Disney's BoardWalk Villas - Lake Buena Vista

We stayed in a one bedroom villa and it was perfect! The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans forks and knives everything you would need! Totally worth the extra money with all we saved on being able to cook! The only draw was the place is a maze!!! A lot of walking just to get to the elevator! But I loved it!

I stayed here for 10 nights and the stay could not have been better. The location is perfect for walking to Epcot or the Studios. There are tons of dining options in the area as well, without having to eat in the parks all the time. The room was in very good condition and was kept spotless during my stay. They finished a refurbishment of the main pool […] while I was there, and there were a few other places where they were doing upkeep on the property, but it didn't impact my stay. After all, it's the upkeep that keeps the hotel in good shape. All the staff I came in contact with, from the bellmen, to the front desk, to the lobby concierge, to housekeeping, were extremely friendly and anxious to help you out any way they could. Lisateave

The villas was fantastic. Beautiful rooms, easy and free parking, and great food. The only annoying item was the ferry that took guests from the hotel to Epcot. Every time it docked or left, it blew its horn continually. Since the ferry travels every 20 minutes, it seemed just nonstop horn blowing.

We arrived to find the pool closed for remodeling. The front desk did not tell us the pool was closed. We found out on our own after we put our bathing suits on and dragged the whole family downstairs for the disappointing view of a crane where the pool should be. They offered to shuttle us to the beach club which took so long that we walked. There […] is no restaurant in the hotel itself. You have to go out on the boardwalk to find everything. I found this hotel to be subpar to all other Disney properties we have stayed in and I still can't believe they thought it was ok to accept my reservation without informing me the pool was closed!!!! Great place to stay with a family. The full size kitchen made breakfasts a breeze, and having the full size washer dryer was a huge help for us!

This is a great location for a high end Disney Resort. We love the proximity specifically to Hollywood Studios but also the Boardwalk itself. We had a 1 bedroom villa that was great although there was a hint of a musty smell. But overall a great visit.

We arrived late and tired. The hotel staff greeted us immediately. She asked us for our names and stepped away for a minute to talk to the manager. I thought something was wrong. She came back...quickly gave us our keys and map to the hotel and information on transportation that we had requested for a dinner show the following evening. We were suppose […] to have a "Studio" in the Boardwalk time share villas. We were over the top elated when we opened the door we were in a one bedroom full unit with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. We screamed in delight! The room was so clean, had more towels than we could possibly need for a family of four. We asked for more pillows which were brought to us about an hour later. I tried to find the hotel clerk the next morning to say thank you. I could not find her. Thank you Thank you Thank you! we were pleasantly surprised! The Boardwalk Villas were excellent. The only thing that would have made the room more comfortable is a king size bed instead of a queen size. The room has a microwave, mini fridge & kitchen sink. You can walk to Epcot & the Disney Hollywood Studios or there […] is a boat that will take you there, too. The Boardwalk area itself has plenty of choices for food to include: the ESPN Club, a Meditteranean restaurant, a high end seafood restaurant(Flying Fish), a brewery, a bakery, a candy/ice cream shop, a pizza window, and a hot dog stand. All of this does come with a price, but I thought it was worth it. This will be my first choice for Disney accomodations for future trips. Lisateave

Fantastic location - you can walk to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. You have access to many restaurants too at the Boardwalk, Dolphin, Swan, Beach/Yacht clubs resorts. Room layout is great with a full kitchen and living room.

Very nice hotel. Well maintained, spotless. Good food and entertainment on the hotel grounds. Nice pool and for those with young children, staff had games around the pool in the afternoons.

The location of the hotel is great other than that it is dated. The service is about equivalent to a two star hotel and the room amenities were atrocious. The bed was from the fifties with questionable blanket and spread. The décor was catered to the over 50s set. Would not stay again or recommend much better options exist for less money. Fab location. 5 minute walk to Epcot or 15 minutes to Hollywood Studios (or a very short ferry ride to both). 15 minute bus ride to Animal Kingdom or Magic Kingdom. Kids loved the 200 foot long water slide at the hotel pool. Stayed in a Studio Villa. Having kitchenette was great for breakfast. Bathroom was a bit older and in need of renovation, some […] mildew on tile grouting surrounding the tub/missing grout (hence 3 rating on cleanliness of room). Stayed at the Villas in September 2011. Received a great price from Expedia. Lovely grounds. Outstanding service. Friendly cast members. Terrific location if you prefer Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Will return again if able to get the same value. A wonderful Disney experience.

We vacationed at The Boardwalk in July and had a great time. We stayed in the one bedroom suite, which was fully equipped with kitchen and washer/dryer. The hotel is within walking distance of Epcot.

Upon check-in, we were informed by Disney's Boardwalk Villas that there was an error in our reservation and they could not honor our reservation for 2 rms because they were overbooked. After a 4 hr delay, we were moved to a different property. Not a good way to start summer vacation.

I stayed in a studio villa. It was spotless, and kept that way by a great housekeeping staff. The furnishings in my villa appeared to be new - there was no wear and tear evident at all. The location of the resort is perfect for walking to Epcot and Hollywood Studios parks, and the Disney transport to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom parks was efficient. […] All the employees were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure everything was as perfect as possible. two disabled people in my party and they would not move us closer to the elevator. the walk to our room was long even for a healthy person. two of the three elevators were down. the staff was giving us incorrect directives about various things. I would rather stay closer to Magic Kingdom and there were other small issues including lack of internet and […] paying for internet we did not get. I also went back and forth waiting for someone to service our internet. The concierge sent me back and forth to my room for info on my disney park tickets only to tell me to go to the park and get them. It was a wasted full day of my vacation tending to hotel and park issues. Not in any Disney Resorts! Taking the Shuttles from place to place, was like a cattle call. Too many people on top of people,i had a stroller it was a nightmare getting it , on and off everytime. Stay outside of Disney and just take a cab. I stayed at the Boardwalk Villas over prices for the ammenties, took them 6 hours to have my luggage brought up […] to my room. Even after i gave the bellman $10 tip to bring up. Had dinner came back still no luggage, and they where rude about it, like i was bugging for my luggage. The Hotel needs a renovation for sure stuck in the 80's paid to much for the 80's style room. If there is a next time i will stay at a Brand New Marriott or something outside of Disney. This was our second time staying at the Disney Boardwalk Villas, it's the perfect set up with big bathrooms a full kitchen and comfy beds. A big livingroom with flat screen TV"s and DVD player – the adults can put the kids to bed and still stay up watching TV w/o disturbing the little ones. Also, you don't have to worry about how you're going to get to the parks, if you stay on Disney property, they have so many ways to get there – monorails, buses, boats and your good old feet. Overall, we were happy with the Boardwalk Villas. Great central location -- could either walk, boat, or bus to all of the Disney attractions. Great pool with water slide and play structure. Nice, quiet rooms. We took a 5-year-old and a 1-year-old with us. There wasn't a heck of a lot the littlest one could do. We had to keep him hostage in his stroller […] most of the time at all of the Disney attractions. I would probably wait until he is 3 or 4 to go again. The five-year-old was in heaven the entire time. He was a good age for the trip. We were there right before Thanksgiving and it was a little busier than I would prefer with little ones (when every minute counts!). We had to stand in line a lot more than I would have liked. Perfect location within walking distance of several restaurants and attraction. Only a short walk to Epcot's World Showcase where it was enjoyable to take in a short walk and enjoy an evenng beverage. Kitchenette was perfect and enabled us to save money by preparing breakfast in our room. Highly recommend!!
