first of all - it is an amazing hotel, the stuff are very nice and smiling all the time.the service was outstanding! i was a bit dissapointed of the beach because of many rocks and sea urchins which makes the swimming uncomfortable..but the sunset was really beautifull at the sea. the free activities are nice to have, and the swimming pool is pretty […] nice and clean. the food was very good , especially at the la faya restaurant (closed to nirvana section), and the room was clean and comfortable. very recommended hotel! Stayed for 7 nights, were absolutely confident though heavily overpriced, especially internet, never go swimming with dolphins....desastrious tourist trap!!!!

The hotel basically maintained by Indians (not by Creoles). The hotel itself reminded me good 4* hotel in Turkey it is good but not acceptable for such relatively exotic vacation as Mauritius. First two days wanted to go back to home only on third day get used to living. the only positive is a room view but i9t is not a reason to book the hotel. Le Meridien Ile Maurice is a great resort. The facilities are lovely. Great pool and bar. The rooms are a little dated so I would like to see some renovations starting in the near future. Saying that - the rooms were quite large and comfortable with beautiful views of the ocean. They did not have anything in the bar fridge (in any rooms) which I thought […] was a little strange. This worked well for us as we just bought soft drinks and snacks and used the fridge to store them. No one seemed to mind. We did have a problem with our air conditioner but as soon as we told the front desk the maintenance staff were out trying to fix it. When we were not happy with the result they promptly moved us to another room. The service at the hotel was great. We got a great rate for this hotel and if the same rate came along I would stay there again. However, if there was no special on then I would probably look at staying somewhere that has been renovated more recently. All in all - Very nice hotel. Lisateave

The staff at the hotel were extremely rude, not helpful at all, the hotel staff needs to be trained in hospitality. The food was not that great, the "Chefs" burnt a simple egg. There were flies inside of the coffee cups...the servers would just pour the coffee in it anyway! The cleaniness of the hotels was disgusting, the showers had mould, and was […] grimey. During our arrival, we were impressed with the style, class and over all feel of the hotel. We stayed in the Nirvana complex which was slightly disappointing as we expected more of a romantic feel, however the rooms were comfortable and convenient. The swimming pool area was peaceful and quite as promised - with no young children allowed. The staff […] were very friendly and helpful, however we left a memory card full of our pictures of the holiday on the bedside table during breakfast, and when we returned after the room service had been, it was gone. We informed security and staff, who were very unhelpful, and to this day we still have not found it or had any information from the hotel. This incident happened half way through our 2 week stay and we had to keep pressuring the staff about its whereabouts. Would not recommend to anyone. Lisateave

On the whole, We really enjoyed our five night stay here. We are a family of two adults and two kids aged 6 and 4. We were Mauritius 3 weeks in total and stayed with family for the majority of the time with the last few days in the hotel. The rooms and hotel is a little dated but that is partly the rustic style. Our deluxe garden room with sea view […] was big enough but the phone didn't work and a few fittings in the bathroom were broken but the sea view was wonderful. We were a bit of a walk from reception too, maybe 400m. The beachfront location was brilliant but they could do with a few more sun beds along the beach. The kids loved the pool. The sea bed along the hotel is rocky and unfortunately full of sea urchins which is a shame and makes the waterskiing, sailing, snorkelling a bit dangerous. Shame. We went all inclusive which i highly recommend. The prices of the drinks and food are extortionate otherwise. Service was very good but a little slow in the restaurants. The quality of the food was extremely good though. The buffet in the main restaurant was excellent. Spa prices were ridiculous which was a shame because we would have booked more treatments were it not for that. Check in was dreadfully slow however. Room was great, particularly as it had a nice veranda . Good variety of food. watersport activities worth using. Before booking though, really consider whether you want half-board or all inclusive as drinks quite expensive. If half board (as we did) have a late breakfast and bring a couple of bottle of champagne with you as hand luggage and have drink […] on the veranda at sunset (6pm) - fantastic. Lovely location but service was pretty much non-existent. When you have expectations of staying in a resort where nothing is too much trouble, Le Meridien was a big let down.

My wife and I stayed 5 nights on the hotel in April/11, we booked a Deluxe Ocean View room, but once we checked-in we realized the room had mold on the bathroom's'ceiling. After complaining with guest relations we were upgraded to a Nirvana garden view room. In terms of service the Nirvana section of the Hotel is well served, but if you stay on the […] standard room you will struggle during peak season (as our friends have). Food on the La Faya restaurant was always excellent, including breakfast. On the 180 Degrees breakfast was also good, but on some of the days they actually ran out of coffee (amazing) and were serving instant coffee instead. Dinner there was way bellow 4 star grading, specially seafood. The beach is beautiful, but as most of the beaches in Mauritius it has stones and you have to use protective shoes to swim at ease. Overall a good experience, but you only get 4 stars service at the Nirvana rooms, and for that price there might be better options in the island. Lisateave

We had a fantastic stay at the Le Meridien. We chose to stay at the Nirvana section because we wanted a peaceful and tranquil stay (no kids under 12 allowed in the section!). The hotel setup works very well because you can go to the main section where the families hang out - if you feel for some activity or you can relax in the NIrvana section, which […] has a stylish pool, bar, restaurant and lounge area where kids are not allowed. The service is fantastic and the sea views very pretty. So just ignore any bad reviews from grumpy people and book this hotel! Lisateave

Территория большая, зеленая и ухоженная. Пляжи чистые. Спа на уровне. Необходимо обновить мебель, провести косметический ремонт помещений, решить проблему с доступом к интернету. Персоналу быть более внимательными при выписке счета, часто счет приносят завышенный.

Très mitigé. Si je dois dire une seule chose de positive de cet hôtel c'est juste que le personnel est très aimable, accueillant et sympathique. Contrairement à celà l'hôtel ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. L'établissement est vieillot mal entretenu les tuyaux d'évacuation sont à l'air libre. Et enfin pour finir je ne pourrais en aucun cas conseiller et ou envoyer mes clients dans cet hotel. Quant à l'emplacement de l'hôtel il est très éloigné de la ville il y a un seul super marché. Pour pouvoir aller manger dans d'autres restaurants en dehors de l'hôtel(car trop chers) il est impératif d'aller jusqu'à Grand Baie pour manger. Les photos sur internet sont trompeuses, l hotel a besoin d'un serieux rafraichissement. L hotel n a pas d ascenceur, pas tres pratique quand on a un enfant en poussette. Le verrou de la porte de la chambre etait casse, la moitie des faux plafonds de l etage etaient retires et on voyait les cables electriques a nus, meme pret de la piscine il y avait […] des cables electiques a nus!. L'hotel est bien situe mais les prix exhorbitants de ses restaurants sont une incitation a aller a l exterieur. Le personnel est toujours souriant mais a l air deborde. Lisateave

Die Hotelanlage ist ziemlich weitläufig. Wir waren im Nirvana-Teil des Le Méridien in einem OceanView - Zimmer. Dieser Teil (keine Kinder unter 12) ist am rechten Ende der Anlage, einige Gehminuten vom Haupthaus mit den Shops und den diversen Restaurants entfernt. In diesem ruhigeren Teil des Hotels hat es eine Poolbar und das Restaurant La Faya. Das […] Zimmer ist tadellos und das Bad mit Wanne und sep. Dusche tipp top. Vom Balkon (1. Stock) hatten wir einen direkten Blick auf den traumhaften Strand. Die Bar im Nirvana-Teil kann man auch vom Pool her geniessen. Der Pool ist auf zwei Stufen angelegt und sehr sauber. Zwei Duschen für Leute, welche gerne im Sand liegen oder im Meer baden. Der Sand- Palmenstrand ist ganz so, wie man sich das eben vorstellt.... feinkörnig, azurblaues Wasser leicht abfallend, einfach herrlich! Nivana-Gäste können das Frühstück (etwas weniger Auswahl als im Hauptrestaurant) auch im La Faya einnehmen. Das haben wir jeden Morgen gemacht, vor allem weil es halt nur 1 Minute vom Zimmer aus ist :-) Viele frische Früchte (der Fruchtsalat ist top), Schinken, Käse und geräucherter Marlin.... interessante Brotauswahl (zum Beispiel mit GreenTea-Toast...) und diverse Müesli/Flakes). Unbedingt die Bananen-Konfitüre und Croque Madame probieren! Es kann auch ohne Zusatzkosten Spiegeleier, Omelett nach Wahl usw. bestellt werden. Illy - Kaffee im Mokka-Glaskrug jeden Morgen. Auch Illy-Espresso ist überall erhältlich. Wir schätzen einen guten Kaffee am Morgen. Da wir keine grossen Buffet-Fans sind haben wir fast jeden Abend im La Faya gegessen. Das Essen war immer toll und die Lage direkt am Meer ist super. Jeden Abend andere Menüs. Eines Morgens kamen wir nach dem Frühstück ins Zimmer zurück, als dieses gerade geputzt wurde. Es lag schon ein schön aus Handtüchern gefalteter Schwan mit Rosenblättern auf unserem Bett. Man hat uns dann gezeigt, wir man mit den Handtüchern alle möglichen Dinge wie Elefanten, Affen, usw. falten kann. Das hat uns sehr gefreut. D Lisateave

Hotel correct sans plus par rapport a la concurrence . Pas d effort particulier de la part du personnel ou de la direction surtout lors du passage du cyclone ou tout le monde etait cloitré dans l hotel ... WIFI poussif dans le hall ... Pas grand charme ... Serait un tres beau hotel dans un autre pays comme la Reunion mais pas a Maurice ou la concurrence […] le laisse sur place ... Personnel tres peu aimable qui parle sans cesse entre eux , pas de bonjour lorsqu il vous croise dans les couloirs . Piscine petite . Tarifs prohibitifs si non reservé a l avance ! Lisateave

Le site de l'hôtel est très joli mais c'est le seul point positif. Excentré des lieux touristiques, le personnel nous recommande le taxi qui est très cher (10 fois plus cher que le bus qu'il faut prendre à 10mn à pieds de l'hôtel, et bien sûr dont le personnel ne vous parle pas!). Les prix pratiqués par l'hôtel (du cocktail/restaurant aux massages) […] sont excessifs, de loin supérieurs aux prix pratiqués à l'extérieur de l'hôtel. Chambre sans mini bar, sans téléphone qui fonctionne (donc impossible d'obtenir le room service, en sachant qu'il faut réserver sa place au restaurant la veille...), l'insonorisation est médiocre, on entend les enfants d'à côté et les voisins du dessus. D'autres hôtel sont mieux situés, moins cher, et pour un cadre tout aussi joli, n'y aller qu'avec beaucoup d'argent et l'envie de rester enfermé dans l'hôtel. Lisateave

Meget flotte og store rom. Hyggelig betjening, noen ganger litt overivrige. Viktig! Ønsker man "barnefri" ferie er det viktig man booker inn på "Nirvana" delen av svømmebassenget, et svært flott område med egne fasiliteter som svømmebasseng, restaurant, og ingen tilgang for øvrig hotell gjester.

het personeel is vriendelijk , maar als er iets moet gebeuren moet je het wel driemaal vragen. Mijn beoordeling zou postief zijn indien het hier gaat om een 2 sterren hotel, maar dit hotel voldoet helemaal niet aan zijn 4 sterren status. Het euvel ligt volgens mij aan het management die op zijn zachtst "amateuristisch " mag genoemd worden. "De sauna […] mag niet warmer dan 60° " van het management.....Nooit en nergens ter wereld bestaat het dat een sauna onder de 80° blijft. De keuken is eerder middelmatig en de twee aparte restaurants (reserveren en bijbetalen) halen een beter niveau. Zonder wagen of taxi kom je nergens : afgelegen. Aucun reproche à faire à cet hôtel. nous étions dans la partie Nivarna, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, le personnel est aimable, accueillant, prévenant,souriant et en plus c'est naturel. Excellent rapport qualite prix pour la restauration hormis les vins qui sont un peu cher, compter environ 40€ pour un bouteille. Une mention spéciale […] pour le restaurant "Faya" qui propose une carte et un menu d'une très grande qualité, grâce à son chef Français. La plage est belle, mais pour se baigner prévoir des chaussures adéquats, beaucoup de galets et coraux. Lisateave

Hôtel situé au nord de l'île donc une heure minimum de taxi sans compter les embouteillages possible. Très grand hôtel avec une entrée impressionnante mais la chambre n'était pas très bien entretenue pour un 4* : bois qui s'écaille, vitre de la douche pas assez translucide, téléphone datant des années 80... Mais dans l'ensemble l'hôtel est accueillant […] et propose bcp d'activités payantes ou non payantes. Quando ho prenotato questo hotel con Hotel.com avevo richiesto ESPRESSAMENTE che la camera riservata fosse al primo piano (e non al piano terreno) ed a poca distanza dalla hall e/o ristorante principale perchè ero in viaggio con mia figlia di 5 anni ed avevo il problema di non dovermi sobbarcare molta strada con lei in braccio se questa si fosse addormentata […] dopo cena. Queste richieste mi erano state confermate dall'operatore di Hotel.com, che a sua volta aveva ottenuto la conferma direttamnete dalla reception de Le Meridien. Neanche farlo apposta, all'arrivo all'hotel veniamo accompagnati alla nostra camera che si trovava a piano terrra!! Contesto al concierge che ci aveva accompagnato che la soluzione offertaci non era rispondente alle richieste pattuite e ottengo di essere accompagnato ad un'altra camera, questa volta al primo piano ma all'estremità nord dell'hotel al oltre 200 metri dal ristorante. Contesto anche questa soluzione, ma mi viene risposto che è la sola stanza disponibile al primo piano: prendere o lasciare. Dopo 13 ore di volo non avevo molte energie per stare a discutere su quale offerta avevo diritto secondo gli accordi con Hotel.com e mi sono rassegnato. Questo in ogni caso ha influito sul giudizio che ho maturato sia su Le Meridien che su Hotel.come che valuterò molto bene prima tornare ad utilizzare questi operatori. Lisateave

Hotel muito bom com requintado serviço e particular cortesia dos empregados. Há ainda a acrescentar excelente comida. Recomenda-se o serviço Nirvana. O preço foi ainda uma agradável surpresa em comparação com os hoteis similares nas Maurícias. Como aspecto negarivo aponta-se o barulho que as portas dos quartos fazem ao serem fechadas.

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura dal 18/04 al 25/04, struttura efficente, bella, pulita ed il personale gentilissimo. Lo consiglio a chiunque, anche a chi ha dei bambini piccoli.

Отдыхали 10 дней с 28 марта в номере Нирвана с видом на горы на 2 этаже. Вообще-то люблю только первый этаж - но нашли плюсы в видах на горы со второго этажа, несмотря на близкую дорогу под окнами. Нешумно. Утренние завтраки в Ла Файе замечательны- шампанское, капучино,берег океана! На закате приветственные коктейли - красота!!! Лучший день - прогулка […] на катамаране, организованная от Boat house, красота, дельфины,снорклинг! Лучший ресторан в отеле - Cummin,ресторан, который прокололся -Shells. Hotelli on päällisin puolin hieno, mutta tosiasiassa huonossa kunnossa ja korjaukset tekemättä. Selkeä pettymys, huoneissa on runsaasti kosteusvaurioita. Henkilökunta yrittää palvella parhaansa mukaan ja ovat ystävällisiä, mutta omistajat eivät anna rahaa ylläpitoon. Tilanne on aika erikoinen, koska tällä tavalla omistajat tuhoavat vain omaisuutensa. En […] ikinä mene uudelleen hotelliin enkä myöskään Mauritiukselle, täysin ylihinnoiteltu paikka. Das war wieder einmal ein Ferienhotel nach unseren Wünschen. Grosses, schönes Zimmer mit Balkon mit Meersicht. Gutes Essen und generell freundliche Bedienung. Wir konnten von den exotischen Drinks profitieren dank All inclusiv. Sauberer langer weisser Strand. Wir wussten, dass man um ins Meer zu gehen am besten Gummischuhe tragen sollten, da Steine […] und Korallenstücke sonst stören. Dafür konnten wir super profitieren vom Riff. Sportgeräte sind gratis und sehr gut gepflegt und können ohne grossen Aufwand genommen werden. Sogar Schnorchelausflüge und Wasserski sind inbegriffen. Super!! Lisateave

Hyvä hotelli, tilavat huoneet. Palvelut ok. "kunnostukseen" voisivat panostaa enemmän, mutta palvelu ystävällistä ja hyvää.
