice. Both times the room was well maintained and very clean. Excellent place to stay for the price.

Quite clean, very pleasant staff, my dog, husband and I enjoyed it very much. Many restaurants close by.

My wife, dog and I have stayed in this hotel twice on our path back home, and I have no major complaints. The staff has been very friendly both times we have checked in, and I feel that they would go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The surrounding area is pretty safe, especially since the hotel is right next door to the highway […] patrols' headquarters. The room itself is basic, but clean. The bathroom is a bit small, but it serves its purpose (and again, it is clean). I haven't tried the breakfast as there is a Cracker Barrel across the street that is wonderful. Finally, you cannot beat the price! It is the cheapest hotel that is decent to stay in that I have found in a long time. The hotel is not luxery, but for the price, it is a great place to relax, shower and sleep after a long drive. Lisateave

i enjoyed our stay here for the fourth of july weekend. the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. the tvs could use an upgrade. the bed was a great size just kinda hard tho! staff was very friendly and if needed i would stay again. the pool was a little disturbing due to all the bugs in it!

The staff was amazingly friendly even though we checked in around 11:15 at night. The rooms were clean too. Overall, a positive experience!

Although there was an area above the shower where there was an obvious leak from the top floor at some point, it was mostly clean and comfortable. There are a multitude of restaraunts and shopping nearby, a McDonalds in walking distance for morning coffee, and the highway patrol station is across the street making it feel safer. The wifi worked, TV […] was ok, and the bed was as comfortable as you can expect (a little hard for my taste, but it'll do for a few days). For me, the location was ideal. I have family in Cookeville, out 70 toward Baxter, and Sparta, so this was pretty much in the middle of everything I needed to do. I would recommend this hotel. Lisateave
